Clan Rise: Starting as a Grandfather

Chapter 847: Chapter 626: Dad Said Wipe Them Out, So We Wipe Them Out!

For this, the Star Moon Island Navy patrolled the sea near the Desheng Dynasty for over a year, sending tens of thousands of Desheng Dynasty naval soldiers to feed the fish.

Finally, the Desheng Royal Court was forced to apologize, thus calming a major chaotic battle.

When Yang Zhenshan came to the front yard, not only were Yang Mingzhi and Yang Minghao present in the hall, but also Yang Mingcheng, Luo Zhen, Luo Jingsong, and Wu Zhan.

”Greetings to the Island Master!”

Yang Zhenshan waved his hand and sat in the main seat in a grand chair, ”What happened that startled all of you?”

Yang Mingzhi stepped forward and recounted the events of last night in detail.

At this time, he had a much clearer understanding of Divine Wood Island’s attack on the fleet.

”According to those who escaped back, the force attacking the fleet was undeniably Divine Wood Island, but there were also some martial artists wearing blue robes among them, whose skills were not ordinary.”

”Blue-robed martial artists?” Yang Zhenshan asked with some doubt.

Yang Mingzhi replied, ”They must be blue-robed warriors from the Taro Dynasty!”

Yang Zhenshan was enlightened.

The Taro Dynasty is quite far from Star Moon Island, located southeast of it, approximately fifteen hundred miles away. Even with favorable winds and water, it would take three days and nights by ship to reach there.

The so-called blue-robed warriors are not the governmental force of the Taro Dynasty but refer to a group of martial artists making a living at sea.

They are more or less a group of pirates from the Taro Dynasty, possibly supported by the nobles of the Taro Dynasty or just a group of desperados.

They are called blue-robed warriors because most of them wear blue long robes, not out of preference or uniformity, but because the Taro Dynasty produces Green Gold Stone, which can be made into dye for fabrics.

Therefore, in the Taro Dynasty, almost everyone wears green and blue robes.

”It seems someone is using Divine Wood Island’s name to stir up trouble!” Yang Zhenshan said lightly.

Luo Jingsong spoke up, ”There aren’t many forces in the nearby seas with such boldness, especially those who like to hire blue-robed warriors are even fewer, so I suspect it’s Jiuxing Island!”

Yang Mingzhi nodded in agreement, ”Jiuxing Island has the motive to unite with Divine Wood Island!”

”What motive?” This escaped Yang Zhenshan’s knowledge of the East South Sea Domain’s situation.

Jiuxing Island is south of Star Moon Island, quite far away, but all along, the Yang family hasn’t interacted with Jiuxing Island, naturally having no grudges.

Yang Mingzhi explained, ”In the past two years, Jiuxing Island has had many conflicts with Earth Fire Island, and the situation between the two is becoming increasingly tense, hinting at a decisive confrontation.”

Yang Zhenshan stroked his beard, feeling a bit annoyed.

None of them are peace-loving.

They fight constantly without understanding the proverb, ’peace brings profit.’

He thought so without considering the ease of his position; backed by Da Rong, the Yang family could have as many scarce trade goods as they desired, earning Silver handily. Even if there were some changes, it wouldn’t harm the Yang family’s business foundation.

Just like the silk and porcelain trade, the ongoing war between the Da Yue Dynasty and the Martial God Temple indeed affected the trade in the Galuo Sea Domain, but it only affected the Yang family business’s share in silk and porcelain trade.

The Yang family’s other goods could continuously be transported from Da Rong to various sea domains, and local specialties from diverse regions could be steadily sent to Da Rong.

This is the greatest advantage of the Yang family business and Tenglong Guard, but what about the island forces in the East South Sea Domain?

Most of them merely earn some profit margins, a little for transportation efforts, holding one or two specialties is already quite challenging.

Once their maritime trade faces issues, it almost becomes a fatal blow to them.

Take Earth Fire Island for instance, if the island’s weapons can’t be exported, the Zhu family would have to eat porridge next year, unable to afford a bowl of dry rice.

Conversely, if Da Rong’s ores can’t be sent to Earth Fire Island, its armaments production would halve, causing the Zhu family to experience hardship.

Thus, for Earth Fire Island, purchasing ores and selling armaments are two critically important aspects. If any force seeks to disrupt these, they must fight with full strength.

The flaw of island forces is their independence from major powers, yet they are influenced by surrounding forces.

For this reason, forces in the East South Sea Domain frequently end up at war, blood flying everywhere.

The advantage of the Yang family’s business is its integration with Tenglong Guard, collaborating closely to ensure Da Rong’s northeastern goods supply while the Yang family ensures safe passage for Tenglong Guard’s merchant ships in the East South Sea Domain.

As long as Tenglong Guard and the Yang family maintain a close relationship, whatever problem arises won’t affect the fundamental business of the Yang family.

”We’ve been dragged into this by the Zhu family!” Yang Zhenshan sighed.

”It’s inevitable; we’ve had close relations with the Zhu family over the years. Forces regard us as one alliance; whichever one they intend to fight, they’ll first consider the other’s support!” Yang Mingzhi explained.

Yang Zhenshan nodded, ”Indeed, the Zhu family is our most vital ally in the East South Sea Domain! If the Zhu family encounters trouble, we can’t just stand by!”

The Yang and Zhu families haven’t been close for just a day or two; intentionally collaborating has made them almost inseparable.

Moreover, the two families have intermarried, further strengthening their bond.

”Then let’s fight, starting with Divine Wood Island! Chang Lin, that old fellow, is stubborn. Without beating him, he won’t settle!”

Chang Lin is the High Priest of Divine Wood Island, a faction based on religious sect, believing in Divine Wood Sect, similar to the Snow Spirit Palace.

Snow Spirit Palace believes in the Ice and Snow Holy Spirit, while Divine Wood Island believes in Divine Wood, which has a gigantic tree on it, towering hundreds of meters tall, its crown covering tens of thousands of acres.

This plant resembles the Banyan Tree, not only dense in leaves but also with its branches rooting downwards. Some roots dangle mid-air, called ”aerial roots.”

Most aerial roots reach the ground, embedding into the soil to absorb nutrients and provide support for branches, the upright roots resembling tree trunks.

Nearby islands have many such Banyan Trees, with smaller ones covering a dozen acres while the largest is on Divine Wood Island, spanning tens of thousands of acres.

The Divine Wood Sect regards this enormous tree as sacred, living under its boughs, considering everything a blessing from the Divine Wood.

These trees are indeed useful; fruit, leaves, bark, even small roots, can be used medicinally.

Additionally, the aerial roots are strong and flexible, a premium material for making longbows.

Numerous birds nest above Divine Wood, among them the Eagle-eyed Magpie, whose eggs enhance vision.

Thus, Divine Wood Island boasts many formidable Divine Archers.

They possess mighty bows and incredible archery skills, truly intimidating.

In Da Rong, Yang Zhenshan regards archers poorly, for martial artists generally find bows and arrows rather useless, reliant on the bow’s quality for power.

Typically, a two-stone bow poses no significant threat to Postnatal Martial Artists.

But Divine Wood Island’s bows are different, being ten-stone strength or higher, requiring a thousand-jin might just to draw them.

Therefore, Divine Wood Island’s bows pose a major threat to martial artists.

”Father, should we annihilate Divine Wood Island?” Yang Mingzhi asked.

The others showed interest in the question.

”What do you all think?” Yang Zhenshan did not answer but looked at the others.

Yang Mingcheng scratched his head, ”Dad says destroy them, we’ll destroy them!”

This remark might as well have been unspoken.
