Pillar of Yita

If he hadn’t met ’R’ in the end, he would probably be even more clueless than he is now.

The things he learned in Kapuka were just the basics of alchemy, which wasn’t nearly enough to give him a comprehensive understanding of everything about alchemists in just six months.

However, the apprenticeship period for an Invoker is only six months, so he couldn’t stay in Kapuka for long anyway. Besides, he was penniless. If Miss Sicape hadn’t taken him in, he might have starved on the streets before winter arrived.

Fortunately, Ande didn’t inquire deeply. He probably guessed that Fang Hong hadn’t truly learned much in Kapuka. But this made the old man somewhat curious—where exactly had Fang Hong learned his ’Margin Technique’ from?

After all, in any school, this is considered specialized Knowledge, and without a dedicated Mentor, it’s basically impossible for a newcomer to learn such Skills.

Regarding this question, Fang Hong candidly recounted his experiences. After all, the other party even knew about Miss Tata, so this secret was nothing worth mentioning. Besides, Shana had also mentioned that he could share this training software with others, indicating that it seemingly didn’t need to be kept secret.

To be honest, he himself was somewhat curious about Shana’s training method. He had initially thought this was the basic training method for the ’Margin Technique’, but now it seemed it wasn’t. So the question was, where did this training Skill come from?

In Fang Hong’s view, perhaps only the legendary alchemist in front of him could answer this.

However, after looking at the training method, Ande couldn’t help but be a bit surprised: ”Is this what those people gave you?”

Fang Hong nodded.

”This is strange indeed. I really don’t know the origin of this training method,” the old man furrowed his silver-gray eyebrows gently, seemingly pondering for a moment, ”However, your training method is very advanced. The only thing that can be confirmed is that it is indeed a training technique for ’Margin Technique’, only the difficulty is much higher than usual...”

”There’s no hidden danger, is there, Mr. Ande?” Fang Hong always felt recently like he was being deceived, couldn’t help but become a bit skittish.

”Hidden danger?” Ande shook his head vigorously: ”What hidden danger could there be, it’s nothing but a training method. The only problem is it’s probably too unfriendly to beginners,” he gave Fang Hong a glance: ”But hasn’t this freak somehow crossed that stage?”

”I really don’t know how your brain developed, sometimes it seems like you’re a real idiot—”

He shook his head somewhat helplessly.

It must be said, the young man’s Learning Ability in alchemy was quite impressive. In his view, Fang Hong was like a sponge just soaked in water, able to endlessly absorb all Knowledge related to alchemy.

During these days of study, he had intentionally and unintentionally guided Fang Hong to learn some Knowledge of Shipbuilders and Fairy Masters, but it hadn’t stumped him at all. In his own youth, Ande had also been a standard academic achiever at the Kapuka Society, but recalling his learning experiences, he felt inferior.

But sometimes, this kid was as stubborn as if his head were filled with rocks. For example, in the etiquette, cognitive aspects, and how to interact with other alchemists, he found himself unable to teach this fool at all.

”You know, in most places, each country has its own Alchemists Association, which manages the resource exchange between alchemists. It’s through such means that countries can achieve basic management and control over alchemists.”

”Such as the Southern Alchemist Alliance?”

”Yes, but don’t interrupt,” Ande tapped his pipe: ”The point I want to make is not this.”

Fang Hong sat upright, as obedient as a genuine student. After all, he knew that having a legendary alchemist willing to teach him these things was a rare opportunity.

Moreover, during the lessons, he saw his Cognitive Experience soar in the system, only slowing down by the third day, but he still gained several thousand experience points per hour.

Working for ten hours a day meant tens of thousands of experience points.

In just these few days, his level steadily passed Level 15 and started advancing towards the milestone of Level 16. Even more surprisingly, Luo Yu, Xiangzi, and Parker, who only listened in for the first two days, each also improved in level.

In particular, Luo Yu, who had the lowest level, reached Level 7 on the first day and almost halfway through Level 7 the next day.

Unfortunately, by the third day, the old man drove everyone else away, stating that he was teaching an alchemist, not babysitting these kids. This highlighted how rare it was to have a legendary alchemist as a Mentor.

Although Luo Yu also had a legendary Elementalist as a Mentor in name, such Mentors were mere figureheads and didn’t personally impart experience, something one shouldn’t even dream of.

Did people really think that a legendary figure’s time wasn’t valuable?

Fang Hong, of course, understood that the reason the other party was willing to cram him with all this Knowledge was entirely because of Hilveld’s influence.

So at first, he was displeased with the noble lady’s tendency to trap him with her words, but after a few days, he viewed her as a charming and smiling Miss Fox again.
