Ghost Catching System

The bald, hulking man in a mask squatted down and grabbed Qiu Qianxue by the neck. Her snow-white neck, so delicate it seemed it would break if touched, turned slightly red where he squeezed it, a pitiful sight.

He pulled out a dagger and slid it across Qiu Qianxue’s cheek. ”Get up. Follow me to the restroom.”

Qiu Qianxue turned deathly pale. Even a fool would know what this robber intended to do.

”Don’t! Please, spare me,” Qiu Qianxue begged, her face now thoroughly colorless from fright.

”Tsk tsk... What a beauty! Even begging for mercy is so sexy. I like it,” he said. With that, the bald, hulking man in the mask dragged Qiu Qianxue toward the restroom.

No one dared to say a word. When a pilot was pulled out, he couldn’t help but exclaim, ”It’s one thing to rob us, but what kind of human acts like this?!”

The bald, hulking man in the mask glanced at him. With a swift motion of his dagger, he slashed the pilot’s neck. Blood splattered everywhere as the pilot collapsed to the ground, a look of disbelief on his face.

Everyone screamed. Has this robber gone mad? they thought. He actually killed the pilot! Who’s going to fly the plane now?

Fear, unparalleled fear, engulfed them.

A flight attendant screamed and rushed to the pilot. He wasn’t dead yet; his eyes were wide open, and blood kept bubbling from his throat.

”Captain! Captain!” The other flight attendants panicked.

One of the robbers chuckled. ”Brother Qiang is as fierce as ever. This guy was just unlucky.”

”Exactly.”

Soon, a man wearing a Teletubbies Mask approached the Clown Mask Leader. ”Boss, the target isn’t here?”

The leader was surprised. ”How could he not be here?! We clearly followed him on board. Could he have realized he was being followed?”

The man nodded. ”It’s very possible.”

It turned out that these robbers’ objective was not merely robbery. Their primary goal was to capture Chu Hao alive and take him back with them. They had boarded the plane following him, but now he had vanished.

”Search quickly! Find him!” the leader ordered.

「And Chu Hao.」

He was crouching in the restroom, his face strained with constipation. Wasn’t I supposed to be having good luck today? he wondered. Failing at flirting was one thing, but then my stomach started killing me.

Finally feeling much relieved, he suddenly heard a scream from outside.

”Please, no! Don’t do this! SOB SOB SOB...”

When Chu Hao heard that, vivid images flashed through his mind. That voice is actually quite beautiful, he thought absently.

Wait, what kind of messed up things am I thinking? Chu Hao was suddenly furious. In broad daylight, on an airplane, someone actually dares to force a woman into something like this? They must have the heart of a bear and the gall of a leopard!

The bald, hulking man in the mask dragged Qiu Qianxue into the restroom, ready to savor this exquisite ”jade.”

Qiu Qianxue was in utter despair. Every word Chu Hao had spoken had come true, and oh, how she wished someone would come to her rescue.

It’s over, Qiu Qianxue despaired. If only I had a knife, I could kill myself. I’d rather die than be humiliated!

”Beauty, here I come,” the man leered.

Just as the hulking man was about to pounce, the restroom door behind him was kicked open, slamming hard into the back of his shiny, bald head. With a loud ”ARGH!”, he collapsed, out cold.

Chu Hao had been preparing to make his grand entrance and rescue the damsel in distress.

However, seeing the hulking man knocked out by the door, he was struck speechless. Brother Hao hasn’t even made a move, and you’re already down? You’re too fragile!

Qiu Qianxue stared in disbelief. It’s like I’ve seen an Angel! No... Angel feels like a strange way to describe him. He’s more like my Savior!

Chu Hao stepped out of the other restroom stall. Seeing Qiu Qianxue, he paused, taken aback. ”Miss, what’s going on here?”

When Qiu Qianxue saw it was Chu Hao, her face lit up with ecstatic joy. She had just been replaying his earlier words in her mind.

