Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 1477 723: Tension After Languor

The three-month life inside the World Tree has eased everyoneʼs previously tense mood significantly.

Outside, it is already the second day.

Inside the World Tree, after a long forty to fifty days of continuous night, daytime has finally arrived.

The World Tree has now returned to its former prosperity.

Itʼs even more prosperous than before.

After all, this time, thousands of people are building a city together!

Xu Xin did suggest that they should not make a big deal of city-building temporarily, considering they havenʼt settled down yet, and the World Tree might be destroyed again.

However, Ji Chaoyang thought that it wouldnʼt matter even if it was destroyed again.

At least they are now certain that the treehouse planted on the World Tree wonʼt be destroyed.

This alone is sufficient.

As for city-building...

They have so many resources at hand that they can squander them freely, all collected by Li Wenxi and her mining team before the war and taken away by Ji Chaoyang and others at the time.

After all, those are resources.

Now they have countless building resources because gathering metal naturally results in a large number of by-products suitable for construction being collected.

Right now, they are just accumulating in their hands anyway.

His idea is that weapon crafting doesnʼt require many people, and farming and raising livestock inside the World Tree is too easy-going.

They must find something for these thousands of people to do.

The timeline inside the World Tree is a hundred times longer than the outside; idleness could easily lead to some chaos.

Letting them build a city is indeed the best way.

And so, thereʼs now the scene inside the World Tree three months later.

An extremely prosperous city rose rapidly in these three months.

Even with a population of over ten thousand, compared with the city now, this number seems relatively small.

The city theyʼve built could easily accommodate tens of thousands of people without any problem.

So, everyone is even considering gradually bringing up people from the underground world to the surface.

But the precondition is ensuring this place is safe.

Otherwise, in case of a crisis, itʼs easier to evacuate ten thousand people quickly, but tens of thousands...

That might be a bit troublesome.

Ordinary people may not be willing to come to a place with potential danger. The current ten thousand inside the World Tree are either Wei Familyʼs army members or fervent believers of Xu Xin and Xu Ying.

So, just now, everyone had a brief discussion via the contact group and decided to proceed with the next steps.

Zhao Xiaochuan: ”Everyone, are you busy? Umm, shouldnʼt we continue the operation?”

Wang Lei: ”Come to think of it, weʼve been idly living inside the World Tree for three months, time really flies!”

Zeng Tao: ”Huh? Is it time to move? We have enough weapons... Itʼs so nice to continue like this, why act now, itʼs so comfortable now, feels like the alien invaders canʼt come anymore, theyʼve all been defeated!”

Wen Guixin: ”Stay vigilant in peace, stay vigilant in peace Xiaotaozi, besides, I am a bit worried about its situation...”

Wen Guixin naturally refers to the creature.

When they were over there, they couldnʼt find where it was at all.

But they couldnʼt just wait over there, so they returned first.

After all, that place is one the creature is very familiar with, plus it has teleportation ability, so they werenʼt too worried.

But now, three months have passed inside the World Tree, while only a day has passed outside.

As the one who has the best relationship with it, Wen Guixin is starting to worry about its safety.

Qi Xuefei: ”Whoever wants to leave, come to me for the medicine, Iʼve developed a new drug again.”

:”Is there a new drug again?”

Qin Yunlong: ”Are you talking about that creature? Thatʼs its home, itʼs very familiar with it, it might have stayed there to further stir the situation up.”

Li Wenxi: ”Ah, are we about to move? Wait a moment, let me go up first!”

Sheʼs currently in the underground world beneath the World Tree, leading a group in resource gathering.

During this period, she rarely goes down herself, just occasionally checking for any new discoveries.

Ji Chaoyang: ”Letʼs talk about this face-to-face.”

Xu Xin: ”Alright, letʼs gather in the conference room in an hour.”

Shi Wanyun: ”Okay, got it.”

Jin Yue: ”Roger that.”

Wang Lei: ”Alright, Brother Xin!”

Zhao Xiaochuan: ”Excited, excited, finally time to set off again!”

Lou FeiʼEr: ”An hour? Wait, wait, Iʼm still busy here, two hours, how about two hours!”

Li Wenxi: ”I canʼt go up in an hour! Iʼm still deep in a cave! The one I took you into before! You know how deep it is! I canʼt go up in an hour!”

Xu Xin: ”Um... then make it two hours.”

In these three months, everyone has found their own ”position.”

But, an hour or two, it doesnʼt really matter.

The difference is just a few seconds or a minute in outside world time.

Inside this World Tree, they have all the time they need.

Moreover, they are now almost fully prepared, just waiting for the final wind to set sail.

Everything was ready a while ago, just waiting to depart.

And the timing now is perfect.

Although only a day has passed outside, the radiation around the World Tree is dissipating at an astonishing rate.
