Pillar of Yita

Suddenly she understood, with some realization: ”I get it, it was arranged by your beautiful Miss Ship’s Officer, wasn’t it? I told you, why would Count Westwood Sibika decide on an heir and make such a bizarre challenge?”

”It’s not just because of that,” Fang Hong lowered his voice and said, ”I sent you a message before, but you didn’t reply. After the match, when there’s a chance, I’ll explain it in detail.”

Sophie raised an eyebrow: ”I was busy arranging tactics earlier, didn’t have the communicator on.” She was smart enough to instantly realize: ”Is it related to that matter?”

The matter they were referring to was nothing other than the Dragon Worship Cult they had been investigating.

Fang Hong nodded slightly: ”Almost.”

”That’s a relief,” Sophie breathed a sigh of relief, ”If we really beat you, wouldn’t your Miss Ship’s Officer hate me to death?”

Fang Hong felt it didn’t matter; it’s all about skills. If they couldn’t beat Silver Weslan, how could they hope to win against those who come afterward? The result wouldn’t be any different. Thinking about this, he also felt a bit worried.

Silver Weslan wasn’t their strongest opponent in this arena. Among the ten grand guilds, those most skilled in craftsmen training were none other than the Rose Cross Army, Elite, and Silver Forest Spear.

Both Silver Weslan and God Slayer were slightly above average, and now that Silver Forest Spear was already in the main competition, they could be ignored. In this exhibition match, they still had two strongest opponents, the Rose Cross Army and Elite.

But their team barely won against Silver Weslan with such difficulty, how could they proceed in the next two matches was truly a headache for him.

Thinking of this, he couldn’t help but sigh at how the Soul Fingerprint senior was indeed professional; her strategy of securing fourth place and striving for third truly assessed this team’s maximum potential to its fullest. Beside him, Sophie clearly realized this too and reminded him:

”Your next opponents might be the Rose Cross Army and Elite. To reach the finals and even win the championship, it’s not going to be easy,” she also lowered her voice, ”You’re fine, but your teammates—”

She didn’t say the rest, but Fang Hong naturally understood what it meant.

He nodded and said, ”I’ll think of a way.”

But at this time, Sophie couldn’t help but blush a little and asked, ”I understand all that, but can you let go of my hand first?”

Fang Hong exclaimed, realizing he was still holding the hand of Princess Silver Weslan, hurriedly and awkwardly he let go. As he turned his head, he saw everyone present looking at the two of them with meaningful expressions.

The girl named Shuishui was wide-mouthed, looking at the two and letting out a long ’Oh—’.

On the arena, people’s discussions about Ragnarok’s victory over Silver Weslan didn’t last long.

Because soon, an even more shocking news made people quickly forget about the previous upset—at this moment, on Arena One, an even bigger upset was unfolding—the Shadow Throne team had just eliminated the Rose Cross Army with a decisive 3.5-point margin.

This news spread like an atom bomb in the hearts of everyone. If Ragnarok’s victory over Silver Weslan was understandable, given that even though Ragnarok was at the bottom, it was still one of the ten grand guilds.

It was possible to select a batch of geniuses from the Youth Training Camp to win against Silver Weslan temporarily, which wasn’t too surprising. But what was the Shadow Throne guild? Had it not been for this integration of Southern Region guild forces by the Super Competitive League, most people wouldn’t even know such a guild existed.

Especially for non-local Southern Region people.

And who were the Rose Cross Army? They ranked high among the ten grand guilds, the former patron of Silver Weslan before its division, in terms of heritage and craftsman training, even ahead of Silver Weslan.

Even compared to Elite and Silver Forest Crown, guilds producing top-notch craftsmen, they were equally matched.

How did Shadow Throne win over such a guild, even if it was in the Lesser Arena?

But facts are facts.

And Shadow Throne won effortlessly, with a 3.5-point decisive margin, which was rarely seen even between grand guilds, let alone when a grand guild crushed a small team with such exaggerated scores.

Su Changfeng was walking amidst a boiling crowd, when he heard the news, he was stunned for a moment. He naturally knew how big this upset was, but unlike the general public who were enthusiastically discussing, his thoughts were on other matters.

Why did Shadow Throne have this upset at this moment, was there other changes and arrangements? But the surveillance team did not seem to have reported any abnormality, could it be that the opposite was simply trying to make a name in this competition?

He was thinking as he walked.

His daughter’s match had already concluded, but there was still time to catch up. Su Changfeng was preparing to move through the crowd, but suddenly he heard a gentle gasp around him. He instinctively looked up, only to find that the organizers had put the projections in the sky on the two winning teams that had finished first.

One of them, naturally, was Shadow Throne’s team.

But when Su Changfeng looked at the other team, his gaze was immediately fixed.

It wasn’t just him; the VIP box was also in an uproar.

In the box, Phales, who had been frowning and flipping through the list, suddenly heard a buzz behind him. Displeased, he turned his head—he had brought two groups of people from the north with his envoy group; one was from the Golande Guild.

And the other was naturally from Elpaxin, bringing the contenders all the way south from Elpaxin Artisan Association, and at this moment, these people were pointing at the projection in the sky, making a clamor.

Phales couldn’t help but be extremely furious, thinking no wonder the new generation trained by Colin Ishurian was getting worse, these foreign Artisan Associations were really getting more decadent, even disregarding the basic etiquette of an Alchemist.

He was about to scold them.

But just then, a round Dwarf came beside him, loudly shouting: ”Phales, it’s that little guy!”

”Who?”

Phales was slightly taken aback.
