The Evolution Of A Goblin To The Peak

Chapter 1249: Blood Realm

Boom!!

The moon above the lands flared red, casting an ominous crimson light over Vanko and Reem. Souta thrust both hands forward, and his voice cut through the roaring chaos.

”It’s futile!”

His words weren’t for the beings below, they were directed at the cores of both lands themselves. With his [Douion IV], Souta had transcended the need for them. He was no longer reliant on the land’s natural dream power; he was a core of dream energy himself.

The magnitude of his power dwarfed even the strongest dream creatures. Demis and monsters born of the Dream Realm could not hope to reach this level. His douion had surpassed the lands themselves, bending their essence to his will.

”I will be the sole ruler of this land!!”

With a deafening roar, he pressed his hands together. Energy erupted outward in a blinding surge, a storm of douion so dense and potent that reality itself groaned under its weight.

The lands trembled violently, no, they were collapsing. Enormous cracks spider-webbed across the terrain, stretching dozens of kilometers, splitting floating islands, shattering mountains, and tossing entire villages like toys.

Boom!! Boom!!

The Sovereigns and Rulers of Reem stared in stunned silence, their eyes wide as the ground below them reshaped itself into something alien and new.

”This... this requires unimaginable dream power,” Tyrin muttered, his voice barely audible above the roaring energy.

A fellow Sovereign added, voice trembling, ”It’s not just the scale... the dream power itself is denser, more potent than anything we’ve ever felt. It folds beyond normal limits.”

All of them possessed dream power, yet even they could only ever reshape their own territories. What Souta was doing now... it was on an entirely different level.

What Souta was doing went against the very essence of the two lands. He was forcibly merging them, compressing their cores and reshaping the terrain to create an entirely new world.

”Changing a dreamscape is easy,” he muttered under his breath, ”but in the deeper realm... it’s far more difficult. Still, I have the power to do it.”

A thought struck him, and a smile curved across his lips.

He finally understand. He understand that the legendary witch, Le Fay, was a Dream Lord herself. Transitioning Walpurgis Night between reality and dream... she must have wielded immense dream power to pull off something like that.

”This... this is it!”

With that, Souta pressed his energy forward. The cores of Vanko and Reem were smashed together, forcefully compressed by his [Douion IV] before expanding outward in a violent surge.

Bang!!

The beings in both lands were thrown off balance, collapsing under the shock. Yet none were harmed. Souta had seamlessly transitioned them into his dreamscape, or in some cases, opened their dream realms just enough to shield them from the catastrophic energy.

Achieving [Douion IV] had brought his plan to this unprecedented scale. The lands groaned and cracked under his will, and a deafening chorus of rifts and fractures reverberated across the merged territories.

Ohm!!

The Sovereigns and Rulers, still hovering above, looked down in stunned awe. The cores they had relied on for guidance and power were gone but their dream abilities remained intact. The connection to the cores had only augmented their power; it was no longer necessary.

Below the red moon, a magnificent sight unfolded. Vanko and Reem were no longer two lands. They were one, reshaped and reforged under Souta’s absolute control.

Souta hovered in the sky, the crimson light from the moon bathing the new land in an otherworldly glow. His eyes swept over the merged realm, calm yet brimming with the quiet thrill of triumph.

The unification was complete.

Souta’s body ached, his breath coming in deep, steady pulls. More than half of his [Douion IV] had been expended, yet a deep satisfaction coursed through him.

Before him stretched an enormous land, spanning over a thousand kilometers. Mountains and seas sprawled across the horizon, smaller chunks of land drifting slowly above the surface like fragments of some celestial puzzle. The edges of the new realm were still forming, rocks and debris manifesting from nothingness as the land solidified under his will.

”From this moment forward,” Souta’s voice rang out, calm but commanding, echoing across every corner of the newly formed territory, ”the Land of Vanko and the Land of Reem no longer exist. A new land is born, shaped from the foundation of the two, and it shall be called the Blood Realm. I, Souta Ieshi, will be its Realm Lord.”

