Ghost Catching System

Chu Hao was satisfied with the bandit’s performance. Feigning pretentiousness again, he said, ”What did this Divine Deity say before? Don’t disturb my sleep. Slap your own face.”

The bandit was seen sweating profusely, standing rooted to the spot, continuously slapping his own cheeks.

SMACK! SMACK!

The harder he slapped, the more his face swelled. In pain, the bandit cried, ”Divine Deity, I was wrong! I was wrong! I won’t dare to do it again!”

Chu Hao said indifferently, ”You know you’re wrong now? What were you doing earlier? If you commit suicide, you can still spare yourself the torment.”

The bandit reeled. Suicide?! Are you kidding me? Just because he says I should commit suicide, I have to do it?

But in the next moment, everyone’s eyes widened. The bandit took a dagger from his pocket and fiercely stabbed it into his own chest.

PFFT! The dagger pierced his heart, and he collapsed, his face a mask of terror.

”Ding... Host’s self-directed and self-performed pretentious act successful, 900 Pretentiousness Points gained.”

How is that possible? The Clown Leader and the Teletubby Bandits were utterly dumbfounded. Is this person really a Divine Deity?

Qiu Qianxue also stared blankly. She knew better than anyone that Chu Hao had controlled the bandit. However, she hadn’t expected the bandit to commit suicide merely on Chu Hao’s words. Such a level of control was far too terrifying.

”Stop disturbing my sleep. This is your last warning.”

After speaking, Chu Hao closed his eyes, continuing to appear half-asleep.

The Teletubby Bandit, looking at the body on the ground, swallowed hard and said, ”Boss, what... what on earth is going on here?”

The Clown Bandit said warily, ”You’re asking me? Who should I ask? I feel like we’ve been set up. This guy is definitely no ordinary person.”

The Teletubby Bandit nodded, saying, ”Yeah! Are we still kidnapping people or not?”

The Clown Leader said, ”I don’t believe he’d ignore everyone else’s lives. Brother Qiang! Go grab a hostage.”

Brother Qiang nodded and walked over to seize a passenger, a middle-aged woman. Seeing Brother Qiang grab her, she let out a scream like a pig being slaughtered.

Chu Hao opened his eyes and said coldly, ”It seems some people aren’t listening.”

Then, Brother Qiang was seen playing along with Chu Hao’s act. He dropped to his knees with a thud and kowtowed repeatedly. THUD! THUD! THUD! His head even started to bleed from the impacts.

Everyone was stunned. He can control someone with just a single word?

The Clown Leader exclaimed, ”Brother Qiang, what’s wrong with you?”

Brother Qiang cried out, ”Boss, I... I can’t control myself! Save me! Save me!”

Brother Qiang continued to kowtow; his performance was very dedicated.

”Ding... Host’s self-directed and self-performed double pretentious act successful, 1,000 Pretentiousness Points gained.”

From a distance, Qiu Qianxue’s sexy mouth gaped open. You can actually play it like this! she thought. Only she knew what Chu Hao had done; Brother Qiang was clearly cooperating with Chu Hao’s performance.

The audience was silent as Brother Qiang kept kowtowing, the sickening THUD! THUD! sounds making hearts race, until he knocked himself out cold.

The Clown Leader was drenched in cold sweat, now even more convinced that the one before them was not human, but a god.

They considered themselves professional bandits, yet they had never encountered such a situation. Now, their hearts were filled with nothing but dread and fear.

The Teletubby Bandit whispered, ”Boss, I... what do we do now?”

How the hell would I know what to do? The Clown Leader gritted his teeth and said, ”Abandon the mission! Grab what we can and get out of here quickly.”

The Teletubby Bandit nodded. Chu Hao was just too eerie.

However, when a bandit went to grab another passenger, someone shouted, ”Divine Superior, save me!”

That bandit, also under control, looked at the passenger crying for help, his face filled with horror.

Suddenly, the bandit began to apologize profusely, saying, ”Sorry, sorry.”

What does that mean?

Then, the bandit was seen taking out a dagger and viciously stabbing his own heart, as if to display his profound remorse.

Another one dead. Utterly without warning.

Fear, extreme fear, gripped them. The Clown Leader, sweating profusely, ordered, ”Retreat! Quickly, get out of the first-class cabin! This person is a devil!”

The others scrambled back, completely petrified.

A passenger suddenly shouted, ”Wait, my bank card!”

These passengers were really plucking up their courage.

The bandit carrying the laptop jogged over, respectfully handed back the bank card, and said, ”Sir, I’m sorry. This is your bank card; the money has been returned.”

The passenger took the bank card with a look of utter disbelief. The previously fierce bandit had turned into a docile little lamb.

”Mine too! And mine!”

The passengers grew agitated. These bandits had completely changed. Did Chu Hao control them?

After returning all the bank cards, this bandit took out a dagger and stabbed it into his own heart.

The remaining bandits were scared out of their wits. One fell to his knees with a thud and cried, ”Divine Superior, I was wrong! I won’t dare to do it again!”

One after another, they knelt, all begging for mercy. This performance deserved full marks.

The Clown Leader and the Teletubby Bandit also knelt. By now, they were utterly dumbfounded, only hoping Chu Hao wouldn’t kill them.

One bandit took out some rope and, looking pitifully at a passenger, pleaded, ”Sir, please help!”

The passenger jumped and asked, ”Help with what?”

The bandit replied, ”Help tie me up! I want to turn myself in.” He started to wail, ”WAAAH... this place is too terrifying!”

Passenger: ”...”

”Ding... Host’s self-directed and self-performed pretentious act successful, 900 Pretentiousness Points gained.”

Another bandit threw away everything he had on him and begged, ”Me too! Tie me up as well, please!”

A few brave passengers rushed forward and tied up the bandits. Not one of them dared to move. In the end, they were all bound like rice dumplings.

The Clown Leader and the Teletubby Bandit were utterly crushed, both still dreading Chu Hao.

The Clown Leader said, ”Tie me up too.”

The Teletubby Bandit also said, ”And me!”

The group of bandits actively sought to be tied up, as if only by doing so could they save their own lives.

At this moment, everyone’s excitement was palpable. Just who is Chu Hao?

A passenger said, ”Shush! Keep it down. That great god is sleeping. Don’t disturb him.”

”That’s right, let’s keep our voices down.”

The crowd was on edge; they now revered Chu Hao as a divine being, a God.

The hijacking had ended like a complete farce.

Qiu Qianxue walked up to Chu Hao. To those unaware, he simply looked asleep.

A flight attendant, seeing Qiu Qianxue approach Chu Hao, was startled and called out, ”Qianxue, come over here! Don’t bother the Divine Deity!”

Qiu Qianxue was speechless. His act was so convincing; he made everyone believe it.

She whispered to Chu Hao, ”Thank you.”

Chu Hao opened his eyes, a hearty smile spreading across his face. He waved his hand and said, ”It’s nothing, just lent a hand.”

For him, it was merely a simple gesture, but in everyone else’s eyes, Chu Hao had saved every single person on the airplane.
