Berserk God of War

Chapter 818: Chapter 818: Geniuses, United in Opposition

”The top ten remain unchanged, while the others will assemble twenty people to compete for the final eight spots.”

At this point, Elder Mo first asked the top ten to line up...

First is Chou Zhan, second Guo Zixia, third Fu Jiaoxing, fourth Shang Fu, fifth another genius from Heavenly Dao Academy, sixth Ling Feiyan... ninth is Sikong Jing.

At this moment, Elder Mo suddenly realized and asked, ”Sikong Jing, where is your sister Wang Ge?”

So many things had happened, and it wasn’t until the lineup that Elder Mo and others noticed that Sikong Jing’s sister didn’t show up.

”She won’t come.”

Sikong Jing’s tone was flat, without much explanation, and Elder Mo certainly didn’t probe further, just nodding, ”Since Wang Ge hasn’t come, you can now compete for nine spots.”

This was naturally a great thing for everyone.

Because Wang Ge from Wangyou Sect didn’t come, they could fight for an extra tenth spot.

Suddenly, a sinister voice rang out, ”Wait a minute, I don’t think Sikong Jing should be in the ninth position.”

As soon as these words were uttered, everyone’s eyes turned, and it was the incredibly disheveled Tian Budian once again.

This guy’s face was swollen from being slapped, yet he still dared to target Sikong Jing?

”Don’t look at me like that, I’m a Deacon of Overlord Commerce, I won’t harbor personal grudges.”

Tian Budian uttered words that no one believed even half a syllable...

”I just think, Sikong Jing lost an arm, why should he still be in the ninth position? The quota battle of Overlord Commerce is not a riding battle, being invincible in riding battles is useless, nor is it a Military Dao battle, being strong in military battles is also useless.”

”The quota battle tests one’s own combat strength, so Sikong Jing should participate in the selection.”

With this said, Tian Budian raised his head, puffed out his chest, and sneered repeatedly.

Even though you have temporarily cleansed your criminal charges and can participate in the quota battle now, and might even receive attention from the East Dominator Branch, yet I’m just annoyed with you, I just want to disgust you.

Losing an arm, you might not even make it to the top eighteen.

Thinking of this, Tian Budian chuckled looking at Guo Zixia and others, shouldn’t you thank me right away for removing Sikong Jing as your opponent? Maybe one of your students can fill the spot.

However, the entire venue was silent, everyone stared at Tian Budian as if he were an idiot.

Even Sikong Jing was stunned, after a while, he couldn’t help but laugh, ”Quite right, losing an arm definitely doesn’t deserve the ninth rank...”

”I object...”

Before finishing, Shang Fu was the first to jump out, shouting, ”Even though Sikong Jing lost an arm, he’s barely able to rank ninth, even if we’re enemies, we can’t be so biased.”

Ugh...

Upon hearing this, Tian Budian was dumbfounded, what’s Shang Fu up to? Speaking for him yet not appreciated?

Shang Fu, not like an upright person.

”I also object, not because Sikong Jing is so formidable, but because I want to defeat him fairly, not appear to bully him for losing an arm.” Guo Zixia also voiced firmly.

Tian Budian was again dazed, are these geniuses from the two major academies out of their mind?

At this moment, he instinctively looked at Fu Jiaoxing, who resolutely said, ”Of course I object, if Sikong Jing can’t participate in the East Plain Four Regions’ quota battle, how am I supposed to kill him?”

Utterly bewildered, Tian Budian wondered if the three geniuses had all been terrified by Sikong Jing’s recent Soldier Killing Array?

However, the three at this moment cursed inwardly, isn’t Sikong Jing formidable, you, as a Deacon, don’t know? Didn’t you know he had already fought and beaten people at the banquet before?

If you let him join the upcoming competition for nine spots, surely he’d slaughter the students from the three great academies.

Tian Budian, which side are you really on?

And Tian Budian truly didn’t know about the banquet incident, as he’s been busy communicating with Ju Dan these days, and with people like Deacon Luo and Deacon Huang uncertain about future developments, they hadn’t come close to him.

Thus, no one told him.

Tian Budian thought Sikong Jing’s combat strength vastly dropped after losing an arm!

Elder Mo gazed at the people from the three great academies with a half-amused expression, then coldly stared at Tian Budian, ”Look at how our East Plain Northern Land’s geniuses are magnanimous, get down here, stop embarrassing yourself.”

A group of geniuses inwardly cursed, we have no magnanimity, we wish desperately to destroy Sikong Jing.

Tian Budian was scolded into bewilderment, with various crazy thoughts: you bastards, all targeting me, wait until I hook up with Ju Dan, see how I’ll deal with you.

The farce caused by Tian Budian ended here, with Sikong Jing, under the passionate support of the geniuses, continuing his ninth ranking.

Then, among the top fifty, twenty people were assembled to begin vying for the last nine spots.

And the first match drawn turned out to be between Gongyang Ying, currently ranked 26, and Nu Guang, ranked 17.

”Gongyang Ying, didn’t expect my first opponent to be you, I will strip you clean.” Nu Guang flashed a Cross Saber, coldly staring at Gongyang Ying with murderous intent rolling.

Gongyang Ying glanced at Sikong Jing watching beside him, took a deep breath, ”Your Cross Saber Sect is all garbage.”

With that, Gongyang Ying thunderously attacked, and after a hundred rounds... slap.

Gongyang Ying savagely slapped Nu Guang’s face, then brutally stepped on him, winning the first match violently under the gaze of many martial arts geniuses.

Next, Gongyang Ying continued to display formidable strength, achieving consecutive victories.

In the geniuses’ successive battles, time gradually passed, and it was finally Gongyang Ying’s turn again.

This was her third to last match, just one win would secure her a spot...

At this point, Ling Feiyan suddenly stepped forward, ”Ah Ying, your next opponent is from Xingluo Academy, you should lose this match.”

Upon hearing this, Gongyang Ying slightly raised her brows, without replying, she walked towards the stage.

”Gongyang Ying, what’s your attitude?”

Seeing this, Ling Feiyan sternly shouted from behind, ”If you dare not lose, you’re an enemy of Xingluo Academy.”

Lightly leaping onto the stage, Gongyang Ying stood holding her sword, her voice cold, ”Then let it be an enemy.”

With nothing left to say to Ling Feiyan anymore, her previous attitude chilled Gongyang Ying, and she didn’t owe Ling Feiyan anything, but rather her master owed her grandfather...

After saying this, Gongyang Ying killed out, transforming into moonlit sword light, attacking the opposing Xingluo Academy student.

Xingluo Academy, not one is good.

Moreover, Sikong Jing dared fight and strive in such a dire situation, why shouldn’t I dare?

I, Gongyang Ying, am the Moon Soul Battle Body!

In this battle, Gongyang Ying triumphed without erupting the battle body’s aura, arrogantly stepping off the stage, proudly walking towards Sikong Jing’s direction, just to show him... I also have the courage to defy all.

Ling Feiyan’s fists clenched tightly, hatred surging, ”Gongyang Ying, it turns out you’re hugging Sikong Jing’s thigh, you still dare say you have no connection with him... but you all have to die.”

Hatred made her completely forget her master’s illness, which was cured by Gongyang Ren.
