This can be seen from the intense atmosphere of the competition.

“Shi Ping, two hundred meters, ten rings.”

“Wow, Shi Ping’s archery is this strong too?”

“Nonsense, our archery instructor Shi Qing is his father, after all.”

“He’s also made it to Class A, and there are already nine people in Class A, with only half the participants finished.

It seems those in Class B can’t make it into the top ten.”

“Definitely, the number of people making it to Class A will surely exceed ten.”

…

“How are the rules of this competition designed?”

Seeing Shi Ping also participate in the competition and arouse a burst of amazement with his results, Xia Hong was curious about the rules of the competition, so he turned his head to ask Xia Chuan.

Since Xia Chuan designed the competition, he knew it well and said:

“Anyone above the Logging Realm, except for the Hunting Team, can participate; targets are divided into two hundred meters, one hundred meters, and fifty meters, each with ten rings.

Based on the target chosen by the contestant, they are divided into Class A, B, and C.”

“Only hitting the ten rings counts as a score, right?”

Hearing Xu Ning and Shi Ping’s results, along with several others, all being ten rings, Xia Hong immediately understood the rules set by Xia Chuan.

As expected, Xia Chuan nodded upon hearing this.

Xia Hong thought for a moment but said nothing.

These rules seem strict, but they are undoubtedly beneficial without any drawbacks.

Those who venture out to hunt know best the harshness of the Ice Abyss World.

If one can’t achieve perfect accuracy in static shooting, then they are simply not qualified to deal with the powerful and cunning Cold Beasts of Redwood Ridge.

“But what if the number of people in Class A exceeds ten?”

Since only those hitting the ten rings count as having a score, those qualifying for Class A all have the same results, making it naturally difficult to distinguish rankings, and Xia Chuan’s rewards are to be given according to rankings.

For this issue, Xia Chuan was clearly prepared, pointing with his hand to the left side.

Xia Hong looked in the direction he pointed and discovered the quietly standing wooden mannequin on the left side of the crowd and immediately understood.

“Alright, let them compete.

Let’s go to the mine first…”

Xia Hong was about to lead Xia Chuan and others away, but just as he began, he was discovered by someone behind.

“The leader is here!”

“The leader also came to watch us compete.”

“Quick, make way for the leader.”

“Folks, why not let the leader also shoot an arrow for us to see?”

“That’s right, I’ve never seen the leader shoot an arrow.”

“Yeah, let the leader also shoot an arrow for us to see.”

…

No one knows who first suggested that Xia Hong should shoot an arrow to try.

The crowd immediately became enthusiastic.

Apart from a few members of the Hunting Team, these people had never seen Xia Hong shoot.

Of course, even if they hadn’t seen it, they had heard from the members of the Hunting Team that Xia Hong’s archery skills were excellent, which is why they were cheering.

Smiling, Xia Hong waved his hand, originally not wanting to try, but seeing the crowd’s enthusiasm and Shi Ping even leading by handing the bow over, he could only shake his head helplessly.

“Alright, since you all want to see, I’ll give it a try.

However, I won’t compete with you for rankings; just watch!”

Faced with such enthusiasm, Xia Hong no longer declined.

Reaching out to take the longbow handed by Shi Ping, he focused slightly, and the coal stone in the abdomen groove of the wooden mannequin on the other side immediately lit up.

After a burst of light, the wooden mannequin transformed into a Bone Spur Frost Wolf, walking to the other end of the wooden house, about two hundred meters away from Xia Hong, before stopping.

“The Cold Beasts of Redwood Ridge are not static targets.

Whether hunting, gathering, or logging, once encountered, they will not foolishly stand still waiting for your arrow!”

As Xia Hong finished speaking, the Bone Spur Frost Wolf transformed from the wooden mannequin suddenly gathered strength in its limbs and charged at him like a bullet.

Among the five types of Cold Beasts encountered so far, the Frost Wolf’s speed is second only to the Rodent’s; for the Frost Wolf, two hundred meters is less than ten moments of time.

Whoosh…

whoosh…

whoosh…

whoosh…

As soon as the Frost Wolf moved, Xia Hong was already bending the bow and nocking the arrow, shooting four arrows in quick succession.

Except for the first arrow, which took one moment, he shot the remaining three arrows almost immediately without aiming.

Everyone hurriedly turned to look at the Frost Wolf, and all took a deep breath.

The first two arrows hit the Frost Wolf in its eyes, and the terrifying impact carried by the two arrows caused the Frost Wolf’s head to flip backward, almost sending its body flying backward;

The next two arrows predicted the trajectory of the Frost Wolf’s backward movement and directly penetrated its shoulder blades, pinning its body to the ground.

Thud…

thud…

growl…

The Frost Wolf transformed from the wooden mannequin was extremely realistic.

Although hit by these four arrows, its life force was not entirely severed, and it struggled madly on the ground, roaring, freeing itself from the two arrows in its shoulder blades, and began retreating, seemingly trying to escape.

Xia Hong’s eyes shone slightly.

The mimicry of the wooden mannequin was indeed realistic to the extreme, almost perfectly replicating the reaction of a Cold Beast.

Of course, he didn’t stop moving.

He quickly stepped forward a few steps, once again drawing his bow and nocking an arrow, shooting six more arrows in succession at the Frost Wolf dodging left and right.

One arrow pinned its head, four arrows pierced its body, and the last arrow hit its tail.

The Frost Wolf transformed from the wooden mannequin was finally pinned to the ground by Xia Hong’s arrow.

After Xia Hong finished shooting ten arrows, there was silence all around.
