Pillar of Yita

”Sorry, Mr. Pudra,” Su Changfeng moved through the crowd and approached Mr. Pudra, responding calmly, ”I’m afraid you don’t have the authority to take him away. According to Article Three, Clause Seven of the Delresh Memorandum, unless the Invoker has seriously violated the universally recognized values jointly acknowledged by Earth and Eteliria as outlined in the appendices of this clause, his personal safety and freedom are still protected by Stargate Port.”

As he spoke, he took out a Record Crystal from beneath his coat and presented three holographic screens in front of Mr. Pudra, showing the appendix of Article Three of the Delresh Memorandum, the additional terms of the ”People’s Republic of China and Colin Ishurian Kingdom Joint Statement,” and the Stargate Port Special Action Authorization (signed by the Chinese Embassy at Stargate Port).

Then he played a segment of footage.

The footage recorded scenes from the Dulun chaos, shot by some unknown person; the images were extremely chaotic. And within the footage, the voice was Ye Hua issuing orders at that time:

”Attention everyone, no actions against the Natives, all attack targets are only allowed to be the Super Competitive League.”

Su Changfeng turned off the sound.

He spoke: ”As you can see, the facts may have some discrepancies with what you claim. We can generally judge that what happened in Dulun was an internal conflict among the Invokers, not largely related to the Colin Ishurian Kingdom.”

While speaking, Su Changfeng calmly took out five Record Crystals from within his coat and placed them in front of Mr. Pudra, then looked up at him: ”If Mr. Pudra has further questions, there is a large amount of video evidence available, would you like to see it?”

Mr. Pudra instinctively took a step back.

In terms of collecting evidence, he was far inferior to these people. He wasn’t dealing with these people for the first time, fully aware that they have their methodical approach, logically tight and well connected.

However, as he retreated, two people stepped out from behind him.

One of them directly faced Su Changfeng and said, ”Sir, Article Twenty-two of the ’Stargate Declaration’ states that disputes between the Invoker and the Natives are managed and intervened by the Super Competitive League—”

The other one asked: ”So when did the military also gain the authority to intervene in Super Competitive affairs?”

Su Changfeng narrowed his eyes.

He looked at the two and realized they were officials from BBK; the New Southern Border Alliance was attempting to ally with the Elfendo Council, and their presence here was not hard to understand; both directed their gaze beyond him to Fang Hong, clearly recognizing his identity.

But Su Changfeng had no intention of wasting words on them, directly taking out yet another Record Crystal and projecting twelve document screens in front of them:

The screens displayed a document with twelve pages, sequentially unfolded in front of the crowd, a striking bold line on the title:

’Stargate Port Special Circumstances, and Emergency Response Solution, Number 56071—’

Su Changfeng looked at the two, calmly replying: ”The People’s Republic of China’s Special Action Military Units at Stargate Port, specifically enlisting Invoker, ID Ade, from this moment his identity falls under our jurisdiction—”

”According to the specially revised clause of the ’Stargate Declaration,’ the military has the authority to intervene and take over Invoker’s affairs under special circumstances, announcement complete, gentlemen please.”

The scene was immediately dead silent—

Even Fang Hong was wide-mouthed in shock.

Special enlistment, how many times has it occurred in history? He intended to negotiate with Stargate Port, but it felt like the negotiations hadn’t started and the other side had already vetoed his terms.

He wanted a legal Invoker identity, not to directly join the military.

What happened to the promised travel and adventure, the promised Second World?

Outside the live stream room, thousands at numerous screens mirrored their gasps.

The thought first to emerge in people’s minds was historical reenactment, Loofah the Second—even another Mount Holy Pact incident. And further back, when did special enlistment occur?

That was nearly the earliest era of the Stargate Era.

”Wow, that’s incredible…”

”Look at this, the military came prepared.”

”Indeed, don’t you all know? Since Elpaxin, a crowd has been searching for him, don’t you know his nickname yet?”

”He has a nickname?”

”Of course, ever since the Morning Dawn Star incident till now, the Rainbow Alliance, the military, and the Descendants of Flor have been seeking him, resulting in delays until today.”

”Haha, the cooing Alchemist.”

The chatter surged in the comment bar.

However, the two BBK officials weren’t as relaxed as these people, their faces alternating between blue and white, arguing: ”But Stargate Port cannot enlist someone without evidence…”

Su Changfeng calmly raised his index finger:

”First, Ade was a participant in the Morning Dawn Star incident, the BBK and the Free Mercenary case hasn’t closed to date. Hence, according to the ’Stargate Declaration,’ Stargate Port has the right to intervene and protect the participant.”

”You two haven’t forgotten this matter, have you?”

The two BBK officials both took a step back, their faces changed.

Su Changfeng then raised his middle finger:

”Second, Ade performed excellently at the Elpaxin Continental League, and Stargate Port happened to have a vacancy for a nominee, so why do you think he isn’t within the scope of special enlistment?”

The two fell silent instantly.

The Old Speaker had been observing coldly, and at this moment he lightly coughed and took his time to speak: ”Since it’s proven to be merely a misunderstanding, and Mr. Ade wasn’t involved in the Dulun upheaval, may I now continue to announce the results of the competition?”
