Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3724: Line of Life and Death IV

The Nullvein Gravewake Folds, known for devouring those foolish enough to stray too far or too blind to see opened willingly for her glorious visage.

Her form was breathtaking- slender and tall, with crystalline white skin traced by glowing fractal veins pulsing faintly with life.

Hair like molten starlight and eyes lit by halcyon brilliance.

Around her pulsed her True Source- Eidrynthal, a majestic lattice of living geometries woven from sentient light and entropy-filtered truth.

It didnʼt orbit her.

It sang to her.

Eidrynthal- the living embodiment of ordered transcendence.

It didnʼt dominate through force but harmonized with such perfect precision that it recalibrated the Purity of other True Sources, rewriting their existence in real-time.

A Living Primarch of staggering power had arrived- just as the Wheel of Existence neared its Last Breaking.

And as she appeared, her golden hair danced in the current of blooming purple smoke, a lingering effect of the violent transition through the foldʼs ravaging fabric.

She lifted a trembling hand and summoned a violet book from the smoke, its surface adorned with a sigil- a gold and purple clock etched in impossible detail. As she opened it, her golden eyes drifted toward the shattering Wheel of Existence in the far distance.

”When… am I?”

…!

Not where- but when.

Her mind and weavings were scattered, disrupted by the traversal. The book fluttered to a page only she could read. Words etched in primordial light surfaced, and her gaze sharpened as she looked again at the collapsing Wheel, its white-gold brilliance now darkening into obsidian grandeur.

”It appears here? It must. Our calculations couldnʼt be that far off. Fold Slipping was reckless, but… I survived. Now I just need to find it.”

Fold Slipping.

A foreign term. A glorious term!

Determination hardened in her expression. Her body straightened, her power steadied. She stepped toward the Wheel leaking waves of death...

...and vanished from the Gravewake Folds.

The Folds began to overlap and twist behind her, closing as though they had never opened. The purple brilliance of her passage dwindled, the immense heat and temporal tension fading.

In less than a nanosecond, her weaving descended from the Nullvein Gravewake Folds into the Wheel of Existence itself- her figure warping through space as she arrived within the breaking Infinite Ravines.

—

Within the Infinite Ravines, Veltraxis grunted, pushing aside the searing white-gold flames that blistered even his formidable frame.

The power of the True Favored Living Thing had grown far beyond expectation- so much so that even he, a being at the level of a Converged Architect, felt genuine danger.

Had he not summoned the stronger Mawbearers of the Hollow Concord of Nullity, this place might have become his final grave.

But then...

TRIING!

Melodrass continued to strum his tune, his harmonics weaving through the fabric of existence. The True Favored Living Thingʼs defenses, protecting dozens of Legends while battling countless foes, began to strain.

In this clash of myth...

BOOM!

The empty torn sky-space of the Infinite Ravines shattered.

Power bloomed.

A presence far beyond even the Resplendent Monad tier arrived.

A Primarch!

Veltraxis recoiled. Deathly weavings trembled around him at the appearence of such a vibrant Living Thing.

”Are you fucking serious? Just how Favored is this Living Thing?!”

His voice cracked through the void as the presence drew closer- an overwhelming aura of something not dead.

A Living Thing.

Melodrassʼs tune faltered. He grew solemn as a Mythic True Signature rose around him.

At that very moment, the weavings of Noah, of The Witness, of Arthur—the Sea of Ash, and even the hidden specter of the Great Usurper, looked upward.

High above the decaying threads of dead True Sources, amidst the chaotic weavings of failure...

She appeared.

A golden-haired woman of unfathomable beauty.

A Primarch.

A Living Thing.

The moment she arrived, Veltraxis cursed.

But Noah… frowned.

She tucked away a book. Her eyes- twin golden suns, snapped into focus.

She didnʼt look at the Dead Things.

She looked at the Living.

Her gaze swept over Arthur and The Witness. It brushed over Noah, lingering faintly on the trail of flames surrounding him.

And then, she spoke.

Her voice was cold. Clear.

”Where is it?”

HUUM!

The question struck harder than any attack.

Where is it?

No one knew what she meant. No one dared speak.

Except the Witness.

Still wounded, still fighting despair, he tried.

”Esteemed Maʼam… could you assist us with these Dead Things first? Then we could—”

BOOM!

She vanished.

And appeared instantly before him.

Her hand wrapped around the Witnessʼs neck.

Purple Existential Dimensional Lattices erupted in a web of lines- instantly suppressing the True Source of Continuity itself. His muscles locked in horror. Even though his eyes couldnʼt perceive- her weavings had already bound him!

She held him like a childʼs toy.

Effortlessly.

Her gaze now turned to Noah and Arthur—the two remaining forces of power among the Living.

A dangerous light flashed in her eyes.

”I donʼt give a damn about a few Dead Things.”

...!

”The Key. Where is the Key? A Living Thing in this decaying Wheel shouldʼve obtained it recently. Iʼm literally running out of time. If I donʼt get what I came for- donʼt blame me when I shatter your weavings and tear your truths apart one by one to find what I need.”

…!

The atmosphere fractured.

In the distance, Veltraxis stood in stunned silence. Melodrass and the other Mawbearers were equally stunned.

This terrifying woman, unknown to them, unmatched in power- had arrived, and they thought sheʼd join the Living side.

Instead…

She attacked them.

And her presence radiated unstoppable resolve.

And Noah...Noah saw her name through his penetrating eyes.

[Primarch Eluriah Veilnox – A Time Sentinel of the Chronosect of Threadbound Folds]

…!

A terrifying variable had entered the battlefield. And she sought a Key that only a Living Thing could hold.

Noah sighed inwardly.

The answer was obvious.

He looked at the subtle glimmer of the Protagonistʼs weaving stretching through his form.

And he asked himself, not for the first time...

What the hell did I get pulled into this time?

Because a Living Thing obtaining a Key…

Could only be him!