The words reverberated like a decree, and every creature attuned to the land felt the shift, a tremor of power signaling the birth of a world.

But Souta wasn’t finished.

He lifted himself above the red moon, arms outstretched, and drew on the remaining reserves of his douion.

Ohm!!

Energy erupted from him like a living storm, spreading outward at impossible speed. Within seconds, the entire Blood Realm was enveloped, every inch saturated with his power. The chaotic fluctuations that had once made the merged lands unstable were suppressed. The presence of the Blood Realm was hidden, masked from all who might seek it from the outside.

Even with his overwhelming power, Souta knew better than to underestimate the world. There were still beings who could challenge him so he ensured that the Blood Realm could not be easily sensed by others, at least for now.

The new land was not yet perfect. There was still room to refine it, to make it a fortress worthy of his dominion. This would be his main base, his stronghold, the foundation for everything to come.

Souta exhaled deeply, a chuckle escaping him. Exhausted though he was, a quiet satisfaction warmed him.

”It’s... not bad,” he said, his eyes sweeping over the Blood Realm he had forged.

For the first time in months, a sense of calm settled over him, even amidst the lingering power surging in the air. He had done it. The Blood Realm existed and it was his.

Souta turned his gaze toward Yuko, still immersed in his dreamscape. He transported both her and the Rank 23 Sovereign before he fused the Land of Vanko and Land of Reem, seamlessly moving them without the two of them noticing.

To them, it would feel as though they were still in the Land of Vanko. Only the severed connection to the core would hint that something had changed but even then, it was subtle enough that it wouldn’t immediately trigger suspicion.

Peering into the dreamscape, Souta noted with calm satisfaction that Yuko had already defeated the Rank 23 Sovereign.

As expected.

Yuko, at the peak of her fourth stage, was a force few monsters could hope to contend with. With her mastery of dream power and her parasitic abilities, victory was near inevitable yet not effortless.

”Continue to train,” Souta murmured, almost to himself. ”There are more than enough resources here to support your next evolution.”

The Blood Realm was complete, solidifying as the hub for all his future operations. Even the Everlasting Kingdom, already quietly under his influence, would eventually integrate into this new land.

Only a rare few would have the ability to manifest their dream power here. Without the [Nightmare Mask], the chances of anyone doing so were vanishingly small.

Satisfied, Souta left Yuko to her training and returned to reality.

Descending over the Everlasting Kingdom, he was immediately greeted by King Tasman, who had been anxiously awaiting his return ever since the massive disturbance had shaken the kingdom.

The citizens had felt the commotion, and while its source was impossible to conceal, Tasman had ensured them that it was not a calamity. Yet even he could not hide his curiosity and relief at seeing Souta appear safely.

”What happened?” Tasman asked, his brow furrowed in concern.

Even as an Eight Shackle Realm expert, the magnitude of the previous events was beyond his comprehension.

Souta chuckled softly. ”Good news.”

Tasman blinked, surprised. He had never seen Souta react like this before. If this was ”good news,” it had to be extraordinary.

”Prepare your elites,” Souta continued, his tone calm but commanding. ”The Blood Realm is open, and it will be up to them to seize the opportunity. You may bring your son along if you wish.”

He paused briefly, letting his words sink in, then elaborated: ”I am the ruler of the Blood Realm. No one has established a connection to its new core except for me. There are many vacant positions within it, and demi and monsters will fight to claim territories.”

Tasman’s eyes widened slightly as he processed this. Souta wasn’t offering handouts. This was a test, an opportunity earned through strength and strategy. The Blood Realm and its core were beyond Tasman’s full understanding, but he could sense the magnitude. It was tied to the Dream Realm, and it represented a chance the people of the Everlasting Kingdom could not afford to ignore.

A mix of excitement and determination flickered in Tasman’s eyes. He understood clearly: this was a path to power, but it would demand effort, courage, and skill.
