Forcing Me to Be a Godly Tycoon, Right?

Chapter 1365: Chapter 521: A Battle of Wits and Courage with the Two of Them!

After getting out of the car, Zhang Jingdong looked content as he walked upstairs with Lin Shishi, the most beautiful girl at West University, on his left hand, and Xiao Fei, the second most beautiful girl and a popular star, on his right hand.

Once inside, they placed the takeout barbecue skewers and beer on the table and continued their revelry.

At that moment, Zhang Jingdong said, ”Since we’re back home, how about we play a game?”

Xiao Fei immediately lit up with excitement, ”Sure, I love playing games!”

Although Lin Shishi knew that Zhang Jingdong was up to something mischievous again, she was thoroughly enjoying herself, whether on stage or experiencing barbecue skewers and beer for the first time tonight.

So she didn’t want to spoil Zhang Jingdong’s mood and nodded, ”Hmm.”

Seeing her agreement, Zhang Jingdong quickly said, ”The game is called ’I’m the Boss.’ The rules are simple: the three of us take turns spinning the bottle, and whoever the bottle points at is the boss.”

”Then the boss can ask the other two for something. You should know by now how challenging these requests can be, right? And it’s a fair game, isn’t it?”

Xiao Fei nodded with a grin, ”This game is good. With winners and losers, we can penalize each other. Shishi, let’s go head-to-head this time and hold nothing back against each other.”

Hearing this, Lin Shishi agreed readily, ”Sure, let’s do it.”

Zhang Jingdong swiftly tidied up the table and placed an empty bottle in the center.

”Which of you wants to go first?”

Xiao Fei giggled, ”Shishi, how about I go first?”

”Go ahead.”

Xiao Fei then leaned forward, grasped the middle of the bottle, and gave it a swift spin.

The bottle spun quickly for a while, then gradually slowed down before finally stopping.

This time, the bottle pointed directly at Lin Shishi.

Xiao Fei clapped her hands, ”Ah, I knew it. The shot hit the leader, and it’s Shishi again!”

Lin Shishi was unusually pleased, ”So now I’m the boss.”

Zhang Jingdong sighed, ”That’s right, Shishi, tell us, how do you want to punish us?”

Lin Shishi thought quickly, then said, ”Boss Zhang, why don’t you sing us a song, Luo Dayou’s ’Love Song 1990’? Do you know it?”

Zhang Jingdong looked surprised, ”Of course I know it, but are you sure you want to give me such an easy punishment?”

Lin Shishi took a sip of beer in front of her, ”That’s right, we’ve been having such a good time tonight, we need a nice song.”

Zhang Jingdong exclaimed, ”That’s my Shishi, always in good taste!”

”Alright, I’ll start my punishment now.”

He took a moment to prepare and then began to sing:

Bright black eyes and your smiling face

It’s hard to forget the changes in your looks

The fleeting old times just slip away

Looking back, so many years have passed in a blink

...

This song by Luo Dayou is a classic in both lyrics and melody, and naturally, Zhang Jingdong put his all into singing it for the two of them.

So even though it was an a cappella performance, he managed to set the mood perfectly from the first line.

Lin Shishi and Xiao Fei were both deeply moved by Zhang Jingdong’s singing from the very first line.

Especially Xiao Fei, who originally thought she had already experienced Zhang Jingdong’s best singing skills, but now she realized his skills were even better than any of his previous performances she had heard.

Wow, his real singing abilities are truly fathomless!

While Lin Shishi might not understand the technicalities, she felt that Zhang Jingdong not only captured Luo Dayou’s essence but also sang so well that it was almost on par with Lin Zixuan’s cover of ”Your Face.”

So she found herself completely captivated by Zhang Jingdong’s singing once again.

Soon after Zhang Jingdong finished his song, the two beauties couldn’t help but applaud him and shower him with compliments.

”Boss Zhang, I have to say, a boss is indeed a boss. Your level is always what I strive for!”

”Boss Zhang, if you ever choose to leave the business world, you could easily become a professional singer like Feifei!”

Zhang Jingdong laughed, ”You two are really starting to flatter me, but if Xiao Fei releases an album next time, I might consider singing a duet with her.”

Xiao Fei was ecstatic, ”Boss, I’ll hold you to it, you can’t go back on your word!”

”Don’t worry, as a boss, I have to stand by my words...”

But just then, Zhang Jingdong suddenly thought of something and added, ”However, you know collaborative songs are much harder to create than regular ones, so I might not be able to write it right away.”

”Unless... you win later, and make that my punishment. Then, in order to fulfill the punishment, I’ll definitely be able to write it.”

Xiao Fei glared at him, ”Tsk... you just want to use that to avoid a punishment, huh? Fine, let’s do it. If I win the first round, I’ll make that the punishment.”

Seeing his plan succeed, Zhang Jingdong shrugged, ”Alright, then I’ll keep my word and have it ready for your next album.”

Now Xiao Fei was happy too, and she turned to Lin Shishi, ”Shishi, what’s my punishment?”

Lin Shishi paused for a moment, then said, ”How about dancing to a piece I’ve never seen before?”

”Tsk tsk, Shishi is truly fair, alright!”

With that, Xiao Fei got up, went to the open space near the table, prepared briefly, and began to dance.
