Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3728: Death and Prophecy II

For Noah, the breaking of the Wheel and the apocalyptic unraveling that followed triggered more than just destruction.

It triggered possibility.

His eyes flickered with brilliance as cascading prompts descended before him.

|Your Pathway to the True Sources of Apocalypse and Cataclysm has been walked thoroughly, becoming distinguished, complex, and pure enough to evolve into True Sources of Existence.|

Different parts of him rose, gloriously awakened.

And this was occurring even without the infusion of complexities currently being purified in the Cradle of Purity, complexities that included multiple Harmonized Sourcebound Icons and Converged Architects, all of them sourced from the Hollow Concord of Nullity.

The only Converged Architects he hadnʼt yet killed were the Mawbearers.

But once he finally took the time to sit, reflect, and absorb everything he had devoured, he expected many of his Pathways to True Sources would complete. Then, he could begin the process of Amalgamation, transforming them into Living True Sources of Existence as he enacted his Living Wheel and intricately designed its structure.

That was his path forward.

His future, unfolding.

And then there were the others.

Ruination.

The Infiniverse Wheel of Existence.

In this moment, their Complexity surged. Almost neck and neck. Ruination had consumed the core of the collapsing Wheel of Existence, bearing witness to its final ruin. For a brief heartbeat, their intricacies aligned a little while ago.

But the Infiniverse had just finished forming the True Frequency of Manadynamics, and had begun weaving multiple others simultaneously. It pulled ahead again, widening the gap.

Noah only smiled.

”Are you two ready?” he asked gently.

As they stood at the edge of the Wheelʼs end, even isolated as they were, the transformation from living to dead felt like it left a taint, a lingering shadow pressing into the soul.

If it wasnʼt necessary to bear it… they would leave. Before the stillness turned them into something less.

After all, his other self would bear the taint fully. Would become something between Dead and Living. Ozymandias would see it all!

The Infiniverse nodded, calm and certain.

Ruination looked upon the fading golden hues, now graying into death. Her voice, when it came, was solemn and epiphanic.

”So this is how it ends...not with screams, but with silence devouring existence itself. Death was never cruel, it was certain, and fair to all. Ruin was never chaos...it was purpose fulfilled. Simply an end. And the Wheel… it spun too long after Ruin tainted it. Now… it shall lie still. Endlessly so.”

Her words carried weight. And behind them, she burst with Complexity, her weavings strong enough to suppress a Resplendent Monad like the Sea of Ash with ease.

She turned to Noah and nodded.

”My gains will only increase as I go through the Nine Breakings of the Wheel of Existence. In their fracture, I see endless potential.”

They were both ready.

And so…

Noah offered a light nod, and they vanished.

And elsewhere, deep within the True Frequency of the Singed, now layered in dreary, death-stained Existential Dimensional Lattices, Noahʼs body burned in blue flame.

Here, Primarch Vaethrava, the Withering Sealroot, roared, the torn Frequency echoing with fury.

She had heard.

That Noah had escaped the grasp of another Primarch already!

Noahʼs gaze calmly met Vaethravaʼs. He observed the Dimensional Lattices laid before him, and he spoke softly.

”You reminded me of the wonders of Dimensions and Dimensionality with your Existential Dimensional Lattices. I thank you for this. When we meet again, I think Iʼll collapse your existence with something… related.”

His tone was relaxed. As if they were old friends exchanging promises over coffee.

And then he stepped forward and disappeared from the countless restrictions of the Lattices.

Because Ember Eternum, the Transient Paradoxical Living True Source, could not be contained!

Not by any prison.

Not by any force.

Not here.

In the death-ridden Weave where Hell Terra Firma had once stood, another of his bodies faded.

All of him...collapsed into the Infiniverse Wheel of Existence.

And in that moment, the Infiniverse, no more than a twinkle, a speck of warping sand, disappeared entirely from the dying Wheel.

From a dying Omniverse X-999.

It had taken its first step…into the Nullvein Gravewake Folds.

A moment heavy with importance.

A moment radiant with brilliance.

And behind, still in the decaying Wheel… in the Prime Frequency of the End… stood Ozymandias.

His arms spread wide, basked in death and ruin.

He stood upon the line between life and death, feeling the minute shifts and changes in real time.

And with it came something unique.

Something sacred.

In the instant that Ozymandias stood at that threshold, between Living Thing and Dead Thing...

|A Unique Phenomenon has triggered the weavings of the Protagonist, Quintessence, Cheats, Plot, and Infinity.|

|The weavings of the Protagonist lead the way with the emergence of the Absolute Infinitum Prophecy.|

|The junction between Dead and Living has provided a temporary resonance of an unknown state of being, allowing for an immense possible burst of threads of external weavings in the Folds to be observed through the Absolute Infinitum Prophecy, both for those tangled with you and those not.|

|To receive feedback, your weavings must be released. There is a risk. Other unknown forces may capture them in thread fragments.|

|Shall the Absolute Infinitum Prophecy proceed?|

A choice.

A rare state, possibly never to occur again.

With it came the emergence of something even more rare: the ability to release oneʼs weavings into the Folds and glimpse possibilities of the future.

Noah weighed the risk.

And...

”Proceed.”

HUUM!

The command was given.

And brilliance unfolded.

His weavings erupted from the Prime Frequency of the End and spilled into the Folds.

Wondrously.

Inconceivably.

Unimaginably.

It lasted but a second.

And in the next heartbeat, waves of Complexity came rushing back.

Multiple True Sources buzzed in response.

After all, Ozymandias was, paradoxically, both Noah and not Noah.

Even the Living True Source of Ember Eternum pulsed in a distant region of the Folds.

And then…

From Ozymandias who was standing between life and death, a voice emerged.

Ancient.

Heavy.

Unfathomably vast.

It carried knowledge not even he understood.

And with it flowed the words of a Prophecy:

|When the Ninth Echo of the Wheel fractures, the Flame Between shall stir.

A Favored born of paradox shall rise where even the Folds dare not dream, its shadow cast across broken time and Living flame.

The one who sings with stolen notes shall tempt the Dead into life.

The one who weaves without thread shall walk into the Cradle of Threads and emerge wearing the Crown of a Song that was never written.

Three Doors will open, but only two may be entered. One leads to the Hour Beyond Hours. One leads to the Mouth That Does Not Chew. One is a lie.

When the Gauntlet burns, the Foldtree will bleed. And from its hollowed roots, an Emergence of Rot will awaken the Garden of Stillness.

The Black Monarch on a fold throne will offer choice, but not freedom. The Sentinels of Reversal will ask for the paradoxical Keys that should not exist.

One will walk away empty. One will walk away whole. One will not walk away.

Beware the day when Death sings in living tongues. On that day, the &$%@&%$# Ones shall stir, Those neither bound by Life nor caged by Death.

Their names will not be remembered, for they were never written. Their weavings cannot be unspun. Their will cannot be undone.

In the end, the Thread that was favored shall not be the one that remains. But the Thread that learned to twist itself.

The Gravewake shall open. The Nine Breakings shall echo. And in the silence after the final fall, only a single note shall endure, Not a sound, but a choice.|

…!

BOOM!
