My Youth Began With Him

“Sit down,” Su Yu commanded as he glared at Su Xiaoxiao.

“President Su, I…”

“Shut up. It’s not your turn to speak yet.”

Su Yu did not give preferential treatment to Su Xiaoxiao. Meanwhile, Han Yueyao wasn’t in the mood to eat so she continued to watch this show.

Su Yu seemed different from his usual self today; Gao Yaruo, therefore, was doomed for.

“President Su, I didn’t say that. Please judge appropriately as I am only the messenger…” Gao Yaruo immediately tried to exonerate herself.

“Then you’re a very responsible messenger. You wanted the whole company to know. You didn’t even forget your job as messenger while you ate at the cafeteria.”

“Please forgive me President Su… I will never do that again,” Gao Yaruo begged for mercy.

Su Yu looked at Gao Yaruo, then looked at Su Xiaoxiao, who stood angrily on the side.

He slowly got up and said, “Everyone probably is wondering what my relationship with Su Xiaoxiao is.”

All the staff were silent and didn’t dare to utter a peep.

“Taking advantage of this opportunity, I will tell you so you don’t need to guess, even though I honestly don’t care about these things. However, this is not good for Xiaoxiao as she is still a child.”

To Su Yu, someone like Su Xiaoxiao, who was just in her early 20s, was a child. Everything they did was immature.

Everyone tightened their attention when they heard Su Yu say he was going to tell them the truth.

Was Su Yu going to admit that Su Xiaoxiao was his lover?

What about Han Yueyao?

Just when everyone’s imagination was going wild, Su Yu said, “I’m only going to explain once. If I ever hear such ridiculous rumours again, I am going to fire those people. Imperial Star Entertainment would not hire such people ever again… Su Xiaoxiao is my niece. She’s my father’s cousin’s daughter. She’s family. That’s that.”

Su Yu’s words shut everyone up.

So Su Xiaoxiao was Su Yu’s niece?

It all seemed to make sense now. That was why Su Xiaoxiao, such a little devil, could do anything she wished at Imperial Star Entertainment. She was royalty in this company.

“Huh? Niece?” Gao Yaruo still didn’t seem to believe it.

Maybe it was because she already made an assumption about Su Xiaoxiao and Su Yu and thought there was something more between them, so when she heard that they were relatives, she couldn’t believe it.

“Oh my… So she’s Miss Su from the great Su Family. That means she’s royalty!”

“Yes. No wonder she can spend money like it’s just water and has all those luxury brand products. It all makes sense now.”

“I told you guys a long time ago that her eyes and brows look like President Su. I even suspected that she was his daughter but their age differences don’t really reconcile that theory. However, I never expected them to be uncle and niece.”

“Oh my, such big news. So she’s coming to the company to play. Good thing we didn’t get on her bad side. She’s legit a princess.”

Everyone was scrambling and saying all sorts of things.

“Did you hear what I said?” Su Yu glared at Gao Yaruo.

“Yes, Sir.”

“Good. From now on, you don’t need to be a team leader. You’re too immature. You can’t handle the responsibility of a leader. I won’t fire you to show some respect for your cousin but if you still continue to be like this, I will not forgive you.”

“Thank you President Su…”

Although Gao Yaruo was demoted from team lead, she was not fired.

“Dumbass, who told you to be so nosy. Now you picked a wrong fight and lost. Did you have fun? Are you surprised?” Su Xiaoxiao asked Gao Yaruo with a tiny smirk on her face.
