Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1384: Chapter 527: Scheming Against Tong Xin

”Too much Yin energy?”

”That’s right, this partially stems from the fact that you are a woman, and you’re a particularly rare type of woman, so ever since you were born, you’ve had an exceptionally strong Yin energy.”

”Additionally, you like flowers and plants, many of which are of the utmost Yin nature, like monstera, which further increases your Yin energy to some extent.”

”And finally, you’ve been a virgin all these years, so you haven’t received Yang energy from a man, which means your Yin energy hasn’t been balanced.”

”In our Daoist beliefs, we have a saying about the conservation of Yin and Yang, which states that if there’s a woman with excessive Yin energy in a family, the lifespan of the men in the family won’t be long, and various accidents are more likely to occur.”

”To change this situation, you must alter your utmost Yin fate.”

Tong Xin thought quickly, then said, ”What do you suggest I do to change my fate?”

Zhang Jingdong naturally replied, ”In your current situation, you need to do two things.”

”First, keep fewer flowers and plants, or better yet, don’t keep any at all.”

”And the second... is to get a boyfriend and often, you know, with him.”

”Moreover, he must be a man among men, because the Yang energy of an average man isn’t enough to balance your Yin energy, whereas a man with abundant Yang energy can completely neutralize your Yin energy.”

Tong Xin could barely accept the first point, but upon hearing the second, her face flushed red with embarrassment: ”Is this... the only way? Is there no other method?”

Zhang Jingdong had anticipated her difficulty in accepting this, but he laid it out to prepare her for the idea.

Noticing her strong reaction, he added, ”What I mentioned is the most direct and best method.”

”If it were any regular Daoist, they could only tell you these two points, but since I’m a top Daoist, I have another method just slightly less effective.”

Tong Xin breathed a sigh of relief, ”What is it?”

”In the coming days, come with me to Meihua Mountain every morning at 4 AM, and I’ll perform a ritual to weaken your Yin energy.”

Tong Xin hesitated, then said, ”But... won’t that take up your time, I...”

Zhang Jingdong interrupted, ”At this point, what does time matter?”

Seeing her still a bit hesitant, he continued, ”Don’t you also have a younger brother? And you work at the Maple Forest Group, where there are many male employees. If this issue isn’t resolved soon, who knows what might happen in the future.”

Hearing this, Tong Xin nodded in agreement.

”...Alright, Boss Zhang, thank you so much!”

”I’ll always remember your great kindness, and I’ll definitely repay you well!”

Zhang Jingdong chuckled, ”Don’t mention it. This is what we Daoists ought to do.”

”Alright, consider this your consultation. Get some rest; I’ll pick you up at 4 AM. Don’t forget!”

Tong Xin quickly nodded, ”Okay! I won’t forget!”

Zhang Jingdong pretended to leave but suddenly turned back.

Tong Xin, caught off guard, almost bumped into him.

In a fluster, she said, ”What... is it?”

Zhang Jingdong smiled, ”I almost forgot, I want to give you a magic artifact.”

With that, he gently took her right hand, gave it a slight shake, and suddenly a Bulgari golden bracelet appeared on her wrist.

Tong Xin didn’t know Zhang Jingdong knew magic, so she subconsciously thought this was magic and was instantly amazed again!

But she quickly reacted, ”This... this is too valuable, I... I can’t accept it!”

Zhang Jingdong shook his head with a smile, ”Didn’t I tell you? It’s a magic artifact.”

”I made it look like a golden bracelet so it wouldn’t look out of place when you wear it.”

Tong Xin took a closer look, then said, ”But it really is a Bulgari golden bracelet... this is too valuable. I have to pay you for it!”

Zhang Jingdong sighed, ”Do you think I need the money? Enough said, in the end, it’s just a magic artifact. Just accept it.”

Seeing her still torn, he added, ”How about this, if you really feel uneasy... can you cook?”

Tong Xin was slightly taken aback, then nodded, ”I can.”

”Then make me a meal someday, to show your sincerity.”

Tong Xin thought quickly, then slowly nodded, ”Alright, thank you!”

”Congratulations to the host for receiving the heartfelt gratitude of the target, rewarded with 200,000 yuan!”

Seeing her accept it, Zhang Jingdong smiled and waved, ”Alright then, get some rest!”

He turned and left the room.

Tong Xin gazed at the closed door for a long time, then raised her hand to look at the golden bracelet on her wrist, her mind drifting back over her interactions with Zhang Jingdong that day.

After a while, her emotions turned complex.

Curiosity, puzzlement, respect, shyness, and a hint of... admiration?

...

Zhang Jingdong left Century Garden, hailed a cab, and went to pick up his car from the restaurant.

He initially intended to go straight to Spring Breeze Garden but suddenly remembered Lin Shishi and Xiao Fei had gone to learn dance from Shu Ran this morning.

So he took out his phone and called Lin Shishi.
