Pillar of Yita

”Tangtang, what are you saying?” Fang Hong was very embarrassed.

Hilveld just gave a light smile: ”But it doesn’t matter, after all, we can serve as the eyes of Lord Captain—especially considering my background, suspicious looks are always inevitable, I will certainly guard this matter well for the Captain.”

Fang Hong glanced at his Miss Ship’s Officer, feeling somewhat burdened about whether she might be overexerting herself. He couldn’t help but think back to their first meeting at Traveler’s Rest, was she looking at him with the same expression back then?

But even though Miss Ship’s Officer didn’t have the telepathic ability with him like Tata did, she seemed to always understand his thoughts, and she now gave a slight smile and asked softly, ”Lord Captain, are you thinking about yourself again?”

”Ah?”

”Rest assured,” Tang Xin suddenly replied coldly: ”I guess Miss Hilveld definitely hasn’t doubted you.”

”Why, Tangtang?” Fang Hong was baffled, am I really that special?

”Because you’re too stupid,” Tang Xin replied, ”If it were me, I wouldn’t suspect a fool.”

This answer drew a low chuckle from everyone, significantly easing the previously tense atmosphere.

Fang Hong was quite embarrassed, intending to ask Hilveld about her plans to divert the topic. Just at this moment, everyone suddenly noticed the Uncrowned Crown approaching from the direction of the crowd, returning to them with Delice still following behind.

”Miss Hilveld, we are back,” the Uncrowned Crown said.

”Delice, did you see that gentleman?” Hilveld asked then.

The latter nodded.

Fang Hong looked at the two communicating, feeling bewildered, not understanding what they were talking about. He suddenly remembered the look the Uncrowned Crown gave before leaving, and couldn’t help but ask, ”Uncrowned, what happened before? Why did you and Delice leave so quietly?”

Hilveld turned around and said, ”Because Delice’s father plans to marry Delice off to that young man named Rolin—”

”What!?” Everyone except Hilveld was surprised. How old is Delice anyway? Is such a marriage even legal? But Fang Hong was momentarily stunned, then remembered this was Eteliria, not his own country.

But Rolin is also an Invoker, and according to the ’Stargate Declaration’, the actions of Invokers must first comply with the laws of their host countries on Earth. However, the Uncrowned Crown then answered hoarsely, ”It’s an engagement, but Eteliria’s nobles rarely break marriage agreements.”

Fang Hong was stunned for a moment, looked at the Uncrowned Crown, and suddenly realized something. Feeling somewhat surprised, he couldn’t help but ask, ”Uncrowned, you and Miss Delice?”

The Uncrowned Crown blushed and quickly said, ”Ade, it’s not what you’re thinking.”

This remark shocked Tianlan greatly: ”Uncrowned, you, you and Miss Delice? Del, Delice is just, just... Uncrowned, I didn’t expect you to be such a person!”

She was so frightened that she quickly pulled Gita’s small hand and backed away a step.

Making the Uncrowned Crown totally at a loss.

Fang Hong also looked seriously at the Uncrowned Crown and said, ”Uncrowned, between you and Miss Delice?”

The Uncrowned Crown hurriedly shook his head: ”I do like Delice, but there’s absolutely nothing inappropriate. I will wait for her to grow up, and if she is still willing to accept me then...”

Fang Hong finally breathed a sigh of relief, fearing this guy might cause some major issue. But he also knew, in Eteliria noble girls generally marry early, and it is very much different from the customs on Earth. Even though Delice is young, her understanding of marriage is not comparable to girls of the same age on Earth.

Upon hearing their dialogue, Delice also took a step forward, speaking softly and tenderly, ”I like Uncrowned, and Uncrowned likes me, what’s wrong with that? Mr. Ade, if you are willing to help us, the future of Rose Workshop will surely stand behind you.”

This made Fang Hong slightly startled. Although Delice usually seemed very assertive, the maturity and composure contained in these words made him look at her differently. He couldn’t help but look to Hilveld behind him, and Miss Ship’s Officer gently nodded to him.

But he thought for a while, then shook his head and said, ”Uncrowned, Delice, you are my friends. Even without the matter of Rose Workshop, I will certainly help you. But Delice, in this matter, you must heed Uncrowned’s advice.”

Delice couldn’t help but show a happy expression after hearing him, nodding, ”Mr. Ade, I wrongly accused you before, you are truly a person of noble character. Sister Hilveld’s insight is indeed much sharper than mine, you say that Uncrowned and I are your friends, then both I and Rose Workshop will cherish this friendship.”

Fang Hong could not help but glance at this little girl.

And it was only then that Hilveld said, ”Then let us think of some ways, since you have already made contact with that gentleman, but Delice, there are some changes to the plan now. I need you to find a reliable servant to help us deliver a message.”

”A reliable servant?”

Delice was slightly stunned but still nodded.

The discussion in the hall was reaching its peak, even though the legend had deeply rooted itself in people’s hearts, it still needed time for people to confirm its authenticity.

Ande Ulriel was not intending to voice opposition anymore at this moment, he just thought he would make other plans to compensate his foolish student somehow, as for Heart of Fairy, naturally, he would need to find another method.
