Flash Marriage: He is a Wife-pampering Addict

Chapter 934: 933 There are so many light bulbs downstairs

Bai Xiaoxiao stared in shock as Mo Xiuchen led Wen Ran by the hand toward the staircase, “Ranran, come upstairs with me, I have something to say to you.”

“Mo Xiuchen, we are waiting for you to cook, what are you doing upstairs?” Gu Kai immediately intervened upon seeing Mo Xiuchen leading Wen Ran upstairs, worried that he would have to enter the kitchen if Mo Xiuchen didn’t come back down.

“Let Ah Feng cook.” Mo Xiuchen’s voice came from the staircase, and Luo Haofeng’s face immediately changed, “Mo Xiuchen, didn’t you promise Ah Kai that you were going to cook? How come you’re dragging me into this…”

“Just go, stop talking.”

As Bai Xiaoxiao saw Mo Xiuchen’s gaze sweep over like a cold wind, she instinctively covered Luo Haofeng’s mouth with her hand, stopping him from speaking further.

Fearing she might also get into trouble, she forgot about the consequences her actions would bring, as everyone began to look at them with suggestively ambiguous gazes.

“Fine, I’ll go instead.”

“Do you know how?”

Luo Haofeng grabbed her wrist as she got up, pulling her back onto the couch.

Without waiting for her to get angry, he stood up, “You sit here, I’ll help in the kitchen. Mo Xiuchen will come back down soon.”

“Will he come down that quickly?”

Bai Xiaoxiao was doubtful, considering Mo Xiuchen hadn’t seen Wen Ran all day, he wouldn’t leave her to cuddle and kiss her for hours before he’d be willing to face everyone downstairs.

“It’s okay if he doesn’t come down – we still have Ah Kai and Ah Jin.” Luo Haofeng’s gaze shifted towards Gu Kai. If Gu Kai hadn’t talked too much just now, would Mo Xiuchen have let him cook?

“Mo Xiuchen, what’s up?”

Wen Ran and Mo Xiuchen went upstairs together, entered the master bedroom, and after she put down her briefcase, she asked gently.

Mo Xiuchen closed the door, pulled her into his arms, and without a word, he kissed her.

“Mo Xiuchen…”

Wen Ran’s face flushed, her eyes wide with surprise as she looked at the handsome yet rogue man in front of her. With so many people waiting downstairs, had he brought her up just to kiss her?

“Ranran, don’t speak, I’ve missed you.”

“Mo Xiuchen, stop it.”

“Ranran, you didn’t go to work today, and I’m really not used to it.”

Wen Ran laughed, “Are you really the president of Haochen Corporation?”

“Do you want to verify it?”

Mo Xiuchen looked at her unflinchingly, his tone sounding like a very serious suggestion.

Wen Ran glared at him, “How would you verify it?”

“Take it off and check.”

“Keep dreaming. I wouldn’t check. If I wasn’t working with you every day, seeing how serious and dedicated you are at work, I would never believe that such a roguish man could be the same person the outside world talks about.”

“Haha, Ranran, that just proves how important you are to me.”

“What was it you wanted to talk about?”

Wen Ran brought the conversation back on track.

Mo Xiuchen held her and wouldn’t let go, and she didn’t struggle, simply nestling in his arms and tilting her face up to look at him.

“It’s nothing really, I just wanted to kiss you. There are too many light bulbs downstairs.” Mo Xiuchen’s hand stroked her hair, and his breathing mingled with her fresh, pleasant scent, rapidly dispelling the day’s fatigue.

Wen Ran’s heart softened, her arms wrapped around him, her face buried in his chest, listening to his steady and strong heartbeat and she tenderly said, “I’ve missed you too.”

“Ranran, Gu Kai said that you like the meals I prepare, is that true?”

Mo Xiuchen’s voice was deep and magnetic, and as it reached Wen Ran’s ears, her heart melted, “Yes, I do like the meals you make.”

“I’ll cook for you later.”

“No need, not tonight.” Wen Ran’s hands tightened around his waist.

Mo Xiuchen chuckled softly, “Why?”

Wen Ran lifted her head from his chest, her face slightly blushed under the light, looking as exquisite and smooth as fine jade, indescribably attractive.

For a moment, Mo Xiuchen wanted to do something more with her, but thinking of the people downstairs, he forcibly suppressed the urge to kiss her again.

“There are too many people tonight, I only want you to cook for me alone.” Wen Ran’s voice was naturally soft, and these words, coming from her mouth, added a hint of coquettish flavor, which naturally made Mo Xiuchen both proud and satisfied.

“Alright, then I won’t cook tonight. Ranran, you must be very tired after a day out, let me give you a massage.”

As soon as Mo Xiuchen finished speaking, he didn’t wait for Wen Ran to respond but bent down, scooping her up horizontally. Wen Ran, not expecting this, let out a low cry as she was lifted off her feet and quickly wrapped her arms around his neck.

“Mo Xiuchen, what are you doing, put me down.”

“Ranran, stay still, I’ll give you a massage.”

He held one hand on her body to prevent her from sitting up. Seeing her lie still, he smiled contentedly, grasped her foot, found the pressure point, and began massaging with just the right amount of pressure.

Although Wen Ran felt a bit guilty for enjoying herself all day and now making him, who had worked all day, massage her, she couldn’t escape from it, and the sensation was so comfortable that she soon allowed herself to fully enjoy it.

“Ranran, did you walk a lot today?”

Mo Xiuchen’s gaze moved away from her feet to look at her as she closed her eyes.

Wen Ran didn’t open her eyes, merely nodded slightly and whispered, “Yes, walked quite a bit. Xiaoxiao is leaving for D Country the day after tomorrow, and for a long while,we won’t be able to shop together, so I was especially excited today.”

“You don’t have to worry about her, Ah Feng has expanded their company’s business to D Country, and I’ve also instructed Secretary Wu, Bai Xiaoxiao won’t be bullied there.”

Mo Xiuchen’s hands continued the massage, his words low and gentle from his thin lips, soothing and charming.
