From BOSS to Canon Fodder: She is Currently Out of Service!

To others, Shangguan Ruiqi might be extremely well-hidden, but in Su Jiameng’s eyes, he was completely exposed. The mecha charged straight towards its target, and when it was still some distance away, it suddenly activated a short-range space jump, closing in on the opponent’s blind spot. With a reverse upward slash, it severed a mechanical tentacle, while the red glow of a fully charged Hotline Particle Cannon engulfed the creature entangled by the tentacle.

Meanwhile, Su Jiameng also caught the opponent’s vicious counterattack. The moment her attack broke through the tentacles, the stealth mode of the opponent’s mecha was also dissolved, revealing its true form. Seeing that he was exposed, Shangguan Ruiqi simply threw all the creatures on the tentacles to the ground, the vacant tentacles swiftly transforming into long whips with sharp blades.

Su Jiameng has encountered many bizarre mechas, but this heavy-tentacle type... ahem, it’s really her first time. Should she say that Shangguan Ruiqi, being a product of the research institute, has such a poor sense of aesthetics? It makes one worry about his brain capacity.

Though the design is somewhat odd, one has to admit that the opponent’s combat ability is indeed impressive. Su Jiameng’s ultimate speed operation has always been her forte, and even using an unfamiliar mecha, she showed no signs of clumsiness.

”If that’s all you’ve got, it’s truly disappointing...” Su Jiameng muttered softly, her hands moving so fast that they left only a wisp of smoke-like afterimage—this was her not even trying her best. Though she spoke like this, there was pressure in her heart too.

At this moment, she must not use telekinesis. Su Jiameng wanted to easily defeat Shangguan Ruiqi, who could disrupt spiritual power and telekinesis with sonic attacks, but it was actually quite challenging. However, she was always one to face challenges head-on—this is nothing!

This mecha was originally a massive machine, yet under Su Jiameng’s control, it displayed an indescribable agility and swiftness! The tentacles could easily pierce through ordinary mechas, but if they couldn’t find a target to attack, no matter how sharp the blade, it was futile.

Su Jiameng could always spot those vulnerabilities in the blink of an eye, not only easily dodging attacks but also continuously closing in on Shangguan Ruiqi’s mecha. It’s uncertain what secret alloy was used for those tentacles, but they were extremely sharp and hard!

Her laser particle sword shattered multiple times before it managed to sever most of the tentacles. Luckily, the mecha’s energy supply was abundant, and the laser particle sword maintained its combat ability. If it had truly shattered, this battle would have become much more difficult.

Just as she was cornering Shangguan Ruiqi, one hit away from breaking through this hard turtle shell of a mecha, she suddenly received a contact request from a stranger... Damn, what do they want at this moment, sincerely trying to create trouble!

”Who are you? If you don’t give a proper reason, once I deal with this guy, you’ll be next!” Su Jiameng’s tone was very harsh and unfriendly, and Shangguan Ruolin was already mentally prepared.

”Let me handle this person!” Shangguan Ruolin’s voice had a distinctive quality, and Su Jiameng’s excellent memory quickly matched the voice to its owner, ”Shangguan Ruiqi is a fugitive of the Alliance, and I have an obligation to capture him!”

Su Jiameng hesitated for a moment, her originally fatal blow was slightly off course, providing Shangguan Ruiqi the opportunity to retreat and escape! However, it wasn’t a total loss, at least she managed to leave a sufficiently deep mark on his mechanical arm, clearly revealing the circuits and various mecha parts inside... Had it been a bit deeper, the mechanical arm would have been completely useless.

”...I’ll leave it to you then, but let me say this upfront: if you let him escape, I won’t let you off!” Su Jiameng had other plans in mind, so she stepped aside, relinquishing the main position to the newly arrived Shangguan Ruolin.

Watching that unfamiliar mecha fight desperately, Su Jiameng couldn’t help but muse that the relationship between Shangguan Ruolin and his brother must not be good at all. Even though Shangguan Ruiqi wasn’t his brother and had repeatedly set him up over the years, in the end, they had been brothers for decades. Yet, Ruolin showed not a shred of hesitation, attacking as fiercely as if he were facing a mortal enemy!

Su Jiameng was only mildly curious about this gossip, quickly setting it aside.

She chose to withdraw from the battle not out of respect for Shangguan Ruolin, but due to another plan in mind. Shangguan Ruiqi had a sonic attack from the merman gene, which, if strong enough, could easily destroy the buildings of an entire city along with the people living within!

Although Shangguan Ruiqi couldn’t achieve this, the power he could unleash and the potential crisis were not to be underestimated. Su Jiameng had to be well-prepared; otherwise, should a catastrophe ensue, all those children would be destroyed.

”Changxi, Su Mo, activate the spiritual shield isolation!” Su Jiameng intended to quickly establish a makeshift spiritual shield isolation barrier—not to envelop the entire Elementary Department, but to imprison Shangguan Ruiqi in the sky!

”Yes, Master of the Three Good Lolita!” Changxi and Su Mo were exceedingly capable autonomous intelligent robots, equipped with all kinds of devices and systems, including the spiritual shield isolation feature.

The two used their bodies as anchor points, then connected to Su Jiameng’s spiritual power, using it as a foundation, extending a circular, transparent spiritual power membrane into the air, with its radius rapidly increasing, resembling a giant balloon being inflated.

”Shangguan Ruolin, as recompense for yielding the prey, now listen to me: draw that guy to this spot!” Su Jiameng sent a message to him, adding a set of coordinates, hinting, ”Your brother has merman genes and can perform a sonic attack. If he becomes desperate and uses it... well, consider those innocent kids below...”

Shangguan Ruiqi’s strength exceeded his expectations, and to hold a draw was already not easy. Now, having to lure him to the designated place posed a bit of a challenge. Shangguan Ruolin’s expression darkened, but he still complied.
