My Youth Began With Him

Huo Mian hadn’t expected that Nie Lingxuan would come.

But when she saw the invitation in the girl’s hand, she understood suddenly.

A few days ago, Xixi had asked for an invitation from her, and she had asked jokingly if Xixi would come back to China to attend her birthday party.

Xixi had chuckled and said mysteriously that she would know when the time came.

It seemed Xixi had asked for the invitation for her elder sister.

Since Nie Lingxuan wasn’t very close to Huo Mian, she came here just to see Su Yu.

At this thought, Huo Mian looked toward Su Yu and saw he was astonished, too.

As Nie Lingxuan’s big boss, he hadn’t known about her plan to come back from the States and show up on the yacht.

“Miss Nie, why are you back so suddenly?”

“Miss Nie, what’s your purpose for coming back?”

“Miss Nie, are you here for a new movie? It’s said you’re working with Hollywood producers. Is it true?”

“Miss Nie, did you show up here suddenly to give Dr. Huo a surprise? People say you and your younger sister are good friends with President Qin and his wife. Is it true?”

The moment Nie Lingxuan entered, she was surrounded by a group of reporters from well-known media outlets.

It was indeed a big story for them.

“I’m sorry, but I’m here to attend my friend’s birthday party and won’t do interviews. Thank you.”

She explained graciously with a faint smile.

Su Yu had a faint feeling that she looked somehow different from before. There was something new in her eyes.

In the past, she had been timid, shy, and gentle, but now she looked calm and gracious as if she owned the room. She had the air of a superstar.

As Su Yu was wondering about the purpose of her return, his thoughts were interrupted by Tang Chuan, “Hahaha. Mr. Su, you’re dead. With Zeng Rou and Han Yueyao here, now we have Nie Lingxuan. I wonder if the three of them will engage in a fistfight over you. The more the merrier.”

Su Yu: “…”

“I suggest Mr. Su test their skills one by one and keep the girl with the best performance.”

Wei Liao made a lewd joke, which was unusual for him.

“Hahaha. Mr. Wei is right. I totally agree.”

“You two are trying to make things worse for me, right?” Su Yu was exasperated.

“What are you waiting for? She’s your employee. Don’t you want to go and greet her?” Tang Chuan pushed at Su Yu’s shoulder.

Su Yu was a bit nonplussed. In fact, he didn’t want to have anything to do with Nie Lingxuan.

It was not good for a woman to be too obsessed about something; single-mindedness was a disease called PPD in psychology.

Qin Chu and Huo Siqian had this kind of obsession with Huo Mian, but it was okay for Qin Chu since he and Huo Mian loved each other. However, Huo Siqian’s obsession with Huo Mian was one-sided.

Like Huo Siqian, Nie Lingxuan was obsessed with Su Yu. He had refused her clearly several times, but she still didn’t give up.

As Su Yu hesitated if he should walk up and say hello to her, Nie Lingxuan walked toward him under everyone’s eyes.

“President Su, long time no see. I missed you so much.”

Her candid words embarrassed Su Yu and drew gasps from the onlookers…

“Honey, I think Nie Lingxuan looks… different today.” With a slight frown, Huo Mian walked to Qin Chu’s side and held his arm.
