Berserk God of War

Chapter 841: Chapter 841: Sikong Jing, Appears to Seize the Sword

Upon hearing this question, Hua Meixi’s expression slightly hardened, and she quickly said, ”I keep my promises; if I said I’d help, I definitely will.”

”Moreover, he even offered the Blood Refining Soldier Killing Map, which might help the Venerable behind us strike against Ba Lie Venerable...”

As she spoke, she noticed Yao Yuzhi’s strange gaze and somewhat vaguely and awkwardly said, ”Although he is detestable, he’s not quite a villain... Aunt Yao, do you have any other methods?”

Having finally found a reason for her previous description of ”detestable,” Hua Meixi insisted on helping Sikong Jing.

Yao Yuzhi was momentarily stunned upon hearing this, then laughed lightly and said, ”Let’s discuss this after he survives the nomination battle; if he dies, it’ll save us trouble.”

Then, she started to scrutinize Hua Meixi from head to toe.

The latter felt a tingling sensation all over her body and angrily asked, ”Aunt Yao, why are you looking at me like that?”

With a cheerful smile, Yao Yuzhi replied, ”It’s the first time I’ve seen the Demon Charm Battle Body display such charm; Aunt Yao is moved.”

Hua Meixi gaped and couldn’t help but retort, ”Aunt Yao, you’re teasing me again.”

Yao Yuzhi shrugged and stopped joking.

She knew very well that while Hua Meixi appeared strong, she was actually sensitive and fragile. If she kept teasing her with words that contradicted her true feelings, it would make Hua Meixi angry and ashamed... And the contradiction was, Hua Meixi wasn’t truly hateful towards Sikong Jing.

Something unknown had occurred that made her care about Sikong Jing.

Suddenly, Yao Yuzhi turned to look inside the grand hall at Hua Lidian, her expression turning slightly cold, ”Meixi, why help this wretched man? Have you forgotten he almost got you and your mother killed?”

This statement caused Hua Meixi’s face to tense, biting her lip tightly, ”I don’t know either, maybe it’s because of the blood ties.”

Sigh...

Yao Yuzhi sighed softly and said no more, and Hua Meixi silently watched the Domineering Pattern Array challenge below.

As for the specific relationship between the two, only they were aware for the moment.

Soon, the West Land’s sword-snatching battle ended, just as Sikong Jing had said, Ju Hua and others only captured four swords, and when they withdrew from the Domineering Pattern Array, one by one, their faces were ashen.

They had boasted too much earlier, claiming they would intentionally leave three swords for others to snatch. Now, their words came back to bite them.

”I did it on purpose, four swords are enough for us.”

Faced with the mocking gazes from the other three lands, Ju Hua could only pretend to be full of confidence.

Unfortunately, the mocking voices around did not decrease, instead, they grew louder.

Seeing this, Ju Hua’s heart was filled with anger, ”When the real battle begins, I will definitely kill you all.”

And when no one was paying attention anymore... Slap! Slap!

With two heavy slaps, Ju Hua viciously struck two geniuses at the Golden Body Realm from the West Land, sinisterly saying, ”Trash, you embarrassed me and my grandmother.”

The two West Land Golden Body Realm geniuses didn’t even dare to cover their faces and lowered their heads deeply.

”Haha, now it’s our Southern Land’s turn. We won’t say how many swords we will capture to avoid getting slapped in the face.” Next moment, Wang He laughed heartily, and then eighteen geniuses from the Southern Land stepped forward to challenge.

After a round, the Southern Land only captured two swords.

One belonged to Wang He, and the other to another Martial Arts Genius from the Southern Land.

But it was evident the two were not aligned and were in opposition.

Three swords were left for the East Land and Northern Land to compete for, and the East Land immediately stepped forward to challenge...

Eventually, the East Land only captured one sword.

So there were still two swords left, and if the Northern Land could claim them both, they’d surpass the East Land and be on par with the Southern Land.

