Ghost Catching System

A row of girls, with potential that was an easy seven or eight out of ten—their graceful figures and tiny waists you could almost enclose with one hand—were showing off their charming allure.

Qin Zhengyu pointed to one on the left and said, ”This one can go; the others stay.”

So assertive, just as Brother Hao thought, Chu Hao silently approved.

Chu Hao gave him a look. You did well, it conveyed.

Qin Zhengyu smiled and said, ”Brother Hao, these girls are for the second part of the program. The SPA coming up is the official part, but...”

Chu Hao, too, was full of curiosity. At nineteen, there was still a lot he hadn’t experienced.

Qin Zhengyu asked again, ”Brother Hao, you just said that Zhang Chuan and his companion are headed for a bloody disaster. Is that true?”

Chu Hao glanced at him and said, ”Do you doubt my ability?”

Qin Zhengyu felt embarrassed and quickly said, ”Of course not. If Brother Hao says they’re facing a bloody disaster, then they most certainly are.”

Chu Hao nodded with pride and said, ”Within a day, something’s sure to happen to both of them. You should believe in Brother Hao’s ability.”

However, although Chu Hao could foresee a bloody disaster befalling others, he failed to see his own impending one!

「The SPA Lobby.」

”Welcome.”

Two young women walked in, each more beautiful than the last, making the female staff members feel inadequate.

Tang Mo wore shorts that accentuated her porcelain-white figure, outlining her shapely contours, and a ponytail that gave her a uniquely refreshing look.

The other young woman, Chu Hao recognized as Fang Jingxue.

Fang Jingxue was dressed casually, her elegant figure unable to hide her aura of righteousness; after all, she used to be with the criminal police.

The phrasing ”used to be” was key because Fang Jingxue had since passed the exams to join the special organization, the Seventh District, achieving outstanding results. For this, she had Chu Hao to thank, as he had taught her the art of exorcism.

If Chu Hao saw these two together, he surely would have found it strange.

Fang Jingxue said, ”Mo, you still haven’t told me what you’re doing in Anli City.”

Tang Mo was clearly in a bad mood. ”Looking for someone.”

Fang Jingxue, puzzled, said, ”You came all the way here personally just to find someone? Couldn’t you just make a phone call?”

Tang Mo felt helpless. You think I didn’t want to just call?

But that guy! His phone has been off for a whole week! She was seething with annoyance.

Tang Mo said, ”Let’s not talk about it. I’m not in a good mood. Waitress, arrange a sunbath for us.”

”Certainly, right this way,” the attendant said.

Fang Jingxue found it odd. Tang Mo always does as she pleases. To come all the way to Anli City personally for someone... could it be a boyfriend?

It was like discovering a new continent! This career woman has a boyfriend?

She’d almost forgotten that she was a career woman herself, once a notoriously fierce beauty in the criminal police force.

Suddenly, Tang Mo asked, ”Speaking of which, you got into the Seventh District. I forgot to congratulate you.”

Fang Jingxue felt a slight surge of pride. After all, the Seventh District wasn’t an easy place to get into. Only two or three individuals at the city level managed to pass the rigorous selection process each year. Moreover, she had joined leveraging her exorcism skills, distinguishing her from the ”panda-eyed” paper-pushers; she was a higher-level field agent.

”I owe it all to my master.”

Tang Mo, curious, asked, ”Your master?”

”Yeah, my master,” she confirmed.

The two women chatted intermittently.

「Meanwhile, in the room next to theirs.」

The room was luxurious and could even simulate the effect of a seaside beach.

In front of them stood a row of young women in bikinis, some holding fruit and others beer, serving the two wealthy clients.

Chu Hao was very satisfied; the massage and tuina were superb. Wealthy people certainly know how to live! he mused.

At that moment, Qin Zhengyu clapped his hands and said, ”That’s enough. The rest of you can go out.”

When he said those words, the massage therapists sensibly withdrew, knowing what the two gentlemen intended next.

In the luxurious room, only the bikini-clad young women, Chu Hao, and Qin Zhengyu remained.

Qin Zhengyu pulled over a young woman and smiled. ”Brother Hao, now you’re Emperor Huang. So, how do you want to enjoy yourself? Just do as you please!”

Before him stood eight or nine bikini-clad young women. Their skin, luminous and tenderly white under the light, along with their sharply defined figures, made Chu Hao secretly swallow.

Chu Hao asked, ”Play as I like?”

Qin Zhengyu nodded with a smile and said, ”Play as you like. Brother Hao, if you’re embarrassed, there’s a private room over there.”

Chu Hao pointed at a young woman and said, ”Come here.”

The young woman was Western, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and captivatingly long legs. She was significantly fairer than Asian women. Seeing Chu Hao point at her, she approached him with a charming allure.

”Hello, sir,” the Western young woman said in English.

Chu Hao’s face turned a bit red as he responded in English, ”Hello.”

The Western young woman, surprised, said, ”Sir, your English is very good.”

Chu Hao saw that Qin Zhengyu had already gotten started. With so many people here, are these girls just going to stand around and watch? he wondered.

Chu Hao took the young woman to another area.

Chu Hao felt a bit restrained and asked curiously, ”How long have you been doing this job?”

The Western young woman smiled faintly and responded fluently in English, ”Three years now.”

She’d seen many like Chu Hao before: young men brimming with questions, intensely curious about how they’d entered this profession. Some even attempted to persuade them to ”reform”—all sorts of peculiar types, really.

Predictably, Chu Hao sighed. ”Ah... such a fine young woman. How did you fall into this?”

The long-legged Western young woman smiled and said, ”Sir, you won’t despise me, will you?”

”How could I? Everyone has their circumstances. I just think that you could completely avoid doing this sort of work for a living.”

As expected, the Western young woman thought, the young man is starting his ’save the prostitute’ routine.

The Western young woman said, ”Sir, aren’t you going to start? Your friend has already begun enjoying himself.”

Chu Hao looked through the window. Qin Zhengyu had already started, cavorting with several young women at once—hardly different from an Emperor.

Chu Hao’s face darkened. How embarrassing! he fumed. My ”innocent” self only picked one. I should have brought in a few more! What a wasted chance!

Chu Hao regretted it a bit and said, ”I’m not in a hurry; there’s plenty of time. Tell me more about why you do this job.”

Then, the ”innocent” Chu Hao started chatting with the Western young woman, growing more interested as they talked.

He pondered, Why do people fall to such depths? Is it moral degradation, or is there some other reason?

After a while, the Western young woman said, ”Sir, you’re not a journalist, are you?”

”Do I look like one?”

”We don’t allow exposure here, or else we’ll have to find another place to make money.”

Chu Hao was also ready to get started and said, ”Don’t worry, I’m a good person.”

The Western young woman rolled her eyes. A ”good person” coming to a place like this? Yeah, right. Who’d believe that?

Just then, the door was flung open, and a group of police officers walked in, shouting, ”Don’t move! Police raid on prostitution!”

Chu Hao: ”...”

Qin Zhengyu: ”...”

The two were thoroughly enjoying themselves when, suddenly, a group of police officers barged in, leaving them completely dumbfounded.
