Starting Off Survival With A Small Treehouse

Chapter 556: Chapter 377 Personnel Allocation Completed!

Ma Hongwei was no longer in the treehouse at the moment, as he saw another survivor outside and went down to meet them.

Xu Xin then informed these survivors of the exploration team’s respective division of tasks, letting them discuss it among themselves first. He had a preference.

Among those present, some were silent, while others began to discuss seriously.

Once a parasitic treehouse is planted, it cannot be transplanted, so this matter requires careful consideration.

”Why doesn’t Brother Xin want people...” someone sighed.

That’s right, Xu Xin had just explicitly told them that he didn’t want people.

He had just inquired, and found none of these people had any special abilities.

Moreover, he didn’t particularly need help from others here.

If they came to him, they might as well go and mine for Li Wenxi.

However, just because he didn’t need help didn’t mean Ma Hongwei didn’t need it.

Ma Hongwei also possessed special abilities.

Hence, he suggested to the others that they could choose Ma Hongwei.

Of course, this was just his inclination; ultimately, it depended on what others wanted and how many they wanted.

”Then follow Brother Wei! Brother Wei is parasitic to Brother Xin here; following Brother Wei is equivalent to following Brother Xin!”

”Follow Brother Wei to be a treehouse exterior weapons engineer! Sounds so powerful!”

At this moment, Ma Hongwei brought another newcomer up.

With him also came Ji Chaoyang.

Among those in the house, some were saved by Ji Chaoyang’s remarkable skills, so they naturally recognized him immediately.

”Ji Chaoyang the master!”

”Both the world’s number one and number two masters are just a few meters away from me! I’m going to faint...”

”I want to hang around with Ji Chaoyang the master!”

Ji Chaoyang nodded to everyone, then walked over to Xu Xin: ”What’s the situation now?”

Xu Xin explained to him in detail.

”Lou Fei’Er is unconscious...” Ji Chaoyang furrowed his brow, ”This situation is really too peculiar.”

Xu Xin interrupted his thoughts, asking, ”Do you want people?”

Around Ji Chaoyang’s treehouse, until now, no survivor had parasitized it.

He nodded: ”I want some. I need people to watch over the place, and they can enhance my prophecy ability. The more people parasitic to my side, the more prophecy rooms established, the longer my prophecy duration will be.”

Although there were no parasitic people on his side, there were a few empty parasitic treehouses.

To test the function of the parasites, he let Qi Xuefei hold one treehouse on his side.

Then he discovered that his prophecy time surprisingly increased by several seconds.

”The parasites should help alleviate some of the spiritual power consumption,” he speculated.

So that’s how it is!

If that’s the case, he indeed needed manpower there.

He then asked about Ma Hongwei’s ideas.

”...I can allocate a portion of my research ability to people,” Ma Hongwei thought, ”Perhaps I can establish a research team.”

That sounds good!

A research team sounds strong.

Ji Chaoyang was already chatting with the survivors.

He began asking what skills the current survivors in the room had and then gave suggestions, almost like a mentor.

Xu Xin contacted other explorers in the team.

Wen Guixin now had a total of 35 survivors who sought refuge.

Wen Guixin: ”Hurry up and come over, Xu Xin, there are too many people here, all under my treehouse, I’m too scared to go down! These people, I clearly told them my abilities, yet they aren’t afraid and just want to gather around me, really...”

Li Wenxi: ”I already returned to the treehouse, is it over? Just now, I saw a survivor passing by from District 188 come over, so I intercepted them, hehe! I’ll head over now!”

Wang Lei: ”Haha, it’s so lively, really lively! These people speak so nicely, I feel like I’m floating!”

Zhao Xiaochuan: ”I’ve already set my eyes on a few people, Brother Xin, hurry up and give them teleport wristbands!”

Qin Yunlong: ”There are actually many people who are good swimmers, not bad, not bad.”

Xu Xin: ”There are many people on my side, you should come over and select people first.”

He and Ji Chaoyang arrived at the room of Lou Fei’Er and Qi Xuefei.

Lou Fei’Er was still in a coma, while Qi Xuefei sat beside her.

Keke jumped down from Xu Xin’s shoulder and leapt to Lou Fei’Er’s side, gently nudging Lou Fei’Er’s face with its little paws.

”Whimper...” Its call held some worry.

”How is she?” Xu Xin asked.

”Hmm...” Qi Xuefei furrowed her brow, stood up, ”Her body doesn’t have a single wound, not to mention her outfit doesn’t have scratches, with no signs of combat. I guess it’s a mental trauma; it should be a mental shock.”

Mental shock?

Xu Xin and Ji Chaoyang exchanged glances.

They both thought of when Lou Fei’Er, at the snow-capped summit, was almost critically affected by the spiritual shock of the purple-black light, nearly dying. If Xu Xin hadn’t immediately put her into the wristband, she could have entered an explosive mode right then.

This indeed could be a mental trauma!

”Is there a way to help her recover?” Xu Xin asked.

Qi Xuefei gently shook her head: ”I tried making her eat a blue-grade orange just now, but it was ineffective. I have no pills to restore spiritual power.”

She turned to look at Xu Xin: ”However, perhaps you can do it.”

”Me?” Xu Xin was slightly taken aback, then brightened, ”You mean, the spirit potion?”
