Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 600: Chapter 412: What Did You See?

Wow, you just ate it directly?

”I thought you’d hesitate for a while.” Xu Xin said, leaning against the wall.

”Ha, already a prisoner, what’s the use of hesitating?” Qin Fu shrugged, stood up, clenched his fists, then shook his head.

”So, do you feel any part of your body has been enhanced?” Xu Xin asked.

”...Uh, my head? Seems like it’s the head?” Qin Fu pointed at his head.

Your head?

What do you mean?

”I feel clearer now,” he explained, ”as for other enhancements, there seems to be none. My body isn’t stronger, whether in strength or speed, or anything else.”

He swung his fist at the air, then shrugged: ”It’s true that the body hasn’t been enhanced.”

”Is your Spiritual Power enhanced?” Li Wenxi spoke up.

At this moment, her watch vibrated. She raised her hand to look: ”Ah! It’s a message from Yajun! The people over there have returned from mining. I need to go check it out!”

It’s already dark now, and the people who went out to mine are back.

To be honest, the working hours are not long, given that the days are too short now.

”Alright, you go ahead, you’ve slept all day, it’s time to get some work done.” Xu Xin smiled.

”You slept all day!” Li Wenxi punched him, discontented, ”I’ve been watching your house for you all along!”

”Didn’t you fall asleep right after lunch?” Xu Xin exposed her.

”That... that’s all Keke’s fault!” Li Wenxi felt a bit embarrassed and then rubbed Keke’s small head.

”Huh?” Keke blinked innocently and made a sound.

”Alright, alright, I’m going back to manage my people, you need to handle yours too!”

Li Wenxi, having slept all afternoon under Keke’s influence, was now full of energy. After bidding farewell to everyone, she teleported back to her treehouse.

Qin Fu hadn’t spoken all along, his gaze unfocused, seemingly sensing something.

Then, his eyes widened slightly: ”My ability, it seems I can sense further now...”

”Your ability?” Lou Fei’Er turned to look at him, ”That ability to sense surroundings through plants?”

”Exactly, it used to be a range of only three hundred meters, now... it seems to have increased to five hundred meters?” Qin Fu’s eyes lit up, ”Wow, these pills are really good.”

Xu Xin slightly frowned.

A mutation pill, with such an enhancement?

Based on Lou Fei’Er, Ma Hongwei, and this time Zeng Tao’s situation, plus his understanding of mutated creatures, he’s able to infer some situations.

Mutated creatures are those with very strong physical abilities but very weak Spiritual Power, very easy to control.

But this guy, actually enhanced his Spiritual Power?

Can it be like this?

”Are you sure it’s Spiritual Power?” Xu Xin frowned, looking at him.

”Of course, what benefit would lying bring me right now?” Qin Fu shrugged, ”Aren’t you going to sign a contract with me soon?”

If it’s Spiritual Power that’s enhanced...

”Then you should mutate now. Lou Fei’Er, keep an eye on him.”

”Okay!” Lou Fei’Er cracked her fingers, keeping her eyes on him.

”Hey, hey, is this necessary?” Qin Fu looked at Xu Xin, whose gaze carried a hint of suspicion towards him, and Lou Fei’Er, who didn’t seem very kind-hearted, he shook his head helplessly, ”Fine, I’ll do it.”

As soon as he said this, two blood patterns immediately crawled up his face.

At the same time, his pupils turned blood-red.

”Huh? Mutation complete? So fast. Yeah... the mind is indeed much clearer.” He looked at his hands and rolled up his sleeves, ”Honestly, these blood patterns are kinda cool, feel like... tattoos? Something like, uh... leopard spots?”

Xu Xin and Lou Fei’Er were both taken aback.

He can actually maintain his consciousness after mutation!

Is this guy... really with enhanced Spiritual Power?

This...

Xu Xin pondered.

Could his previous assumptions be wrong?

Mutated creatures, not just stronger physical abilities and weaker Spiritual Power?

Could it also be that the Spiritual Power is enhanced?

In his mind, the images of those fluffy creatures flashed by.

It really seems possible there are such types.

Those fluffy creatures, aren’t they possibly like that?

Their personal prowess isn’t strong, but they can control other surrounding mutated creatures.

He suddenly thought of some zombie novels he had read back on Earth.

In mutated zombies, most had enhanced bodily capabilities, some becoming very strong, some able to climb walls, some with amazing jumping power, some with long tongues capable of wrapping around a person’s body to strangle them to death.

In short, possessing all kinds of physical capabilities.

But there were also some zombies that gained powerful Spiritual Power, capable of controlling other zombies.

Their appearance generally took the form of big-headed baby dolls, and the main body usually wasn’t strong.

Perhaps, Qin Fu’s mutation, is such a situation?

He scrutinized Qin Fu’s head.

Luckily, it hadn’t grown bigger.

Speaking of which, these two blood patterns on a man’s face actually don’t look bad at all.

”Is it really possible for Spiritual Power to be enhanced?” Lou Fei’Er muttered, looking at Qin Fu somewhat enviously, ”Doesn’t that mean, all my worries, aren’t even worries for him?”
