My Youth Began With Him

She brought her hands together before her chest in a praying gesture and said to the rich guys who were watching them, “Oh, no. Guys, I’m sorry but this is our private business, and I just let it slip. Please pretend you didn’t hear it. My Su Yu doesn’t like people to gossip about him.”

“Shut up…”

Su Yu couldn’t bear it anymore. Grabbing her shoulders, he pulled her to a corner.

“Shut up and stop making stories about me. Or I’ll beat you.” Su Yu raised his fist to frighten her.

“Come on and beat me. If you do, I’ll blackmail you so hard that I won’t have to worry about money for the rest of my life. I don’t have to run errands at Imperial Star anymore. Haha.”

“You…” Looking at her smirk, Su Yu didn’t know if he should cry or laugh.

She was certainly different from Zeng Rou. The latter had tried hard to create conflicts with him to get close to him and he didn’t like this feeling.

No matter how hard Zeng Rou tried, she couldn’t make him like her; they could only be friends.

But unlike other girls, Han Yueyao didn’t idolize Su Yu and could speak to him about whatever was on her mind; she even dared to mock her boss occasionally…

Su Yu felt Han Yueyao looked more real since she didn’t try to disguise her shortcomings.

It was true that she loved money, but her shortcoming made her real.

After all, no one was perfect; if you see someone around you is perfect, it’s either that they’re trying hard to show only their good side or they’re trying to disguise their shortcomings.

Having worked in the business circle for years, Su Yu understood this point, which was why he’d rather work with Han Yueyao than with Zeng Rou.

“You have damned thought ahead… and even dare to blackmail me… Then it’d be easier if I just killed you and paid for your burial, right?” Su Yu said in a huff.

“Yeah. But I have a wish before you kill me,” Han Yueyao said with a straight face.

“Tell me. What’s your last wish?” Su Yu wanted to know what ridiculous ideas this girl had.

“After I die, you must pay big money for my burial; besides, I hope you can move my body to my hometown, Jing City, and find a good cemetery to bury me in.”

“That’s easy. I’ll buy you a cemetery crypt which costs 100,000 yuan per square meter.” Su Yu chuckled.

“Yeah, I just want to be buried in Babaoshan Cemetery. It’s a small wish.”

Hearing her words, Su Yu almost choked in fury.

“Babaoshan? Are you kidding me? Damn it… Even provincial governors don’t have the right to be buried there. Are you sure you’re not dreaming?” Su Yu was exasperated.

After all, Babaoshan was the holy ground in the capital, a cemetery for pioneers and forefathers of the country.

Han Yueyao claimed it was a small wish, but it was impossible to realize.

“See? You can’t even realize my last wish, so you’d better keep me alive.”

“I’ve wanted to settle accounts with you. Yesterday when I went to Mian’s office, I heard…” Before he could finish, Han Yueyao turned her head and said with a smile, “Hello, Sister Mian.”

Su Yu turned his head and glanced over, thinking Huo Mian had arrived.

However, Han Yueyao took advantage of his distraction and ducked out from under his arm.

“Haha. Su Yu, are you old-aged? You’re so slow… I hope you don’t have AD.”

Han Yueyao mocked him as she ran away.

Su Yu cursed in exasperation…

“An, here’s 3,000 yuan. Go and give Han Yueyao a good beating for me.” He pushed a wad of bills into An’s hands.
