Clan Rise: Starting as a Grandfather

Chapter 566: Chapter 492, ladies, don’t stop, come on, continue to play the music and dance!

Entering the private room, Yang Zhenshan first sized up the young man before laughing and saying, ”Haha, I was wondering who was in such a hurry to summon Luo Shang, it turns out to be Prince Ning!”

”Old servant Yang Zhenshan pays his respects to Prince Ning!”

He clasped his fist and bowed in greeting.

Prince Ning Chen Zhaoting, also the Second Prince, was born to the Imperial Noble Consort Zhang.

Luo Shang might not recognize Prince Ning, but Yang Zhenshan could.

Even though he had never seen Prince Ning before, he recognized him at first glance.

After all, there are only three Princes who have opened their yamens and established mansions outside the walls of the Imperial City in the Capital City at present.

”Marquis Jing’an, aren’t you being quite impolite?” Prince Ning looked at Yang Zhenshan with a dark expression.

Yang Zhenshan stroked his beard and laughed loudly, ”It was my brashness!”

”It’s rare for His Highness to be in such good spirits, and I just wanted to join His Highness for a bit of merriment!”

As he spoke, he waved his hand, and Ding Qiu immediately understood, stepping forward to draw back the curtain and then bringing a chair to place in front of the bed inlaid with jade and ivory.

”Luo Shang, there’s nothing for you here, you may leave!”

Yang Zhenshan said carelessly while sitting on the chair.

”Then this humble one shall take his leave!”

Luo Shang couldn’t be happier, quickly paying his respects to both Yang Zhenshan and Prince Ning, and made to leave.

”Wait, this Prince did not say he could leave now!” Prince Ning said coldly.

Yang Zhenshan looked at him in surprise, ”Does Prince Ning wish to keep Luo Shang for company? Well then, Luo Shang, you needn’t leave!”

”Ding Qiu, throw out these obstacles!”

He looked at the four martial artists beside Prince Ning and grinned, ”Anyone who dares resist, just chop them down for me!”

He said such a sentence with a brilliant smile.

An intense killing aura filled the room as if it were tangible, terrifying the bevy of beauties into trembling.

”Yes, sir!” Ding Qiu didn’t care for anything else; since Yang Zhenshan had already given the order, he had only to execute it.

Without another word, he went up, grabbed the collars of those four martial artists and threw them out.

These martial artists were quite skilled, but under the watchful eye of Yang Zhenshan, and with Ding Qiu personally making a move, they were thrown out just like sandbags.

”Marquis Jing’an, how dare you show such disrespect to this Prince!” Prince Ning was furiously agitated.

Yang Zhenshan’s gaze turned sharp as he glanced at him, and then his face broke into a smile again.

”Ladies, do not stop, come on, continue the music and the dance!”

”This is old man’s first visit to a brothel, don’t hold back ladies, you must let this old man broaden his horizons!”

”Hey, Luo Shang, don’t just stand there, see Prince Ning to a seat!”

”Go and have the old madam bring up the wine and dishes!”

Yang Zhenshan ordered unabashedly as if he were the one in charge.

”Your Highness, please, take a seat!” Luo Shang, somewhat frightened, yet went ahead to move a chair for Prince Ning, while Ding Qiu brought over a table.

Prince Ning’s face alternated between pale and flushed.

Princes are noble, but unless one is the Crown Prince, that nobility means just that.

Naturally, Yang Zhenshan couldn’t do anything to Prince Ning, but to vent his anger on Prince Ning’s guards and attendants was not a problem.

”Miss, play the zither!” Yang Zhenshan saw that the ladies were neither playing the zither nor dancing and reminded them.

Upon hearing his words, the zither maiden actually began to play.

The music was melodious, carrying an ethereal charm.

Yang Zhenshan was taken aback upon hearing it.

He thought the music in Chunman Building was all frivolous, not expecting such a celestial quality.

Although he did not understand music theory, he still had a level of appreciation, after all, in his previous life he had also enjoyed listening to various kinds of music.

At that moment, the old madam brought up the food and wine with several helpers, glancing at Prince Ning whose face was flush, and then carefully addressing Yang Zhenshan, ”My lord, here are the drinks and dishes!”

”Hmm, you all may leave!”

”Ladies, don’t just stand there, dance!”

Yang Zhenshan didn’t pay any attention to the old madam and watched with interest the three lithe maidens.

The three maidens, still startled, weren’t sure whether to dance, but under the old madam’s urging glance, they began to move.

Yang Zhenshan took a light sip of his drink, nodding with satisfaction.

Not bad, not bad.

No wonder everyone likes visiting brothels, the pleasure of it is indeed quite refined.

”Old Luo, after so many years, why have you never taken me to a brothel?”

Yang Zhenshan looked at Luo Shang with some dissatisfaction.

Look at those wealthy merchants; to bribe officials, they constantly came up with all sorts of schemes, yet you, Old Luo, just won’t play along, not even sending a beauty over.

Not sending a beauty is one thing, but at least you could’ve taken me out to broaden my horizons!

”Cough cough~~” Luo Shang was choked by Yang Zhenshan’s words, ”My lord, that joke isn’t funny at all!”

”Boring!”

Yang Zhenshan leaned back in his chair, watching Prince Ning who was still angry.

”Your Highness, I’m a simple man and least fond of playing roundabout tricks; when we return, I will present a petition asking for Prince Ning to be granted a fiefdom!”

”What!” Prince Ning doubted he heard correctly.

Asking me to be granted a fiefdom!!

Damn it, this old man is really malicious!

”Has Prince Ning forgotten? His Majesty has commanded me to take Prince An and Prince Dai as my disciples!”

”No, Prince Ning must be here because of that to seek out Luo Shang, aren’t you?”

Yang Zhenshan thought about it and felt it was very likely because of this.

What else could Princes do besides vying for the throne?

If it was simply for money, they wouldn’t risk offending an Innate Martial Artist.

”Sigh~~”

”Seems like I have no choice but to present a petition!”

Yang Zhenshan had intended to merely scare Prince Ning, but now it seemed he had no choice but to make a real petition.

”You can’t, Marquis Jing’an! If you dare to present a petition, this Prince will not let you off!” Prince Ning roared somewhat in panic.
