Berserk God of War

Chapter 821: Chapter 821: Too Discouraging

His words were logical; mainly, if the Blood Refining Ancestor wasn’t chasing Su Old Demon, he wouldn’t have come to the East Plain Northern Land.

In fact, Sikong Jing had another truth left unsaid.

The reason why he used the Blood Refining Soldier Killing Formation immaturely was simply because he didn’t like it; it was too evil. He mainly focused on cultivating the... Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map.

It’s just that the latter is too formidable and sensitive, and cannot be shown to anyone, let alone given to the East Dominator Branch.

Hua Meixi’s fists clenched tightly. She really didn’t want to believe Sikong Jing’s words, but couldn’t find any way to refute them.

Yet, it was so frustrating!

She had been involved with the Soldier Killing Formation for several years, and could never grasp the key points...

While Sikong Jing said he learned it in less than four months, and his opponents also learned it in a short time. Is there no justice?

At this moment, Sikong Jing seemed to understand something, and suddenly said sincerely: ”Captain Hua, can’t you learn the Soldier Killing Formation?”

”No problem, I can teach you... no wait, we can exchange ideas, maybe I can give you some pointers.” Sikong Jing finally felt that the word ”teach” might not be very good; it could easily offend the proud Hua Meixi.

For the sake of Hua Lidian’s reputation, saying ’exchange’ makes it easier for the other party to accept.

However, as the words fell, the anger and resentment in Hua Meixi’s heart were ignited, her eyes suddenly turned red.

Hua Lidian noticed something was wrong, hurriedly stood up, and said, ”Meixi...”

”Shut up.”

Hua Meixi’s temper flared up immediately; she directed at Sikong Jing and said, ”Do I need you to teach me? What do you think you are? Even if you learned the Soldier Killing Formation first, so what? There are many who surpass those who came before.”

It’s too infuriating; the dignified captain of the Domineering Furious Flower Team was preached about the Soldier Killing Formation by a mere figure from the East Plain Northern Land.

”Well, I just said exchange ideas, right?” Sikong Jing said somewhat speechlessly.

Although he tried to retract it, the word ”teach” still reached Hua Meixi’s ears.

Suppressing her anger, Hua Meixi shouted again: ”You aren’t qualified to exchange ideas either; with your wilderness-born methods, there’s still a lot you need to study. I fear you can’t grasp even half the basics of the Soldier Killing Formation, right?”

Saying this, Hua Meixi suddenly took out a Black Jade Array Diagram, infusing it with True Qi.

Instantly, the Black Jade Array Diagram turned into a pattern like scattered stars, displaying various formations.

After fixing it, Hua Meixi glared at Sikong Jing and said, ”This is one of the assessment contents for Soldier Formation Masters on the Central Plains. If you can point out several mistake points in this array diagram, I concede defeat.”

As she spoke, Hua Meixi stared fixedly at Sikong Jing, slightly raising her eyebrows.

Sikong Jing, born from the wild path, had a lot to learn before he could become a true Soldier Formation Master. In the Central Plains, not only were Soldier Killing Maps rare, but Soldier Formation Masters were also very rare.

To truly master and flexibly apply the Soldier Killing Formation is not so easy.

Of course, there were also quite a few like Sikong Jing who hadn’t learned the basics but mastered some sort of Soldier Killing Formation directly. Yet, those who remain arrogant and don’t repeatedly study the basics will just be eliminated.

At most, they can only rely on talent to master one type of Soldier Killing Formation.

And they can only grasp the weakest level of that Soldier Killing Formation.

In short, Hua Meixi was irritated by Sikong Jing’s presumptuousness, so she wanted to use the Central Plains assessment content to strike him down hard.

To make him realize he couldn’t teach her, even if he had mastered one type of Soldier Killing Formation, it wouldn’t work.

”Nine mistakes.”

While Hua Meixi was thinking Sikong Jing couldn’t manage this and would definitely lose himself in this Soldier Killing Formation assessment...

Sikong Jing didn’t even blink and gave the answer directly.

Almost, Hua Meixi nearly lost her balance, blushing as she stared at Sikong Jing and questioned, ”You, guessed blindly, didn’t you?”

Sikong Jing unexpectedly got it right without even having to think; he was definitely guessing blindly.

Blinking, Sikong Jing stepped forward again and pointed with True Qi towards the complex star points on the Soldier Killing Assessment Map, pinpointing one point and drawing a cross from thin air, then proceeded to the second point...

Repeatedly doing so for nine points, he replied again: ”There are nine mistakes, no doubt about it.”

Hua Meixi’s mouth hung open, staring blankly at Sikong Jing. All nine mistakes were crossed correctly...

And these were mistakes she had spent several months figuring out, ready to submit to her mentor once she returned to the Batian Branch.

It was her proudest assessment content, sure to earn her mentor’s praise.

Yet Sikong Jing managed it in a flash. How was this possible?

”Actually, these nine mistake points have a correct method.”

Before Hua Meixi could react, Sikong Jing discovered that the Soldier Killing Assessment Map allowed the moving of star points. So he repositioned the nine mistaken star points to the correct places.

After adjusting, Sikong Jing explained contentedly: ”Actually, these nine mistake points are to confuse the examiner. By relocating the soldier types to the correct positions within, you can truly unleash the Soldier Killing Formation’s power.”

”Look at this lineup; the Soldier Killing Formation within the assessment map can exert two hundred percent of its power.”

As he spoke, the Soldier Killing Assessment Map began operating, with various starlights flashing continuously.

Clearly, Sikong Jing had provided the most accurate answer, making the star points on the map shine brightly.

”Hmm, this Soldier Killing Assessment Map is quite easy...”

Sikong Jing suddenly said and casually asked, ”Captain Hua, is this the entry-level assessment for Soldier Formation Masters?”

He was very curious about the Central Plains and this occupation of Soldier Formation Master, so he specially added a question.

Only after the question was raised, did he receive no reply from Hua Meixi.

Her face turned ever redder, almost flushing to her earlobes; the seductive charm on her face became even more apparent.

Even Sikong Jing couldn’t help his heart from wavering, yet he immediately concentrated and was righteously puzzled.

Opposite, Hua Meixi felt waves churn in her heart; where was this an entry-level assessment? It was a pre-final exam question; success would lead to participation in the final assessment...

Yet Sikong Jing’s question struck too hard; he succeeded without even having to think.

”Impossible; he is surely a blind cat catching a dead rat, or something similar exists within the Blood Refining Soldier Killing Formation.”

”I just don’t believe it.”

Thinking this, Hua Meixi did not answer Sikong Jing as to whether this was an entry-level assessment.

Instead, she quickly withdrew the Black Jade Soldier Killing Assessment Map and drew out a second one, saying coldly: ”If you can also organize this second Soldier Killing Assessment Map, then you’re formidable!”

With that, she pointed to the second Soldier Killing Assessment Map... buzz!

This time, what was displayed before Sikong Jing was a chaotic and disordered array of star points and soldier points...

Sikong Jing didn’t pursue the entry-level question further but looked very seriously.

He was extremely interested in the Soldier Killing Map.

Under Hua Meixi’s watchful gaze, Sikong Jing thought for about half a moment and then began working, moving the star points with True Qi. After another moment, the star points were completely sorted.

This second Soldier Killing Assessment Map was now organized, even Hua Lidian observed with some amazement...

Yet in the next moment, Hua Meixi couldn’t help laughing and heavily remarked: ”Wrong!”
