Ghost Catching System

The first time Chu Hao saw such a beautiful flight attendant, his eyes lit up. Unlike other girls, this was his first encounter with a flight attendant. She was beautiful, her looks in no way inferior to Luo Yan’s. He felt a unique sensation as he said, ”Get me a glass of water, please.”

”Sure.” The flight attendant poured Chu Hao a glass of water.

At this moment, Chu Hao noticed that the flight attendant’s complexion wasn’t too good, with a faint darkness between her eyebrows—a harbinger of disaster. Although it wouldn’t be fatal, it could still lead to financial loss or, at worst, significant injuries.

Chu Hao asked, ”Miss, your brow looks dark. Want me to read your fortune?”

Qiu Qianxue was taken aback and sized Chu Hao up. She was beautiful and had been approached by many, so she was already used to it. But Chu Hao’s way of hitting on her had the feel of a street swindler.

Qiu Qianxue politely responded, ”No need, sir. The plane is about to take off. Please fasten your seatbelt.”

Chu Hao rubbed his nose. He felt incredibly lucky today. If he could get the WeChat ID of such a pretty young woman, he could boast about it. Especially to that guy Li Yin, who was practically obsessed with flight attendants, utterly infatuated.

Chu Hao said earnestly, ”Indeed, your brow is dark. You’re not only going to lose money soon, but some other unfortunate things are going to happen to you.”

Loss of money! Bad things! Qiu Qianxue’s gaze flickered with disdain. Where had she lost money? This young man’s flirting was just too cliché, with no freshness at all. Moreover, she already had a boyfriend, although it had only been a week since they started dating.

”Sir, I haven’t lost any money, nor have any bad things happened,” Qiu Qianxue replied with a professional smile.

Chu Hao calculated again. It couldn’t be! He couldn’t have miscalculated.

”Think about it. Have you lost something?”

Qiu Qianxue became even more certain that he was hitting on her. So young, and instead of learning something useful, he’s learning how to pick up girls.

Qiu Qianxue just shook her head and was about to leave.

Suddenly, her phone rang. It was her boyfriend, asking what time she finished work and telling her he had prepared a candlelit dinner.

Qiu Qianxue said, ”Five hours.”

”Okay, I’ll wait for you.”

After hanging up, Qiu Qianxue decided to ignore Chu Hao and attended to the next passenger.

Chu Hao stroked his chin. Something wasn’t right. Brother Hao was supposed to be invincible; how could his flirting fail?

Qiu Qianxue turned heads. Among all the flight attendants, she was stunning. Every man in first class wanted to talk to her. On her way down the aisle, two other men besides Chu Hao tried to chat her up. Their moves were much smoother than Chu Hao’s.

As the plane took off, Qiu Qianxue returned to her seat. She thought about what Chu Hao had said—that she’d lose money?

That’s impossible, Qiu Qianxue chuckled, her smile like a blossoming flower bud.

Suddenly, Qiu Qianxue’s smile vanished. She realized the ring on her hand was gone!

”AH! Where... where did my ring go?” Qiu Qianxue exclaimed, her face paling in alarm.

That ring was extremely important to her. It was a gift from her grandmother and said to be a family heirloom. Even her mother had told her to take good care of it.

Usually, Qiu Qianxue kept the ring at home. Yesterday, however, on a whim because she thought it was pretty, she wore it out. Now it was missing.

”Qianxue, what’s wrong?” asked another pretty flight attendant.

Qiu Qianxue said with an anxious face, ”I... I’ve lost my ring.”

The other flight attendant was also shocked. ”You mean the ring your grandmother passed down to you?”

”Yes.”

The other flight attendant also said anxiously, ”How could you be so careless? Think quickly, where could you have lost it?”

Qiu Qianxue was extremely anxious. After the plane was airborne, she unbuckled her seatbelt and went to search. Some flight attendants who saw her also helped.

They had seen Qiu Qianxue’s ancestral ring; it was a jade ring of very fine quality. They had once seen online that a ring of even lesser quality than Qiu Qianxue’s heirloom was valued at fourteen million.

This was a family heirloom, and incredibly valuable.

After searching for a while and still not finding it, Qiu Qianxue became even more anxious.

”How could this happen!” Qiu Qianxue was almost crying.

”Don’t worry, Qianxue. Think carefully about where you’ve been. When could you have lost the ring?” said a flight attendant.

Qiu Qianxue thought hard. She remembered what Chu Hao had said earlier—about her suffering a financial loss! Could he have taken her ring?

It was possible. However, Qiu Qianxue didn’t believe in fortune-telling. Deep down, she always believed that destiny was in her own hands and that success could be achieved through hard work.

Qiu Qianxue quickly walked to first class. When she reached Chu Hao’s seat, he was gone. This made her even more certain.

Could he have taken my ring and gotten off the plane? Qiu Qianxue’s face filled with despair.

Just then, a commotion erupted from economy class. A group of people stormed into first class. They wore masks, held guns and knives, and shouted, ”This is a hijacking! Nobody fucking move!”

”A hijacking!”

The previously quiet passengers instantly turned pale. These hijackers were incredibly audacious, daring to seize a plane in Huaxia Imperial Capital’s airspace! People screamed and cowered, shielding their heads.

The hijackers stormed into the cockpit and quickly returned, giving an OK gesture to a tall man wearing a clown mask.

Clearly, the flight attendants also realized what had happened—the pilots had been overpowered. This was very bad news.

”Boss, we have complete control of this plane,” one of them reported.

The man in the clown mask nodded and said to a shorter man beside him, ”Proceed with the plan.”

The short, masked man took out a notebook.

A bald man wearing a ’Bald Strong’ mask spoke fiercely, ”Everyone, take out your bank cards and start transferring money! Anyone who dares to hide anything gets a bullet!”

The passengers were in utter despair.

Qiu Qianxue cowered in a corner, her face pale.

Financial loss... something bad happening... Chu Hao had predicted it all. The lost ring was the financial loss, but what was the bad thing?

”TSK TSK... that chick is gorgeous. I’ve never seen such a beautiful flight attendant,” the man in the ’Bald Strong’ mask said, his voice excited as he pointed at Qiu Qianxue.

There were seven hijackers in total, and they now controlled the entire cabin. The leader in the clown mask said, ”She’s attractive, but don’t forget our objective.”

The man in the ’Bald Strong’ mask chuckled. ”Just a little fun, Boss!”

The leader thought for a moment. ”Don’t take too long.”

The bald man was ecstatic. ”Alright! I’ll be quick. Give me half an hour!”

The other hijackers looked on enviously. The man in the ’Bald Strong’ mask had been with the leader the longest and usually got first pick of any spoils.

As the bald man approached, Qiu Qianxue, though her head was down, sensed someone nearing. She looked up and screamed.
