Clan Rise: Starting as a Grandfather

Chapter 848: Chapter 627: Bright Sun and Moon, Majestic Heavenly Dynasty

Yang Minghao mused, ”It’s better to eliminate them now than to have them provoke us again in the future!”

Luo Jingsong laughed and said, ”Island Master, the population on our Star Moon Island is increasing. In another ten years or so, we might not have enough space for everyone!”

This is not an exaggeration. The population on Divine Wood Island has already exceeded thirty thousand, and in another ten years or so, surpassing fifty thousand won’t be an issue.

The population growth brings many problems, starting with housing. Star Moon City has already been expanded several times, and the villages scattered across the island are also constantly expanding.

The next issue is food supply. The island’s farmland can no longer meet the daily needs of its people. Now, Star Moon Island has to purchase twenty to thirty thousand units of grain from outside every year.

The final issue is that the Yang family not only has Star Moon Island but also several nearby habitable islands. Although the populations on those islands have not grown as quickly as on Star Moon Island, they have still doubled in these sixteen years.

So the issue of Star Moon Island’s expansion is already imminent.

Luo Jingsong is clearly thinking of occupying Divine Wood Island to solve the problem of the unmanageable population growth of Star Moon Island.

And Divine Wood Island can indeed meet the needs of Star Moon Island. Not to mention, Divine Wood Island is very large, more than thirty times the size of Star Moon Island.

There are also six islands on the east and west sides of Divine Wood Island, each no smaller than Star Moon Island.

The seven islands form a line across the vast sea, like an emerald necklace embedded on the sea surface.

If the Yang family could occupy the seven islands of Divine Wood Island, that would make eight islands in a line, only that Star Moon Island is slightly further from Hu Ya Island, over three hundred miles, which could barely connect them together.

However, occupying the Divine Wood Seven Islands is not so easy. The Divine Wood Sect has five to six hundred thousand followers, and to make them submit would require changing their beliefs.

Unless you kill them all, it’s difficult to eliminate the Divine Wood Sect. Forget about persuading them with reason; those zealots won’t listen, and Yang Zhenshan has no patience to reason with them.

Back then, when Yang Zhenshan conquered Star Moon Island, not a single one of the more than ten thousand people on the island was spared.

Except for the fortunate Lv family, Wang family, and Li family, all forces around Star Moon Island and nearby pirate forces, totaling two to three hundred thousand people, were thrown into the sea to feed the fish.

”The resources on the seven islands of Divine Wood Island are also very abundant. Not to mention the value of their Divine Wood, just consider the coral near the coast of Hu Ya Island, the gemstones on Baolan Island, Suiyun Island and Fire Cloud Island both have a hundred thousand hectares of good land, enough to support millions of people!”

”And Divine Forest Island has many divine trees; those trees are treasures too.”

”The least valuable is Gui Yun Island, but Gui Yun Island not only has a natural harbor but also sits on many trade routes, leading east to the Longdan Dynasty, south to the Taro Dynasty, and southeast even to the legendary Dazhao Heavenly Dynasty!”

”Radiant sun and moon, majestic Heavenly Dynasty, that’s the Heavenly Dynasty Sacred Nation!”

Luo Jingsong couldn’t help but reveal a look of yearning.

The Great Zhao Heavenly Dynasty is said to be an incredibly powerful dynasty, and countless martial artists in the East South Sea Domain are unmatched in their desire to visit it.

Many legends about the Great Zhao Heavenly Dynasty are spread in the East South Sea Domain, but not many really know what the Great Zhao Heavenly Dynasty is like.

This is mainly because it’s too far away, and moreover, you have to cross the Stormy Sea Domain with its storms and turbulent waves.

The thundering waves raised by storms in the Stormy Sea Domain continue year-round, and what’s special is that the waves in this area have a cliff-like front and a gently sloping back, reaching heights of up to fifty feet, sometimes accompanied by swirling waves, making the sea surface churn like a boiling cauldron.

Even Da Rong’s largest Da Fu Ship entering the Stormy Sea Domain is very likely to be overturned and sink to the bottom.

It’s said that only two months each year see calmer waves in the Stormy Sea Domain, barely allowing large ships to pass.

But the period of calm is not fixed; sometimes it comes early, sometimes late.

Therefore, crossing the Stormy Sea Domain is like gambling with fate.

Yang Zhenshan has also heard the legends of the Great Zhao Heavenly Dynasty and the Stormy Sea Domain, but he believes the so-called Stormy Sea Domain is just a meeting point of oceanic currents and air currents.

Cold air colliding with warm air forms wind and rainstorms, and if combined with a strong ocean current, it wouldn’t be surprising to cause a tumultuous wave.

He is also drawn by the allure of the so-called Great Zhao Heavenly Dynasty and wishes to see this legendary kingdom himself.

Yang Zhenshan pondered for a moment and said, ”Then let’s eradicate the Divine Wood Sect.”

His motivation for eliminating the Divine Wood Sect stems from three reasons. One is that Star Moon Island needs to expand, the second is his yearning for the Great Zhao Heavenly Dynasty, which he would also like to visit if given the chance, and the third reason is his desire to study the divine trees on Divine Wood Island.

The divine tree, though not bearing Spirit Fruits, has effects no less than Spirit Fruits, with its leaves, flowers, and fruits virtually having effects comparable to Treasure Medicine.

Moreover, the aerial roots of the divine tree can be crafted into powerful bows, which in the hands of the Divine Wood Sect are merely decent weapons, but in the hands of Yang Zhenshan, they are absolute killing tools.

This is because Yang Zhenshan has enough Postnatal Martial Artists to use powerful bows.

If hundreds of seventh or eighth-level Postnatal Martial Artists used powerful bows, even Innate Martial Artists would have to flee.

Innate Martial Artists can gather True Qi to form armor, greatly enhancing their defense, but such armor also has its defensive limits, and the more attacks it withstands, the more True Qi it consumes.
