Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3726: Line of Life and Death VI

Eluriah Veilnox.

That was the name given to her the moment she awakened, conscious and unfathomable as a Source Complexity Entity.

Her weavings of existence were so vast and so majestic that others couldnʼt begin to comprehend them.

In the safety, danger, and collapsed wonders of the Folds, she thrived- bound to the Chronosect of Threadbound Folds.

A coalition of Living Things that moved through time itself.

Their history stretched farther than any single Wheel of Existence, for they didnʼt depend on one. They carved their own path through time, their own intricate weavings, and what they built had always been unbreakable.

Always.

But now… all of that was about to change.

Those she once looked up to, unshakable titans whose Complexity surpassed hers by unfathomable margins...she saw them falter.

Nervous.

Unsure.

Even entities more Complex and Pure than a Primarch of Complexity and Purity…were nervous.

What could possibly make them afraid?

She didnʼt know. No one told her. All she and the other Time Sentinels were given was a mission.

A vital one.

They were to find the pieces.

And she had to find the Key.

The Chronosect had determined that this time, this place, held the Key. So she Slipped across the Folds, her time now limited.

So...

She moved with precision and deadly intent.

Failure was not an option.

The Living Thing holding the Key stood just ahead. She reached toward him, her pristine True Source brimming with a terrifying complexity that thundered from her hands. She would bind him within an Existential Dimensional Lattice- one so dense, it would prevent him from even expressing his own True Source.

From afar, she sensed the weavings of the dead things- perceptive as always, watching. Waiting. She made sure none of them moved to interfere.

She saw the most powerful among them in dismay, the one called Veltraxis shaking his head as if watching his greatest investment about to be stolen.

As if all their battles had been for nothing more than this moment, this Living Thing, and she had come to take it.

And then...

PAH!

She made contac-…!

No.

She didnʼt.

Her complexity surged outward, reaching toward the still figure, but she couldnʼt move another inch.

Unfathomably brilliant blue flames flickered into being, stopping her cold.

But… this wasnʼt possible.

This being wasnʼt even close to a Primarch. So how could he…?

Her expression hardened!

The Product of Paradox Genesis has presented itself and burns Quintessentially within your Autognosis Living Engine.

The genesis of the Transient Paradoxical True Source involved: The Living True Source of the Singed (Fixed) – Scorching Fire, + The Living True Source of Infinity (Null) – Terminal Collapse.

…!

The words passed across Noahʼs eyes, and understanding came instantly.

Paradox Genesis operated through the Absolute Mechanism of Paradox Null-Aspect Genesis.

Every True Source held a Fixed Aspect, what it was, and a Null Aspect, what it was not and yet paradoxically could become.

The Singedʼs Fixed Aspect was flame- burning, consuming.

Infinity had its own Fixed identity, but its Null Aspect? Terminal Collapse.

Infinity cannot end… yet here it was, birthing a contradiction. An echo of finiteness.

And the result...

The Transient Paradoxical Living True Source of Ember Eternum has been born.

From his Living Wheel, something bloomed.

Transient.

Ephemeral.

A swirling miracle of gold and blue-gold condensed into quintillions of microscopic wheels within, while blue fire shrouded the surface.

And as it bloomed, Noahʼs entire being began to change. His composition, his bones, his muscles, his skin- everything shifted. Every atom was rewritten by the workings of the Transient Paradoxical Living True Source of Ember Eternum.

Eluriahʼs hands reached for him, but they couldnʼt even graze the space near his form.

The weavings of Ember Eternum surged and bloomed around him.

In a heartbeat, his body transformed- his form flashing blue with pulses of gold.

On his chest, the flames shaped themselves into a dazzling blue Living Wheel of Existence. Even the distant dead things stared in stunned awe as the wheel began to spin.

His eyes lit with brilliance. His pupils turned to shimmering, illusory wheels with spokes- his entire presence transforming into something impossibly ancient and grand.

HUUUM!

His existence buzzed with a power that felt like freedom itself.

Noah felt weightless. Limitless.

Concepts heʼd once barely grasped were now woven together, granting him a liberation he couldnʼt have imagined.

Because what he gained now… was beyond what even Complexity and Purity could offer.

The wheels in his eyes spun.

So did the one blazing on his chest.

He raised his hand, reaching toward Eluriahʼs outstretched one.

And just before their hands could meet, a wall of Ember Eternum flames surged up between them- uncrossable.

The complexity required to overcome the Transient Paradoxical Living True Source… even a Primarch would struggle.

”Ember Eternum.”

His voice rang out cold, distant- no longer his alone. It carried the weight of Ember Eternum, and the moment he spoke...

BOOM!

The Infinite Ravines shuddered, as if recognizing what had just been unleashed.

”Its Purity and Complexity canʼt currently match a Primarchʼs,” he said, his voice low, ”but what this Source is… canʼt be compared.”

…!

”Itʼs a flame without end, one that cannot spread… yet is always present.”

His entire essence had changed to reflect this paradox.

He now existed as a flame, one that bloomed across infinite contradictory weavings of existence. A flame that could never be snuffed out… but could also never consume.

To extinguish him now, one would have to burn down millions of paradoxical probabilities simultaneously.

Could a Primarch do that?

BOOM!

An impact echoed through the space, though their hands never touched.

Noah was pushed back, but his weavings burned bright and intact.

Burning.

Ember! Eternum!

The Primarchʼs attempt to lock him down with an Existential Dimensional Lattice was rejected.

Eluriahʼs head tilted. Her body crackled.

”You donʼt understand whatʼs at stake.”

BZZT!

The true power of a Primarch stirred.

Her violet eyes glowed with solemn fire as the air around her shimmered.

”Entities that surpassed even Primarchs are growing nervous. What are you, in the grand scheme? What are you compared to them? I donʼt have time to unravel this so...just give me the Key.”

…!

As she spoke...

BZZT!

Her form flickered, blinking in and out of existence before purple smoke flared around her, stabilizing her body. She surged forward like a living warhead, her hands erupting with Existential Dimensional Lattices.

And from her, a Mythic True Signature began to rise- one that could shake the very weavings of existence.
