Berserk God of War

Chapter 838: Chapter 838: Judger, Rules and Rewards

How is Sikong Jing so calm in the face of Ju Hua’s threat, when he’s only at the Fifth Realm of Dao Inquiry?

This made the always aloof Chou Zhan very curious.

Sikong Jing looked at Chou Zhan and said, ”If it were you, Brother Chou, would you be afraid of the Golden Body Fourth Realm?”

Chou Zhan was momentarily stunned, but replied without hesitation, ”Not afraid!”

With a knowing smile, Sikong Jing’s voice suddenly became serious: ”Since we can’t back out, since we must fight, since deep grudges are already formed, then we just do it.”

After a brief pause, Sikong Jing continued, ”But Brother Chou, we should still avoid getting too close, otherwise it might lead to trouble for you.”

As he said this, Sikong Jing turned to Gongyang Ying and said, ”Same goes for you.”

After saying this, Sikong Jing turned and walked deep into the North Courtyard. Originally, he intended to join forces with Chou Zhan and Gongyang Ying for the allocation battle, but now he faces Ju Hua of the Golden Body Fourth Realm, as well as superior-level martial arts geniuses from the West Land.

Sikong Jing doesn’t want to drag anyone down.

Especially since he still doesn’t know the rules of the allocation battle, he should keep a safe distance from them.

Facing the East Plain West Land, Sikong Jing is confident in surviving on his own, but not in ensuring the survival of Chou Zhan and Gongyang Ying. He cannot let them be targeted because of him.

As Elder Yin from Southern Land said, aside from oneself, perhaps others can be looked after.

Watching Sikong Jing’s back, Chou Zhan and Gongyang Ying exchanged glances...

At this moment, Hua Meixi suddenly stepped forward and said to Gongyang Ying, ”You, come with me...”

Gongyang Ying opened his mouth, recalled that Hua Meixi had favored him before, and there must be something important to tell.

Without another word, he quickly followed her.

Meanwhile, Lang Zhengzhi and the Five Elders approached Chou Zhan and asked, ”Chou Zhan, how confident are you in surviving against the Golden Body Fourth Realm?”

In the East Plain Northern Land, Chou Zhan is the only one in the Golden Body Realm.

Chou Zhan looked up and said, ”No confidence at all, but as Brother Sikong said, just do it!”

Upon finishing, he also turned towards the depths of the North Courtyard, where he would continue to strengthen his cultivation.

Elder Mo and the five others exchanged glances, feeling a headache... No allocation battle in the East Plain Northern Land had ever been this difficult. Before, at least there was unity, sometimes one or two could break through, but this time it’s severely divided.

”Sikong Jing, truly a disaster.” Tian Budian added coldly, but laughed nonetheless.

The Five Elders remained silent, having to admit that such a complex situation surely has a lot to do with Sikong Jing.

Time slipped away as they waited...

Guo Zixia returned with the people from the Heavenly Dao Academy, but once back in his resting room, he began smashing things, ending with a sinister, chilling voice: ”Just wait, I’ll be the final winner of the allocation battle.”

Clearly, he suffered great humiliation when seeking out Wang He.

But he still has a trump card, which he plans to use at the crucial moment, to make a remarkable impact.

Fu Jiaoxing and Shang Fu also returned, their faces equally grim, evidently not having much luck either.

Upon returning to their room, Nu Guang asked worriedly, ”West Land looks down on us. Should we ally with East Land instead?”

”Let’s see the allocation battle rules first,” Shang Fu grumbled.

Fu Jiaoxing spoke ominously, ”It’s all Sikong Jing’s fault...”

As everyone harbored their thoughts, night fell, and the summon order from the Supreme Judge of East Plain arrived, directing people from all four regions of East Plain to the center of the Overlord Commerce Manor, where the Judger resides: Ba Long Hall.

Soon, inside Ba Long Hall, four teams were organized, led by the highest decision-makers of each region.

Thud, thud...

Their wait wasn’t long; heavy footsteps echoed.

A middle-aged woman appeared gracefully at the foremost position in Ba Long Hall, accompanied by two middle-aged men behind her.

As she settled in, Elder Mo and Ju Dan, among others, simultaneously bowed and said, ”Greetings to the East Plain Arbitrator.”

Martial arts geniuses looked curiously at the middle-aged woman, who turned out to be the supreme judge of East Plain belonging to Overlord Commerce, surprising everyone as she was female, and they wondered what terrifying realm she might possess.

The middle-aged woman didn’t sit, but swept her gaze over the four teams and said aloud, ”Let me introduce myself. I am Yao Yuzhi, the supreme arbitrator of East Plain, also representing the Minglong Mountain Range.”

”Next, I will explain the rules and rewards for heading to the allocation battle in Central Plains.”

Upon hearing this, nearly everyone became tense, including Elder Mo and others.

The rules of each five-year allocation battle vary, and they don’t know what approach will be used this time.

”Firstly, the rules, I will not be assessing your physique and talent.”

Yao Yuzhi wasted no time, directly stating her point, causing everyone to glance at each other... Usually, an assessment of talent and physique is done first; sometimes, good talent ensures a chance to head to Central Plains.

But this time, Yao Yuzhi chose not to assess...

”Whether you are combatant or non-combatant, I believe in only one statement: The strong rise, the strong survive.”

”The allocation to head to Central Plains this time, eighteen people.”

”Aside from these eighteen, all others shall be eliminated. The eliminated... die!”

Gasp...

Yao Yuzhi’s words were slow and leisurely, but the content caused a chilling gasp to be drawn involuntarily. Even though they know each allocation battle is brutal, it still sends shivers down their spine.

With seventy-two people across four regions combined, three-quarters will die.

Yao Yuji, upon saying this, glanced over the martial arts geniuses from all four regions present, a faint tug on the corner of her mouth: ”Meaning, if a single region possesses absolute crushing power, that region might have all eighteen pass at once.”

As her words fell, the West Land people, led by Ju Hua, raised their heads and puffed their chests with confidence.

Simultaneously, Ju Dan smugly glanced at the top decision-makers from other three regions, knowing Yao Yuzhi’s rules were highly favorable to him.

But it wasn’t clear yet, in which form the battle would take place?

”Next, I’ll take you to the site of the first battle, where the first reward awaits.”

Saying this, Yao Yuzhi slowly turned, followed closely by the two judges.

The four teams quickly followed suit.

Among them, West Land walked at the forefront, followed by Southern Land and East Land, with East Plain Northern Land at the rear.

A quarter of an hour later, they arrived at the second hall behind Ba Long Hall.

Just upon entering, one can feel the strong formation aura.

The second hall was quite vast, yet intersecting patterns emitted various powers, sometimes humanoid phantoms appeared, other times demon beasts formed from the patterns, fierce and domineering.

And at the very back of the hall floated nine swords, emitting piercing cold light.

This time, Yao Yuzhi at the front turned back to explain, ”These nine swords are spiritual weapons, all lower grade spiritual swords.”

”They are your first reward.”

Upon hearing this, every martial arts genius’s pupils contracted, with excitement flashing in their eyes, knowing the weapon grading knowledge of Central Plains; lower Spiritual-grade equates to above Universe Grade.

No matter which land in East Plain, such existence is rare.

Like the Six Symbols Dragon Sword of Long Night Saint Dragon Palace is also a spiritual weapon, perhaps at best middle-level Spirit Grade.
