Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3708: Transform or Break V

Without utilizing the Pillars of Concordance unique to Harmonized Sourcebound Icons.

Without utilizing Mythic True Signatures unique to Converged Architects or Resplendent Monads.

Simply through the exertion of the True Source of the Singed, Noah broke down and utterly rejected the Dead True Sources of multiple Converged Architects!

Creatures of High Complexity… and below-average Purity.

When faced with his understanding- his true, unfettered grasp of what a True Source was, paired with the fact that he was now undergoing Amalgamation for the first time...

The so-called ”simple” Dead True Sources stood no chance.

Not when their Purity was that low.

If those Converged Architects had held High Complexity and Moderate or High Purity, perhaps like the Mawbearers like Veltraxis, they mightʼve stood a chance.

But they didnʼt.

Like the brittle pages of an ancient, arid book, the Converged Architects and Harmonized Sourcebound Icons burned, then faded, only to be pulled inward by golden tendrils of light, converging on Noahʼs chest, where an invisible, spinning Cradle of Purity resided.

The scene, mid-collapse of the Infinite Ravinesʼ weavings and the penetration of the frequencies of the Wheel of Existence, was unparalleled. It drew the stunned gazes of distant, remaining Legends.

And even as Noahʼs bodies rose among the dead things in the far distance, one of them remained near the weavings of the gray Ash Sea, where the Witness and the one responsible for spreading this endless sea of ash turned toward him.

The Sea of Ash regarded him.

Surviving the breaking of a Wheel of Existence, and remaining within its weavings made the Sea of Ash something exceptional. Others had been cast out. He remained.

Now, as he watched the True Sources of other defenders break beneath the might of the 9th Mawbearer of the Dissonant Echo, he could not help but ask Noah.

”Youʼve shown us things many have never seen. Even my evaluation of you was… wrong. So I ask, are there more secrets hidden within you that could somehow stop what seems inevitable?”

The Sea of Ash spoke with weighty words- but he was, essentially, asking if they were doomed.

To such a question, Noah only shook his head.

”At this time, I cannot stand against the 9th Mawbearer of the Dissonant Echo. And it seems others at his level are still arriving. The weavings of these Dead Things are hell-bent on enforcing the inevitable. I would prepare for the decimation of the Wheel of Existence... and your own weavings.”

…!

He was honest.

There was no emotion behind it. Just truth.

And hearing it, the nearby defenders became ashen.

The Omnifather, still surviving by the miracles of Versality, trembled with fury. He roared toward the Dead Things.

”Countless lives. COUNTLESS! All of them will perish. Turn dead. I…!”

Hopelessness and shame echoed in the hearts of all present- for they had fought for so long, only to find themselves lacking the strength to continue.

The Omnifather thought back to the genocide of Megalonians across the frequencies that he could not prevent.

Was he doomed to witness such a thing again?

Weavings of doubt and deterioration spread all around.

But even then, Noah remained calm.

”I have already emptied 75% of all Living Weavings of Existence across every Frequency of the Wheel. In another minute, that number will reach 100%. After that, should they ravage the Frequencies, there will be no living left to harm.”

…!

His words seemed like fiction.

A soft lie to soothe the agony in their weavings.

The Stellar Weaver stared at him, disbelief etched across her features. Meanwhile, the half-decimated Origin Singed laughed, his body unraveling into light.

”Of course you did… only you could. Then I will have no reservations. Iʼll find what opportunities I can in this sea of Dead Weavings, my friend.”

…!

The Great Usurper spoke as the Origin Singedʼs weavings dispersed- dissolving, seemingly dying.

But Noah knew. The Usurper was a parasite- pathogenic, like the Eldritch Expanse, but quieter… more insidious. His weavings crept now toward the unsuspecting Dead Things in the distance.

He accepted Noahʼs words without question. But the other defenders of the Wheel stood between belief and dismissal.

”Truly?”

Arthur, the Sea of Ash, sought confirmation.

It did not come from Noah.

Instead, the Witness turned his blank eyes upon him. A faint golden light radiated from within, growing in intensity, until a grandiose Mythic True Signature began to rise.

”His words bear no falsehood. It is… true.”

…!

Relief flooded the remaining legends.

They accepted this truth. And in that truth, they found release- knowing that at the very least, their failure would not bring about the blood of all living things on their hands.

Now, only one test remained.

The weavings of choice. Of decisions.

Would their True Sources survive the coming day?

Would they remain alive... or become just another chapter of the dead?

These were the weavings.

These were the choices.

And Noah… was making his own.

Your weavings have undergone Amalgamation of a True Source of Existence for the first time.

The True Source of the Singed has been Amalgamated into the Autognosis Living Engine of your Living Wheel… and it also has not.

The Living Paradox, the Paradox of the Amalgamation of Existence, has been resolved.

The True Source of the Singed is Paradoxically amalgamated to your Living Wheel, and has become… a Living True Source of the Singed.

HUUM!

Noah blinked.

What was this?

True Sources had always been referred to as simply that- True Sources.

If dead, the distinction would be made. Dead True Sources.

But this?

As if the Singed had not been alive before, the system now granted it a new designation- a Living True Source.

Not that it hadnʼt been part of the living... but now?

Now, it truly lived beneath his weavings.

It was truly alive!

He could wield it freely. Fully.

But that wasnʼt all.

His Living Wheel wasnʼt done.

A profound sense of fulfillment blossomed within him as something stirred deep in the core of his Wheel- something blooming from the Amalgamation of his first Living True Source... and also not.

From the Autognosis Living Engine...

Due to resolving a Living Paradox and Amalgamating with a Living True Source for the first time, the Absolute Complex Amalgamation Ability, Paradox Genesis, is now available to utilize in the Autognosis Living Engine.

…!

From his Living Wheel.

From the very heart of the Autognosis Living Engine where Living Paradoxes bloomed...

An ability awakened.

An Absolute Complex Amalgamation Ability called...Paradox Genesis!