”Someone’s hijacking the plane!” Qiu Qianxue exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement.

Upon hearing this, Chu Hao was dumbfounded. Is this the ’good luck’ I needed to show off? A hijacking, something that happens once in a blue moon, and Brother Hao actually ran into it!

Chu Hao calmly said, ”It’s okay. You still have me, don’t you?”

My naive young man, Qiu Qianxue thought, her face turning pale. What can you possibly do? They have guns!

”Don’t... don’t go out!” she pleaded. ”Those hijackers have guns. If they start shooting, they could damage the plane! We’re at an altitude of 10,000 meters; if anything happens to the plane, everyone will die!”

It had to be said, even at a time like this, Qiu Qianxue was still thinking of everyone else’s safety.

Chu Hao said, ”Oh.”

’Oh,’ my foot! Qiu Qianxue thought helplessly. Did he even listen to a word I said?

Chu Hao pulled her to her feet and smiled. ”I told you before, you have a dark mark between your brows. Looks like I was right, huh?”

Qiu Qianxue said bitterly, ”Yes, you were right, but that’s not the issue right now! There are so many people on this plane, and the criminals are ruthless. They’ll find us sooner or later!”

Chu Hao waved his hand dismissively, an air of cool arrogance on his face. ”Let them come.”

”I... I!”

Qiu Qianxue felt like crying. Just how terrible is my luck! I thought I was finally saved, but instead, I’ve run into an arrogant, conceited lunatic!

Chu Hao asked, ”You just said they can’t shoot, right?”

Qiu Qianxue nodded.

Chu Hao said to the System, System, purchase a Command Paperman.

”DING... Host has purchased a Command Paperman, consuming 500 Pretentiousness Points.”

Item: Command Paperman

Rarity: None

Ability: Control a person’s thoughts and actions for ten hours.

This was a minor Mystical Art, similar to a sorcerer’s ability to control ’gu’ insects. Chu Hao stuffed the Command Paperman into the mouth of the bald man in the mask, forcing him to swallow it.

”By edict, be swift!” Chu Hao intoned.

Instantly, the man’s eyes snapped open, and he abruptly stood up. Qiu Qianxue screamed in fright and clung tightly to Chu Hao.

Chu Hao felt her soft body pressed against him, her fragrance intoxicating. She smells amazing, he thought. He patted her shoulder and said, ”It’s okay. He’s under my control now.”

Qiu Qianxue opened her eyes. Seeing the man’s wooden, expressionless face, she looked utterly surprised.

”Wh-what happened to him?”

Chu Hao said, ”He’s fallen under my Mystical Art.”

Qiu Qianxue, mustering her courage, waved her hand in front of the man’s eyes. Seeing his face remain blank and unresponsive, she exclaimed in amazement, ”Wh-what is a Mystical Art?!”

”You can think of it as something like what a Yin Yang Master does.”

Qiu Qianxue wasn’t stupid; she had seen plenty of movies. Yin Yang Masters... Aren’t they the ones who deal with Ghosts? she thought.

Chu Hao pulled out several more Command Papermen and handed them to the bald man. ”Go. Have the others swallow these. And be discreet.”

The man nodded, put his mask back on, and walked out.

Qiu Qianxue stared after him, her face a picture of disbelief. ”Will he... Will he really help us?”

Chu Hao nodded. ”Don’t worry. By the way, Miss, you should have listened to me earlier and let me read your fortune. Then none of this would have happened.”

Qiu Qianxue looked somewhat embarrassed. ”I... I thought you were a con artist back then.”

Chu Hao touched his own face and asked earnestly, ”Do I look like a con artist?”

Qiu Qianxue couldn’t help but chuckle. This Chu Hao... he’s actually quite interesting, and rather amazing, she suddenly thought.

「In First Class.」

When one of the hijackers saw the bald man walk out, he asked excitedly, ”Brother Qiang! How was she? Good taste?”

The bald man chuckled and gave a thumbs-up. ”Needless to say. Absolutely top-notch!”