Upon seeing this, Ju Dan sneered and said, ”Impossible, the Northern Land can’t even hope to capture one sword.”

After witnessing the challenges from the first three lands, they understood the Domineering Pattern Array well, and below the Golden Body Realm, there was no chance to capture a sword.

Even at the Golden Body First Realm, it was impossible.

Then, Elder Yin looked at the male Judger, asking, ”If the Northern Land fails to capture a sword, and two remain, can our three lands compete again?”

All the individuals from the three lands turned to look at the two Judgers.

One of the Judgers calmly replied, ”No, the sword-snatching battle only occurs once. If swords are left over, it means you are not worthy of the first reward; only seven swords will be part of the second battle.”

Upon hearing this, Elder Yin nodded and stepped back. The crowd then focused on the Northern Land geniuses.

As the Judgers announced their turn, one by one, they approached the edge of the Domineering Pattern Array, and at this moment, a mocking voice rang out, ”Sikong Jing, if you cut off your other hand now, I’ll give you a sword, how about that?”

The one speaking was naturally Ju Hua...

Hearing this, everyone from the West Land erupted in laughter, and someone chimed in, ”If he agrees, he won’t have hands left, what’s the use of a sword then?”

”Hehe, perhaps this guy has a unique talent, able to wield a sword out of thin air?”

Yet another genius from the West Land taunted shamelessly, filled with disdain for the one-armed Sikong Jing.

Ju Hua raised his hand to quiet the crowd, continuing to mock, ”Sikong Jing, say something, do you want the sword or not?”

Saying this, Ju Hua shook the Lower Spirit Grade sword in his hand.

At this moment, everyone focused on Sikong Jing, whispering amongst themselves, and some uninformed were asking why the supposedly exceptional genius Ju Hua targeted this ordinary one-armed young man?

Upon learning that Sikong Jing had killed Ju Dan’s daughter, they couldn’t help but widen their eyes.

Most looked at him as if he was doomed, realizing how significant Ju Dan’s achievements were and how powerful her background was.

For the one-armed youth from the Northern Land to survive after killing her daughter was nothing short of a miracle.

”The one-armed youth, what realm is he at?” someone asked.

Currently, Sikong Jing was hiding his entire aura, so even the highest Decision Makers from the various lands couldn’t discern it, merely responding, ”We don’t know yet, we’ll see during the challenge.”

The crowd nodded; once he challenged the Domineering Pattern Array, his realm’s aura would inevitably be revealed.

Facing Ju Hua’s provocation, Sikong Jing calmly replied, ”Of course I want it. When I killed Ren Dongmeng, I couldn’t take anything because of the Overlord Commerce’s rules. But when I kill you... surely I can take your sword.”

With that, Sikong Jing stepped into the Domineering Pattern Array at the Judger’s command.

His words struck everyone present... making Ju Hua’s face instantly darken.

Ju Dan nearly exploded again. This damn brat kept mentioning her daughter Ren Dongmeng’s death every time he opened his mouth. It was infuriating.

”I must torture this little brat for forty-nine days before killing him, aargh!” Ju Dan roared repeatedly.

The others paid her no heed, focussing instead on the sword-snatching battle of the East Plain Northern Land.

Roar...

As with the previous three times, as soon as the eighteen individuals stepped in, demon beasts appeared in Illusion Beast form.

Because of Sikong Jing’s participation, nearly everyone’s gaze was on him. However, at that moment... Ah!

A tragic cry echoed, as a figure was blasted out from the Domineering Pattern Array, turning out to be Nu Guang from the Cross Saber Sect.

In an instant, he was eliminated!

Nu Guang became the first in the scene to fail against even a single Illusion Beast.

All eyes immediately shifted back, looking at the utterly embarrassed Nu Guang, followed by, ”Hahahahaha...”

The entire crowd burst into laughter, each pointing at Nu Guang and then at Elder Mo and the Five Elders, laughing until tears came, and the highest Decision Maker from the East Land laughed heartily, ”Elder Mo, are you guys here to be comedians?”
