Pillar of Yita

Only by reaching this step can people often see more clearly that true ceiling. Unable to advance even an inch means unable to advance. She looked at Fang Hong and couldn’t help but think of another one of her students, Loofah.

She hoped that Loofah could stand above the heights she once couldn’t reach, that little girl who was once highly regarded by most people, seemed indeed to have such potential.

But initially, it took Loofah a whole night to give her this answer, while the young man in front of her took only five minutes. Suddenly she remembered some rumors she had heard, those legends she once considered as anecdotes.

About the third battle zone, the strongest of the three Kings of Artisan in the history of the Chinese dynasty.

Could the Dance of the Fairy have truly existed?

Such a doubt arose in her heart as well.

However, this Construct Queen immediately shook her head, snapping back to reality. She looked at Fang Hong and asked, ”Since you’ve thought it through, how about we go another round?”

Fang Hong was silent for a moment and nodded. He wiped a sweat, the exchange between the two lasted merely an instant, but for him, it felt as if he was exhausted, his entire body seemingly dragged out of water, drenched in sweat.

He took a gentle breath, preparing to once again lift the Control Gloves in his hands.

But it was at this moment that Nether asked, ”Wait, do you have any experience left?”

Fang Hong lightly nodded his head.

”How much?”

”Not much, about a quarter level to level sixteen...”

Nether withdrew her hand, taking a glowing green leaf from her waist pouch, ”Take this.” She gently tossed the leaf forward, landing in front of Fang Hong. He looked at this leaf, astonished, it was a Holy Tree Leaf.

One of the few legendary consumables in Eteliria capable of granting genuine Cognitive Experience Points.

A single leaf translates to thirty thousand experience points.

This is no small number.

And with such leaves, a person can only use them twice in their lifetime. Because the second time it only offers half the effectiveness, the third time it becomes completely ineffective.

This is too valuable; he felt too embarrassed to pick it up immediately. But seeing his hesitation, Nether shook her head, ”Pick it up, when training newcomers, you have to be prepared with these things.” She shook her head, ”You haven’t used it before, have you?”

Fang Hong shook his head, he would use this precious item—it costs tens of thousands of Lycel per piece, about as much as he could make selling himself a couple of slices, but hearing the other party’s tone, it sounds like an essential item for top guilds to nurture genius trainees?

Fang Hong suddenly felt that the Grand Guild might not be so bad after all.

However, he quickly shook his head, brushing aside this bizarre thought.

Nether’s special training, though said to last a day, actually concluded in less than half a day.

On one hand, it was because Fang Hong already had a foundation in Swift Tactics, and the last time in Fenris underground, this Construct Queen had already imparted considerable insights to him. With a solid foundation, this lesson naturally went much smoother.

But on the other hand, it was also due to Fang Hong’s own comprehension in the Domain of combat artisans. Though he hadn’t realized it, Nether was already quite amazed. Yet she chose not to say it aloud, after all, the other party is still a young man, and sometimes being overly confident isn’t necessarily a good thing.

She had seen many such examples.

However, privately, when Mr. Odin inquired about the specifics of their training, this Construct Queen still gave him a mysterious smile.

Leaving Mr. Odin confused, looking blankly, he could only ask, ”What are you smiling about, what’s making you so giddy? Saw that fellow, Chenxi?” Nether rolled her eyes at him, ”You can’t get ivory out of a dog’s mouth, what does it matter to you if I’m happy?”

”Ridiculous.” Mr. Odin shook his head.

...

Meanwhile, as the two were conversing.

Fang Hong was looking at a boy with a baby face carrying a huge backpack, who curiously approached him. The boy looked left and right before asking, ”Excuse me, are you Mr. Ade?”

Fang Hong had just endured a bitter and arduous battle, finally earning Nether’s approval to leave. And now, drenched in sweat, sitting aside to rest, he looked at the boy and, somewhat puzzled, nodded his head.

He knew both Nether and Mr. Odin, but this boy, he had seen before—though inexplicably, he felt a bit of familiarity.

The boy has already reached out his hand, ”Hello, my name is Handwasher.”

Fang Hong subconsciously extended his hand to shake with the other.

But upon hearing this ID, his expression changed drastically, hurriedly withdrawing his hand to feel his pocket—only to find it empty. Looking up, he saw his purse was in the boy’s hands, who examined it up and down with regret:

”Really poor.”

Fang Hong’s face turned black, thinking to himself if this person could still speak properly, only saying, ”Give it back to me.”

”Don’t rush, I was just taking a look,” the boy smiled slightly, ”You placed your wallet too carelessly, if not for me checking it, who knows, you might have lost it sooner or later. But no need to thank me, it’s merely a personal habit of mine.”

Fang Hong took back his purse with an ironic face, if he believed this guy, he might as well believe ghosts, but looking at this boy, he couldn’t help but ask in disbelief, ”You, you’re Handwasher? Thief Handwasher?”

The boy nodded, ”That’s me.”

”But, but, aren’t you a girl?”

”Ah, that’s my sister.”

”Your sister?”

”Her name is Shouxi.”

Fang Hong looked at the boy skeptically, how come he’d never heard of this person having a sister before.

Yet the boy simply answered, ”Oh, you should know why I’m here, right?”

”Is it because of Mr. Odin?”

The boy nodded, ”I’m here to teach you how to deal with close-range attacks from Nightingale professions. You should know, the Nightingale class is the natural nemesis of Alchemists and other Spellcaster professions—”

He paused, looking at Fang Hong, ”I don’t have much time, you can prepare yourself now.”

Although Fang Hong doubted this person was tricking him, since Mr. Odin didn’t come out, he felt too embarrassed to ask much more. Moreover, although this person wasn’t as renowned as Nether or Mr. Odin, he was still regarded as a big shot.

Surely, he had encountered many big shots recently and gradually got used to it, but at the moment, he still lightly nodded his head.

The boy saw him nod, so he stepped back, waiting for him to get ready. But suddenly, the boy asked, ”By the way, buddy, do you still have any experience left?”

Fang Hong stopped in his tracks, feeling the words struck a chord.

He looked up only to see the boy pulling a Potion Bottle filled with golden liquid from his pocket—a Knowledge Potion. Fang Hong, at that moment, felt like crying without tears, though he knew he was poor, these big shots are quite over the top.

Everyone prepared an experience consumable, not to mention each one was different.

How could they expect any of them poor souls to survive?
