From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

Gu Ningzhi had lived for so many years and had always been an atheist. Even though there are many phenomena and things in this world that cannot be explained by science, it is because science hasn’t developed enough to explain them! But now, Gong Yulu’s behavior completely overturned his previous understanding! A vague and terrifying thought formed in his heart... Could the contents of the novel... be true?

”The upcoming plot? You know it?” Gu Ningzhi forced himself to stay calm, staring directly at the other person, not allowing her any deceit or evasion, ”You said earlier that you had already appeared, but I haven’t seen any character named ’Gong Yulu’...”

Gong Yulu let out a chuckle, making Gu Ningzhi feel as if he was being laughed at like a fool... No, this is not an illusion!

”Fool... Since you know there are some unpleasant things between Su Jiameng and me, how can you naively think that I would reveal my true identity? If I say it out loud, I would lose my disguise, right? This ’Gong Yulu’ is just a fake name I casually made up. Do you actually believe it?” Gong Yulu’s blatant disdain in her gaze left Gu Ningzhi feeling somewhat heartbroken to the point of vomiting blood.

Alright, he didn’t think of that, it’s his fault! Gu Ningzhi felt he couldn’t be so weak anymore, always being led by the nose by the other party. Shouldn’t he be the one leading the topic? Thinking so, he seriously asked, ”Then who are you? What’s the plot going forward?”

Gong Yulu suddenly fell silent, her fingertips brushing the virtual screen, pausing for a second or two on a certain Chapter, then moving away.

Regarding that past, Gong Yulu didn’t want to recall it, just as Su Jiameng also intentionally minimized the emotional portrayal in that part when she wrote the novel. Even though she was one of the three-member group, her description was less than half of that of Han Yeming. Gong Yulu didn’t know whether she should be happy, angry, or melancholy, because in Su Jiameng’s heart, Han Yeming’s betrayal weighed less than hers.

Looking at this novel, it is very clear. The novel portrays Han Yeming very clearly, without omitting any of his positive feelings and psychological activities. But when it comes to herself in the three-member group, it’s brushed off with just a few paragraphs... Clearly, her presence was higher than Han Yeming’s!

According to Gu Ningzhi’s intellect, analyzing her true identity shouldn’t be difficult. However, the presence of herself as depicted in the novel was so low, to the point where this guy even overlooked her! Damn! Clearly, her presence was higher than those Commanders, Ancient Martial Inheritors, and yet she was ignored! Gong Yulu felt sinister inside, wanting to know what Su Jiameng was thinking!

According to the novel’s portrayal, all the plot progresses along the timeline, with various foreshadowing and hints.

Therefore, in this manner, the upcoming plot and conflicts are related to herself, one of the three-member group! With her presence so low, how would Su Jiameng narrate this part of the story? Isn’t she afraid the review section would be flooded with comments like ”Damn, who is this nameless character, did she appear before?” or ”Since when did the Queen’s friendship with her become so deep?”

Gu Ningzhi, being quite sensitive in capturing emotions, suddenly realized Gong Yulu’s mood was a bit off.

Before he could think of how to open the topic, he heard the other person say, ”The three-member group that appeared at the beginning, Su Jiameng, Han Yeming, and one more person... that’s me...”

What made Gong Yulu want to go berserk was when Gu Ningzhi, this type of fool, actually asked her, ”Eh... Is there such a character?”

Though her scenes were cut a lot by Su Jiameng and her character image leaned toward dull and data-like, what did it mean to ignore her like this! Could she say her future scenes would be plentiful and exciting, that she almost managed to kill the protagonist in the book!

”Cough cough cough... Sorry, I read too fast and didn’t notice these...” Gu Ningzhi wanted to make amends but it was already a bit late.

Gong Yulu shot him an eye saying ”Do you think I’d believe your words”, efficiently shutting someone up.

She continued, ”At that time, I didn’t have my own name... Or rather my name was just a string of meaningless numbers—Code 336073. What was shown to others was just a fabricated, non-existent term...”

Gu Ningzhi quietly flipped to the related Chapter, finally discovering that extremely lacking-in-presence character. In fact, this character’s description was more than that of many characters, but her image was too plain and dull, ironically without the popularity that even characters who appeared only once or twice had.
