Berserk God of War

Chapter 843: Chapter 843: Acquiring the Spirit Sword, Cheating to Pass

Inside the Domineering Pattern Array.

Chou Zhan ignored them. He looked at Sikong Jing beside him and said softly, ”Brother Sikong, I think the only way to defeat the Illusion Beast ahead is to unleash the power of the War Body, but I still have no confidence for the last one.”

Upon hearing this, Sikong Jing turned his head to look at him and smiled lightly, ”Brother Chou, you should temporarily avoid using Combat Body Power.”

”Hang in there; once I acquire the sword, I’ll come to help you pass.”

At these words, Chou Zhan was dumbfounded.

Sikong Jing said he would go acquire the sword and could help him pass — how was that possible?

He seemed relaxed, but he didn’t appear capable of defeating the penultimate Illusion Beast.

While Chou Zhan was puzzled and while the whole audience was practically shouting at them not to waste time, a subtle gleam flashed in Sikong Jing’s eyes.

Of course he could defeat the penultimate Illusion Beast, and he even had confidence for the last one.

But now, he didn’t want to fully reveal his combat power and instead planned to use the Soldier Killing Array method to break the Domineering Pattern Array.

All eyes were on Sikong Jing, who gently delivered a palm strike...

This palm seemed to use almost no strength, and then the strong Illusion Beast in front of him suddenly let out a miserable cry and vanished.

”Hmm?”

In that instant, lazy Yao Yuzhi leaning against a window couldn’t help but straighten up and voiced her confusion.

”What happened?” The loud and shouting crowd suddenly froze.

They stared at Sikong Jing in bewilderment, exchanging looks. Someone murmured, ”How did he just eliminate the penultimate Illusion Beast? What Secret Technique did he just use with that palm strike?”

At the fall of those words, one Decision Maker quietly replied, ”I don’t know. Didn’t see clearly, but it’s certainly an extremely strange Secret Technique.”

Ju Hua’s eyes flickered coldly, letting out a cold snort, ”No matter how powerful, the Secret Technique can’t possibly fight the last Illusion Warrior; his luck will soon run out. Let’s watch.”

This sentiment was affirmed by most people.

No matter how strong a Secret Technique is, it cannot triumph unless there is enough inherent strength, and Sikong Jing’s power in the Fifth Realm of Dao Inquiry is impossible.

The crowd watched Sikong Jing’s back, as he gracefully reached the final stage. An Illusion Warrior appeared... Yet Sikong Jing smiled slightly and once again delivered a light palm strike.

Poof...

A soft sound, the Illusion Warrior disintegrated upon formation completely vanished, and Sikong Jing gently passed through the dissipated illusion and appeared behind the Domineering Pattern Array the next moment, he grasped the floating sword.

Lower Spirit Grade sword, easily obtained.

The sword was entirely icy blue in color, seemingly ordinary but turning crystal clear and bright once Sikong Jing infused it with True Qi.

At this moment, the crowd fell silent, staring in disbelief at Sikong Jing — had he actually passed?

The crowd then looked at Ju Dan; his luck seemed not to have run out yet.

The next instant, the audience reacted, erupting in noise.

”Impossible, what’s going on?”

”No matter how powerful the Secret Technique, it can’t possibly disintegrate the final Illusion Warrior.”

”Right, this has got to be cheating, hasn’t it?”

Voices kept rising, and soon all eyes were on the two Judgers present, who also exchanged puzzled looks, completely unable to understand what Sikong Jing had just done.

Only Lang Zhengzhi wore a sneer at the corner of his mouth.

What nonsense Secret Technique? This was the mystery of the Soldier Killing Array; Sikong Jing deciphered the Soldier Killing Array concealed within the Domineering Pattern Array.

”Brother Chou, now I’m helping you pass.”

And at the moment when the whole crowd was astounded, Sikong Jing’s voice resounded throughout the grand hall.

He was seen holding the icy blue sword, stepping back to the edge of the Domineering Pattern Array, then gently stepping onto it, and the Illusion Beast battling Chou Zhan vanished with a ”poof”.

The next moment, Chou Zhan, with a face full of confusion, moved forward as the final Illusion Warrior appeared.

Yet Sikong Jing stepped again.

The Illusion Warrior similarly vanished, allowing Chou Zhan to smoothly leave the Domineering Pattern Array and grasp the final sword, looking at Sikong Jing with a gaze full of shock and gratitude.

Everything was done effortlessly, everything was unhurried.

In the tranquil aftermath, the audience stared incredulously at the two figures behind the Domineering Pattern Array, until Ju Dan finally roared, ”Supreme Judge Lord Yao... This is cheating, certainly cheating — hurry up and deal with these two beasts.”

If one can even help another pass, isn’t that cheating?

Yao Yuzhi at the palace’s second-floor window, of course, heard Ju Dan’s voice.

But she continued to calmly stare in Sikong Jing’s direction, finally turning to look at the equally bewildered Hua Meixi beside her, slowly saying, ”You’re right, that one-armed boy is truly quite infuriating.”

Just before, Yao Yuzhi had confidently proclaimed that no one from the Northern region could pass and obtain the sword, yet Sikong Jing had done so with ease.

Even breaking the rules to help another pass.

Hua Meixi frowned, asking ”Aunt Yao, how did he manage it?”

Eyes flashing with intense brilliance, Yao Yuzhi replied, ”The Domineering Pattern Array is constructed based on the Soldier Killing Array. He was observing it from the beginning and step by step found vulnerabilities in the Domineering Pattern Array during the challenge, thereby breaking the Array.”

”Little Meixi, before you said his Military Talent was strong, I didn’t quite believe it, but now... I believe.”

Having said that, Yao Yuzhi turned. She must go down to handle the situation.

At present, the scene was getting crazier, with more and more people shouting about Sikong Jing cheating.

The two Judgers could only reassure everyone that Lord Yao would arrive shortly to provide a clear explanation.

The Domineering Pattern Array was devised by Yao Yuzhi, and even they couldn’t quite understand what Sikong Jing had done.

”Everyone calm down,”

Finally, Yao Yuzhi’s voice sounded.

And then she emerged from the darkness. After the crowd fell silent, she coolly stated, ”Indeed, both Northern individuals cheated.”

At this, Lang Zhengzhi was greatly shaken, Elder Mo and several others exchanged worried looks, silently thinking things had gone bad.

The rest exhaled deeply, staring in amusement towards Sikong Jing and Chou Zhan, even Ju Hua said, ”Sikong the little beast, you’re about to have bad luck, but I’ll plead for you, haha...”

Previously displeased to the extreme, yet now he was gleeful, not wanting to see Sikong Jing punished by Yao Yuzhi, only hoping Sikong Jing could participate in the subsequent battles...

Otherwise, he couldn’t kill him personally, which would be rather uninteresting.

”Shut up, who allowed you to interrupt?”

However, Ju Hua’s smug laughter was heavily silenced by Yao Yuzhi, leaving Ju Hua’s mind buzzing, hastily quiet.

The crowd equally dared not make any further noise.

Next, Yao Yuzhi slowly swept across them: ”Although they cheated, they did pass successfully!”

At this, silence briefly befell the crowd.

Then another uproar ensued, Ju Hua couldn’t help but shout, ”Why? We don’t accept this!”

Yao Yuzhi coldly surveyed everyone, offering a calm explanation, ”Sikong Jing broke the rules of the Domineering Pattern Array, and I hadn’t stated that breaking it was forbidden before, thus their passage naturally counts...”

Everyone’s mouths gaped open, eyes filled with dissatisfaction.
