Chapter 839: Chapter 839: Domineering Pattern Array, Soul Snatching Spiritual Weapon

Just as everyone was getting excited, Yao Yuzhi continued her explanation...

”There are seventy-two of you, but only nine swords. What should you do?”

Upon hearing this, everyone was mentally shaken, and they saw Yao Yuzhi slightly curl the corners of her mouth: ”It’s simple, fight!”

”The battle for the sword is your first conflict. Each of you can challenge the Domineering Pattern Array in front of the nine Spiritual Weapons. As long as you pass through the Domineering Pattern Array, you can seize one of the swords.”

”In this battle, you cannot attack each other; it’s all about snatching the sword.”

With Yao Yuzhi’s words, the eyes of martial arts geniuses sparkled, and their fists were clenched tightly.

They were emitting True Qi, eager to try.

At this point, Yao Yuzhi spoke again, ”Perhaps some of you do not care for this reward, but I can tell you that those who seize a sword will have a very special reward in the second battle, making it easier to pass the trial.”

”The specific rules will be explained after the sword-snatching...”

A few individuals who were initially indifferent to the Lower Spirit Grade swords trembled slightly upon hearing this. Could it really make passing easier?

They suddenly became more enthusiastic.

”Alright, now the eighteen from the East Plain West Land, go first into the battle for the sword.”

Just when others were wondering if there would be other rules, Yao Yuzhi suddenly gave the order.

Everyone widened their eyes and looked in the direction of Ju Dan. Then the Supreme Decision Maker of the East Land came forward, displeased, and asked, ”Lord Yao, why do East Plain West Land get to seize the swords first? Isn’t this too unfair?”

Going first, eighteen geniuses at once; if they seize all nine swords, what are the ones at the back supposed to do?

Even though Elder Yin now harbored fear towards Ju Dan, he nodded heavily, expressing confusion and dissatisfaction. Despite Ju Dan’s deep background, as the Supreme Judge, you can’t be so blatantly biased, can you?

On the surface, the Domineering Commerce has always been very fair.

However, Yao Yuzhi was unfazed as she spoke...

”It’s fair because five years ago, in the last quota battle, West Land had the most quotas for the Central Plains.”

”Next is Southern Land, then East Land, and finally, it’s Northern Land’s turn...”

”If the swords are all snatched first, then the remaining people will end the sword-snatching battle right there. For example, if all nine swords are snatched by the West Land, then apologies to those at the back.”

Aside from people from the East Plain West Land, others were slack-jawed. Wasn’t this too passive?

Yet, they couldn’t say anything in retort because West Land was the first in the quota battle five years ago. Yao Yuzhi’s decision based on this ranking was convincing, though cruel.

Especially the East Plain Northern Land, finishing last five years ago, they probably won’t get even a bit of it this time around.

The expressions of Elder Mo and Guo Zixia, et al., turned incredibly bitter.

They were already the weakest, and now in this first sword-snatching battle, they suffered another fatal blow. It was too cruel.

At this moment, a male Judger standing behind Yao Yuzhi spoke: ”The eighteen geniuses from West Land, step out.”

Suddenly, Ju Hua and others strode forward toward the Domineering Pattern Array.

Simultaneously, an elated Ju Dan pretended and said, ”Xiao Hua, make sure you don’t snatch too fiercely. Leave some soup for those behind, lest they say we in the West Land bullied them too much, hahaha...”

At the end, Ju Dan couldn’t help but laugh heartily, feeling extremely proud.

Meanwhile, she glanced at Yao Yuzhi with a grateful expression, but her eyes carried a slight air of arrogance, as if to say that she and Yao Yuzhi now stood on equal footing, because she had made great contributions.

In Ju Dan’s view, Yao Yuzhi gave enough face to herself by letting their East Plain West Land’s eighteen people go first.

Unfortunately, Yao Yuzhi completely ignored Ju Dan’s gaze...

This made Ju Dan’s expression slightly stiffen, then she suddenly understood that Yao Yuzhi had to maintain outward fairness.

Over there, Ju Hua laughed back, ”Don’t worry, grandma, we’ll definitely leave some for the ones behind.”

Saying this, he extended five fingers, followed by adding another one from the second hand, and proudly said, ”Six swords, we’ll seize six swords, leaving the remaining three for the other three lands — just perfect... hahaha!”

The laughter was full of contempt for the other three lands, making the geniuses from the three lands livid.

Yao Yuzhi’s mouth curved into a slight sneer; who knows what she was thinking... Then her gaze suddenly fell on Sikong Jing, whose expression remained calm and unruffled, and she slightly surveyed him.

At that moment, Sikong Jing seemed to sense something and turned his head, but Yao Yuzhi had already withdrawn her gaze.

With a slight frown, Sikong Jing was sure that Yao Yuzhi had intentionally looked at him just now, but didn’t know why? But he quickly stopped pondering; maybe she was just curious because he only had one arm?

Thinking this, Sikong Jing redirected his gaze towards the Domineering Pattern Array; the battle for the sword was about to begin.

At this moment, the male Judger sternly ordered, ”Enter the Domineering Pattern Array, begin the sword snatching.”

Upon hearing this, Ju Hua waved his hand, and eighteen West Land geniuses stepped into the Domineering Pattern Array simultaneously.

In the next moment... Roar!

The lines suddenly lit up and almost simultaneously condensed eighteen phantom demon beasts, which charged fiercely at the eighteen West Land geniuses. All eighteen also attacked at the same time, fiercely slaying the phantom demon beasts.

Ju Hua easily cut down one, striding forward...

The remaining seventeen also slayed their first beast and pursued, all eighteen passing the first trial without anyone lagging behind.

A few steps later, the second set of phantom demon beasts appeared.

Boom boom boom...

The battle broke out within the Domineering Pattern Array. Elder Yin from Southern Land watched with a cold gleam in his eyes, whispering, ”This batch of West Land geniuses is of exceptionally high quality; they all entered the Dao Inquiry Realm, damn it!”

The Chief of the Southern Heavenly Dao Academy, Wang He, replied coldly and indifferently, ”So what? I don’t expect all eighteen of us to pass; as long as people from our Heavenly Dao Academy pass, that’s enough.”

As he finished, some geniuses from Southern Land looked over, some with murderous intent vividly apparent in their eyes.

Clearly, compared to the West Land, Southern Land wasn’t that united and, like Northern Land, was divided into three or four groups.

In fact, East Plain West Land wasn’t initially this united either, but after Ju Dan’s significant contributions, she became too strong, and since Ju Hua was her grandson, the geniuses had to unite under Ju Hua’s leadership.

Those who weren’t united had already been marginalized or eliminated and didn’t come to participate in the quota battle.

”All in the Dao Inquiry Realm and above, damn it.” In the Northern Land, Elder Ge gritted his teeth.

Tian Budian mocked and said, ”Elder Mo, if you have the chance, maybe you should have a good talk with Elder Ju, kneel down once more for her forgiveness, and finally, cut ties with Hua Meixi.”

”Hua Meixi only reached the Peak of the Martial Battle Realm because she was fortunate enough to grow up in the Central Plains.”

”When Ju Hua arrives in the Central Plains, he might surpass Hua Meixi.”

These words cast a shadow over the faces of the Five Elders, leaving them unable to refute.

What Tian Budian said was not impossible because after completing the quota battle, Ju Dan also would go to work in the Central Plains, and with Ju Hua’s extraordinary talent, becoming a squad captain probably wouldn’t be too difficult.
