Pillar of Yita

For a moment, even the people from the Seven Seas Travel Group outside the arena couldn’t help feeling a bit uneasy.

”What are you all worried about,” Tianlan looked at everyone, somewhat puzzled: ”I’ve bet all my money on Brother Ade, and I’m not worried at all.”

Gita looked at her with concern: ”But the Captain hasn’t learned the Elven legacy related to the Fairy Master in the Hall of Thousand Doors.”

”Ah?”

Tianlan let out a shriek: ”Ah, what are you saying? Tata, why didn’t you say so earlier!”

Fang Hong walked to his position and stood firm, raising his head to look at the scene outside the arena. Everywhere his eyes could see, there was a sight of a vast crowd, a dense mass of people extending all the way to the outskirts of the plaza.

Countless eyes, thousands of gazes, were converging on this small arena, the place where he stood. He originally thought he would be somewhat nervous, but for some reason, his heart was calm and peaceful at this moment.

Fang Hong knew his opponent was far from ordinary—

They, together with the Shadow Throne, proposed two extraordinary topics; of course, they wouldn’t be lifting a stone only to drop it on their own feet. The opponent must be highly confident and very skilled in this art. Fang Hong even knew the opponent mastered another type of Alchemy, which must be their trump card.

They didn’t bring it out in the last round, but there is no guarantee they won’t reveal it this round, and as long as the opponent scores over ninety-one points, Ragnarok will lose.

Fang Hong was never the type to care more about winning than anything else.

—As long as losing doesn’t cost him money.

But now, as he placed his hand on the prepared Fairy Gem, the icy touch responded back through his fingertips, and somehow, he involuntarily recalled Andrew’s words.

”Ade, don’t let down the girl from the Albert Family.”

”She’s not as strong as you think, and now she doesn’t have many people she can trust.”

Fang Hong’s mind couldn’t help but flash Miss Ship’s Officer’s gentle eyes.

Trust is always mutual.

So this time.

He had to win.

He just lightly raised his hand.

Actually, there was not any special gesture, not even Fang Hong’s fingers touched the Crystal, yet the radiant gemstone rose automatically, as if an invisible force made it float in mid-air.

And no one would see, not far from Fang Hong, a small Fairy Lady was sitting upright, with her hands pressed on her knees.

She was the Guardian of the Silver Tower.

Eyes of pale green changing, filled with the light of reason.

”Miss Tata,” Fang Hong quietly looked at his Dragon Soul and softly responded: ”I’m relying on you again this time.”

Tata just nodded.

But she suddenly raised her head, looking earnestly at her knight, softly starting: ”Mr. Knight, let me tell you a story first.”

Fang Hong was slightly startled.

”Ade, have you heard of the history of the Fairy Master?”

Her voice was very light.

What she recounted was a story never heard by the world.

The origin of the Fairy Master comes from the final work left by the Great Alchemist who is still praised by the world to this day.

It was the only unfinished design among his many great works throughout his life, and this design became the origin of everything thereafter.

He left behind a doll, a Fairy Gem, a will, and a concept—it was a type of puppet unseen by people before, almost different from any type of Flexible Construct known today.

It was incomplete, causing the craftsman controlling it to become an oddity among Combat Artisans.

Fairy Master.

A type of Combat Artisan who doesn’t fight.

After that, countless artisans continued down this unfinished road—

Because in the concept, it left behind this statement: ”To the successors, I believe that the ultimate realm of the artisan has finally found a direction...”

”...We have seen a ray of Dawn in the darkness, the light of the Silver Tower, and as we depart, I must give this most precious heritage to those who truly need it...”

The incomplete will left the world with a puzzle that could never find direction.

Yet people believe this is the answer left by the Great Alchemist, the missing piece on the craftsman puzzle—Artisan Dragon Knight.

”...Fairy Master, is it truly the path to the Artisan Dragon Knight?”

The Fairy Lady’s eyes were bright.

”For hundreds of years, this question has remained unanswered—”

”Thus the Silver Tower was born, in the era when I was born, those masters of superb skill guarded the legacy from the Ancient Era, they used every effort, but ultimately failed.”

”And I was born from this plan.”

Fang Hong looked at her in surprise: ”Miss Tata, you’ve remembered?”

Tata nodded: ”After passing through the Hall of Thousand Doors, I’ve gradually remembered some things from the past these days, although not much, it’s quite beneficial. Thank you, Mr. Knight, this is the gift you’ve given Tata.”

She lightly patted her skirt, stood up, and looked up at him.

”Now it’s Tata’s turn to give you a gift.”

”Please watch closely, Mr. Knight, how the artisans of the Silver Tower used to create Fairy Dolls—”

”...And the Fairy Skill currently handed down in Colin Ishurian is merely just the tip of the iceberg.”

”Unfortunately, I don’t know what happened thereafter, why the Fairy Skill scattered...”

She said as she raised her hand, extended a slender finger, pointing towards the Crystal, a silver light vein formed between the two.
