Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 1483: Chapter 725: No, You Succeeded

In the distance, that world tree, its canopy changed from lush green to a rapidly wilting yellow.

Within a minute, the entire world tree turned extremely yellow.

Then, the leaves began to fall.

Xu Xin and the others were still kilometers away from that world tree, quite a distance indeed.

Yet, amidst the vast yellow sands, those three green world trees were the most striking.

This change of the world tree caught their attention immediately.

“That world tree, it must be the one we bombed!” Zeng Tao craned her neck and stared wide-eyed in that direction.

“That’s the one,” Xu Ying nodded with certainty.

“That world tree… is it going to wither?” Li Wenxi was a bit stunned.

It was the most vital world tree for the alien invaders!

If that world tree withers and is destroyed, then…

The withering of the world tree was swift.

Just in the few minutes of their incredulous discussion, the yellowed leaves from the world tree’s canopy were already falling in large numbers.

The world tree began to look barren.

Exposing the gigantic wooden structures inside, reminiscent of a treehouse.

Then, the entire world tree started to crack!

Huge fractures ran from the top to the base of the world tree.

Very conspicuous, even from kilometers away, Xu Xin and his group could see it distinctly.

“The world tree is splitting!” Zhao Xiaochuan’s eyes almost popped out, “Wow! It really is splitting!”

With his exclamation, the entire world tree in the distance suddenly split open!

Like it was axed from the top, the left and right halves began to topple to the sides!

And in the process of collapsing, the splitting continued.

Countless fine cracks appeared on the trunk and treehouse structures of the world tree, multiplying endlessly!

Before the split world tree halves could even hit the ground, it disintegrated.

Not just disintegrated, the entire world tree, at the moment of its total collapse, turned into a storm of wood chips!

As the leaves drifted down, the devastated world tree’s surroundings resembled a sandstorm gradually subsiding.

“It’s… really destroyed…?”

Everyone felt a bit like they were dreaming.

It was the most crucial world tree of the alien invaders!

“Whoa…” Zhao Xiaochuan swore again, “What’s going on, are things falling apart on the alien invaders’ side?”

“I feel, we don’t even need to check it out…” Li Wenxi murmured, “It seems like they’re already done for…”

“This internal strife is really intriguing.” Xu Xin muttered softly, then said to the others, “Let’s go, let’s go over and have a look, but we must be careful.”

The path ahead was inexplicably sown with a dense minefield.

They needed to proceed cautiously.

Lou Fei’Er led the way, scouting under Li Wenxi’s guidance.

The group behind followed her footsteps.

The journey was calm, with nothing happening.

Except…

“Ah, the world tree sapling has sprouted!”

“Growing really fast!”

…

“Oh my god, this world tree is growing faster than the previous one!”

“It’s… Only about ten minutes, and it’s almost fully formed!”

“Wow! Wow!”

…

“Is it… already fully grown?”

“Let me see… Wow, it’s been less than twenty minutes!”

The group paid intense attention to the world tree that regrew after being destroyed.

In merely a fraction of time, the whole world tree had returned to its former appearance.

It could even be said, the wood chips floating in the air hadn’t all settled before the new world tree was already fully grown.

“There have already been two withered world trees…” Zeng Tao stared at the world tree that remained unwithered, “Hey, do you think the third one will wither soon as well?”

“Fei’Er, turn thirty degrees to the left and continue.” Li Wenxi guided Lou Fei’Er from behind.

“Okay.”

“Is it possible that the world tree has actually withered before?”

Zhao Xiaochuan looked at the world tree and said.

“From my observation, that world tree seems to be much smaller than when we came last… and the leaves are noticeably much greener!”

“It does feel like that,” Xu Xin nodded.

The newborn world tree was significantly smaller than the previous one.

After all, the original world tree had grown for nearly a thousand years.

Moreover, the canopy colors of the old world tree were closer to dark green, whereas the new one is emerald green.

This distinction could be essentially observed from the main world tree that was destroyed and then reborn before them.

The difference in color of the tree canopy before destruction and after rebirth was evident.

Now, the canopy colors of these three world trees were so similar, all were fresh emerald green rather than dark green.

“So, you’re saying, the three world trees before us have all actually been completely renewed,” Li Wenxi said, observing Lou Fei’Er’s actions.

“The things inside are probably all gone, right?” Zeng Tao kicked some sand, “After our world tree was destroyed, wasn’t everything inside completely gone? Only those treehouses that could regenerate were left…”

“Not necessarily.” Xu Ying shook her head, “The internal structure of our world tree was quite unique, so after ours was destroyed, everything inside was wiped out, but it might not be the case here.”
