Pillar of Yita

Such a decision is indeed hard to make.

He couldn’t help but shake his head: ”I’ve never heard of such a thing before.”

”Because there aren’t many precedents for it,” Sophie continued: ”Mostly it happens in smaller competition areas. There was once in the South America area, but the impact wasn’t significant. If the government uses such measures this time, it would be only the second precedent of such a scale of competition area.”

Fang Hong listened to her speaking with certainty and couldn’t help but ask, ”Sophie, do you have any news?” He wouldn’t suspect that this Silver Weslan princess had any news from the military, but the information sources of Silver Weslan itself were far more resourceful than his.

So it wouldn’t be strange to have some firsthand information.

But Sophie just shook her head and replied, ”This is just my personal speculation.”

Fang Hong paused for a moment before realizing indeed—that this time, the actions of the Super Competitive League were too grand. Their moves in the southern part of Colin Ishurian almost shook the very foundation of the Southern Region Guild.

As for whether it would affect the competitive area’s strength?

Do you even need to ask?

Anyone with a discerning eye could see it was almost certain. The community was in an uproar over this, Fang Hong took a look, and the community was already under management control—but how could a gag order stop such discussions, it would only make things ferment faster.

In the end, even just to quell the impact, the Stargate Port might have to react.

But Fang Hong found himself a little baffled, what was the purpose of the Super Competitive League doing this?

He looked at the community again, many had previously discussed this issue, and the conclusions were varied—either the Super Competitive League lacked intelligence, or they were overly inflated, bureaucratic, systemic problems, etc.

More amusingly, some believed it was foreign forces bribing the domestic Super Competitive League, and if that were true, the military would have intervened a hundred times already. Do they really think the relevant security departments do nothing?

It wasn’t until a post caught his eye that he was slightly stunned:

’On the Independent Kingdom After the Stargate—’

’As everyone knows, the predecessor of the Super Competitive League in the domestic area was V.E.M.’

’And once you understand this, you can analyze the series of actions by the Super Competitive League after the Mount Holy Pact incident. I can assert that the Super Competitive League at present is just a façade for several Grand Guilds, so investigations into the league itself are irrelevant...’

’The series of actions by the Super Competitive League after the Mount Holy Pact incident are essentially to pave the way for the V.E.M. alliance, or rather, its backing capital groups to land in the world after the Stargate...’

’...The further rapprochement of the Super Competitive League with Colin Ishurian is nothing more than the further cooperation between the major groups behind V.E.M. and indigenous forces. Such things have long existed, but remain a first in our nation.’

’I want to remind everyone, in Osh, in Rotao, instances of major capital groups colluding with local forces, even the intervention of national power, to overthrow local regimes are commonplace... Essentially, this indeed benefits the Invoker side...’

’...Perhaps V.E.M saw the substantial returns, and coupled with the weakening performance of the domestic competitive area in recent years, losing in multiple seasons prompted such thoughts; it’s not surprising...’

’However, firstly, this contravenes our country’s diplomatic principles... Secondly, the essence of V.E.M’s actions is indistinguishable from the new colonialism, and if left unchecked, it will surely burden us with heavy political liabilities...’

’...I urge everyone to see the essence of the issue, V.E.M’s actions are akin to a runaway horse, once we lose control over the Super Competitive League, what they establish is essentially an independent kingdom after the Stargate...’

This post was long, and Fang Hong actually only read a small part of it, and when he scrolled further, the community suddenly disconnected. and when he reconnected, the Light Page was blank, the post had been deleted—

He paused for a moment, recalling the author’s ID, Jouka Teacher, but when he sent a private message there, it just prompted that the ID did not exist.

The ID was deleted?

Fang Hong couldn’t help but be a little surprised, was the management’s response too extreme?

However, the content of the previous post was somewhat shrouded in mist, and he actually only understood a small part of it.

And one point was something he clearly agreed with, that according to the original author, the actions of the Super Competitive League in the Southern Region—were to cooperate with the Colin Ishurian Royalty.

After reading this, Fang Hong had a sudden revelation, because in this way, many things made sense:

He originally thought the duty of the Super Competitive League should be to safeguard the interests of the competitive area—and the interests of the southern competitive area were clearly tied with the order of the Southern Region, after all, no one would lift a stone just to hit their own foot.

But in hindsight, the league’s series of actions in the Southern Region clearly contradicted that.

And if according to the description in this post, equating the league with V.E.M and several large guilds, and associating its core interests with the interests of the Colin Ishurian Royalty, everything becomes very clear.

Because the southern nobles were united, it obviously didn’t benefit the interests of the Royalty at the moment. This is one of Prince Coleman’s strongholds, and also where his influence is most profound; if it can’t become as chaotic as possible, how could the Prime Minister’s side strike them one by one?

But Fang Hong feeling a chill in his heart.

Because in this case, the intentions of the Prime Minister’s side and the intentions of the Super Competitive League, in fact, also aligned with the interests of the Dragon Worship Sect.

He didn’t know if this was a coincidence or for some other reason, both possibilities made sense. It might be that the Dragon Worship Sect took advantage of the opportunity, leveraging the turmoil in the Southern Region to make its next move here.

But it might also be that the whole affair is being pushed by the Dragon Worship Sect from behind, after all, the story of the Dragon’s Witch was only a hundred years past.

Of course, the greater likelihood was that both were present.

Thinking of this, Fang Hong couldn’t help but instinctively recall the scene from earlier in the day, the Shadow Throne members abducting Miss Feyos—

At once, he could not figure out whether it was the Dragon Worship Sect operating behind it, or simply the Shadow Throne executing the will of the Prime Minister’s side. After all, from the information obtained before, the Shadow Throne had joined the New Southern Border Alliance, which is backed by the BBK alliance, and he was already well-acquainted with the latter.

Not to mention, he had also heard another piece of news, the Praetor who took office in Dulun half a year before was a confidant of the Prime Minister’s faction.

And perhaps the only thing he had to investigate was what the Shadow Throne was looking for—those books Miss Feyos burned. He copied some of the secret notes from them, but they still needed translation. He handed them over to Hilveld and Miss Tata to handle, but so far there was no result.

Fang Hong fell into silence, standing side by side with the Silver Weslan princess.

The sky, alongside them, turned into a deep, dark hue.

He suddenly sighed, losing some interest in watching the fireworks display. They hadn’t even reached Redwood Forest and Fanric, and in the south of the Great Canyon, chaos had already begun to show its signs. If it was merely a contest between the Prime Minister and the Southern Region nobility, it would be fine—

After all, fighting between the nobles was to be expected. Besides, even adding Delice now wasn’t really any trouble.

But the problem was, the two lines had already intertwined.

And he even had deeper fears, but could not verify them for the moment. Fang Hong couldn’t help but look up, his expression slightly pensive.

Compared to the noble power struggles, he was even more concerned that at this moment, the forces of the Dragon Worship Sect were taking advantage. The enmity with Miss Atira and Lady Kuisu had to be avenged sooner or later—

Perhaps we should really leave Dulun, he thought.

That is, after tonight.

The celebration entered its prelude, and amid the cheers of the crowd, a beam of light was rising from the darkness.

It transformed into a ball of fire in mid-air. Was it the Dragon Knight? Or a Glider? But Fang Hong shook his head, and came back to his senses.

It was just fireworks.
