Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3738: Days of Quintessence II

Other True Sources revealed abilities intimately tied to their nature.

Infinity birthed Infinite Bloom as a natural extension of its identity.

Paradox granted Noah the ability of Amalgamation, where he could be wholly fused with a True Source... and yet not.

The True Source of Existence could rewrite moments that had just unfolded through the mysterious Echoes of the Unwritten.

Ruination imprisoned Bob in an endless spiral of ruin and despair.

Every True Source had its own flavor. Its own defiance of the norm.

Then came Noahʼs Lineage.

As the Origin Prime Osmontian Infinitum, he could manifest the sheer weight of his Lineageʼs Complexity Quotient and Purity Quotient in ways unlike anything else. And the first ability he grasped was something he called...

Perpetual Infinitum Override.

By exerting even a fraction of his Lineageʼs influence, any Source-based ability that sought to target or bind Noah would simply… fail. Reality itself bent to his Paracausal framework.

It was elegantly simple.

Unless oneʼs True Source was Paracausal, they could not harm him.

If fire tried to burn him, the moment it neared the blue-gold radiance of his Lineage, it would vanish, its heat stolen and its essence dissolved.

If Runes tried to engrave his skin, they would shatter before touching him, undone by pressure alone.

To so much as scratch him, a being would need to be Tyrannical, Quintessential, Protagonist, and laced with qualities of Infinity, just to align with his framework.

Only the Infiniverse Body came close.

Everyone else?

They were locked in a one-sided battle. Their True Sources fizzled into nothing the moment they neared him. And if they tried to defend themselves… he broke down their weavings as if they were paper beneath a storm.

There was only one other way to pierce his Perpetual Infinitum Override- a being needed a vastly higher Complexity and Purity Quotient. Something so overwhelmingly advanced that it could force its way through the override by sheer magnitude alone.

But even that wasnʼt the full extent of his power.

Beneath the surface of this ability was another, one he dubbed Weaverʼs Existential Synchronization.

It allowed him to instinctively understand, unravel, and refine any Source-based weaving he encountered.

In the past, he needed to drag defeated weavings into the Cradle of Purity to refine them and absorb what remained.

Now?

Now, the moment he laid eyes on a True Sourceʼs pattern… he could break it down, disrupt, and absorb it into himself. Instantly. Seamlessly.

A simplified, living version of the Cradle.

But to truly evolve, to meaningfully increase his Complexity and Purity, he had to refine something unique. Something greater. Something purer.

And that… was rare.

Of all the enemies his one hundred bodies faced, his own Paracausal Infinitum Veinbearers, the fading Legends of the collapsed Wheel...only two were of any worth.

One had devoured the core of a Broken Wheel.

And the other… was the Infiniverse.

And she… was maddening.

HUUM!

In front of one of his bodies, storms of Complexity and Purity raged, storms so dense they could shred a Resplendent Monad on contact.

The Infiniverse stood within them, adorned with multi-colored javelins rotating around her. But these werenʼt mere weapons.

They were Spokes.

True Frequencies manifested into form.

Her own evolved take on the Pillars of Concordance, personal, chaotic, stunning.

And Noah had to ask himself: Did he truly need to fight like a Harmonized Sourcebound Icon? Like a Resplendent Monad?

With their stifling reliance on Pillars and Mythic Signatures?

Or could he… be something else?

He remembered the feel of wielding an entire Frequency with his bare hands. The weight. The resonance.

The Infiniverse had taken that idea and spun it into reality. Around her, dozens of spear-like Frequencies rotated, glowing with unique colors, each capable of ripping through Resplendent Monads like paper.

She was terrifyingly radiant.

And then...

BOOM!

A detonation of prismatic force shattered the nearby Existence as the Javelins moved!

Noah body hurtled backward, slammed into a pillar of writhing blue-gold light. His fingers tightened, absorbing the damage into his lineage.

In front of him, she already hovered.

The Infiniverse.

A living conduit of collapse and rebirth. Dozens of javelins spun around her, rotating in patterns that defied logic, spokes of a wheel unseen.

Each javelin glowed with a unique color and resonance. Dreams. Genesis. Quantum. Prana. Helios. Continuity.

Every one held the weight of a True Source.

WHIIIRRR!

Five javelins screeched toward Noah a distance away, then bent the laws of existence and collapsed the distance to zero.

He didnʼt dodge.

He stepped forward.

The blue-gold halo of his Lineage pulsed, and three javelins vanished, consumed mid-flight, stripped of their integrity.

The fourth detonated against his shoulder.

BOOM!

It slowed him for half a heartbeat.

The fifth?

It stabbed through his side, leaking prana-infused essence.

And then, SNAP!

His lineage crushed it like glass.

The wound on his side sealed like it was never there.

The Infiniverse looked on coldly beneath her mask as her voice echoed out.

|Master, after all the True Frequencies I have formed, do you know where my Complexity and Purity now stand?|

…!

She posed a grand question.

Only a single day had passed.

But for Noah, and those bound to him, a day was an eternity.

The Infiniverse had formed dozens of True Frequencies in that time, her growth accelerating to an impossible pace.

Noah smiled as her status panel appeared.

She was reaching the upper bounds of Resplendent Monads, faster than anything heʼd ever witnessed.

And through her, he began to understand how Complexity and Purity were truly forged.

It wasnʼt a matter of summing up each True Sourceʼs values.

It was something else. Something deeper.

And he was still unraveling the sequence of how it all came together!

All the while, he studied her. Watched her surrounded by the spinning Spokes of the Wheel.

And he prepared.

Around him, blue-gold javelins formed, long, elegant triangles, each forged from his Paracausal Lineage. Each one ready to clash against the raw force of her Frequencies and what they stood for.

In the process of doing so, he was also gaining a deeper alignment of Continuity, Entropy, Manadynamics, and all the Frequencies she battered him with!

”I know where your Complexity and Purity stand...” he called out.

HUUM!

”Come on!”

He surged forward!

—

Beyond the Infiniverse Crucible, far from any battlefield.

His other body, traversing the Nullvein Gravewake Folds...came across something that wasnʼt just death or ruin after a day.

He was nearing the end of the liquified sludge of collapse, his Lineageʼs blue-gold glow keeping the paradoxes at bay.

And then… he saw it.

A landmass.

It didnʼt ripple with hostility.

It didnʼt scream danger.

Instead, it sat silently, a massive stretch of horizontal obsidian shaped like a Wheel. No Spokes jutted out. Instead, they were carved into its surface, etched deep into the obsidian like ancient scripture.

But that wasnʼt the shocking part.

The shocking part was what lived there.

Because yes, life dwelled there.

Noah saw figures, both Living and Dead, scattered across the landmass.

Above it, floating just meters off the ground were small metallic Wheels. Black. Obsidian. Some lodged into the soil. Others hovering, pulsing faintly.

And beyond this landmass? Round wheel like platforms, each another obsidian island filled with paradox, leading to an even grander expanse light-years away.

No conflict.

No Source surges.

Just… eerie peace.

Dead and Living Things coexisting, unmoving.

What the hell was this?

Just over a day after the collapse of his native Wheel, Noah had stumbled onto something entirely outside the Protagonistʼs pull.

It wasnʼt conflict. It wasnʼt an entanglement.

It was simply… there.

And it piqued his curiosity.

With no warning signs flaring in his mind, he drifted forward.

Intent on discovering what this land of silence and shadow truly was.
