Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3717: Endless Possibilities III

In terms of effects.

His different aspects- Protagonist and Infinity included, greatly and tremendously affected his own internal weavings of existence.

But their effect on the surrounding external weavings of existence, and how they influenced flows and reality to unfold… was incomparable.

Just by making his presence known in the Infinite Ravines, the eventual result of Mawbearers being pulled in occurred.

Just by his presence, the Wheel of Existence began its Last Transformation early.

Just by his presence, the external environment twisted and turned to make him the center point.

So if he exerted just a bit of control over this terrifying external influence…

His eyes opened brightly.

The breadth of his weavings shifted from his body near Ruination and settled onto one of his many bodies floating opposite Melodrass, surrounded by the endless stellar blue sea of the Infinite Bloom.

And he asked himself.

What was an external influence that would be heavy and terrifying at the same time, and would eventually lead to his power scaling upwards faster and even grander now and in the future?

He had only just asked this question, but the True Source of the Protagonist buzzed as…

|The weavings of the True Source of the Protagonist, bathed with the light of the True Source of Quintessence and Infinity, have collectively given way to Absolute Infinitum Influence of External Existence—allowing the direct and purposeful control of the constant widespread influence of your weavings in your surroundings to be focused onto a particular area of your choosing.|

…!

Birthed from the workings of three True Sources.

Noah called out silently in his mind.

ʼAbsolute Infinitum Influence of External Existence.ʼ

A golden light flashed that only he could see.

And his eyes became unfathomably brighter right after as he looked at the 9th Mawbearer of the Dissonant Echo, Melodrass, and he saw exactly what terrifying thing he could do.

His voice echoed out.

”O Holder of the Dead True Source of Sonumortis Requiem… do you know why the stage of Primarch remains so distant from you?”

…!

His words caught Melodrass off guard as in the next moment, Noah waved his hands and the boundless waves of blue seas all around him formed into… a Lute.

Its strings shone a glorious blue as its body carried hues of colorless gold brilliance.

And Noah… began to play the strings of this Lute as the echoes of an unfathomable melody began.

Akin to… a grand symphony.

”Sonumortis Requiem. Dead Sound… a Requiem of the very symphony of death. It is a good source. If you were still alive, you would have been able to take this source to the level of Primarch in time. But now that you are dead… you will never be able to achieve it.”

HUUM!

Noahʼs hands tugged on the strings of the Lute as an orchestral tune of a grand symphony began to play.

Melodrass watched on with cold eyes initially, but moments later, he frowned as he saw… notes and musical symbols manifest around Noah as they carried musings of… his Sonumortis Requiem.

…!

”Is this it?”

WAA!

”Is this your Source? Derived from Music and falling under its umbrella, but it will never reach the level of a Primarch for you because… do you know the singular thing it needs that you will never have?”

TRIING!

Blue seas surged gloriously.

Noah carried a tune of majesty and wonder as around him, thousands of gold-blue notes bloomed while expressing none other than the Dead True Source of Sonumortis Requiem.

Something that was not even his.

Melodrass looked at this with a somber expression as Noah continued.

”Life, O Melodrass. Music, in its truest form, requires living Weavings of Existence—breathing, feeling conduits to shape its rhythm and complexity.”

DUM!

Dazzling blue-gold drums began to form and beat around Noah.

Other instruments bloomed and floated around him, his eyes closed as he continued with a heavy beat.

”Without life, it becomes stagnant, echoing only decay. Death may carry its shadow, but cannot evolve it. For music to transcend, it must be felt, broken, and rebuilt through living weavings. This is why you will never become a Primarch.”

…!

The visage of Melodrass shook slightly.

Ahead, the weavings of Sonumortis Requiem held the composition of death, yes, but at this moment, they were filled with life.

Vastly unlike Melodrassʼs own True Source.

But it felt more complete.

Noah opened his eyes and looked at Melodrass calmly, instruments buzzing around him as he could see… wavering and questioning bloom within this 9th Mawbearer of the Dissonant Echo as his influence truly began to settle in.

And he nodded toward such a being.

”I have not dabbled in music until now, but with my weavings of life alone… I can attain its True Source and become in line with its Complexity and Purity to become a Primarch in but a few weeks. Do you deny this?”

…!

Something he did not dabble in, and yet… he could easily become a Primarch in it due to nothing but his life.

As Melodrass looked at the imitated weavings of Sonumortis Requiem, he could not deny this.

And the shadow over his dead heart and True Source rose wildly as he asked himself.

Did he really need the weavings of Life to truly be in line with his Purity and Complexity?

But he… was Dead.

The weavings of the Living were forever gone to him unless… he was able to find THAT.

”Do you deny this?!”

HUUM!

Noahʼs voice arose once more as Melodrass stared toward this being who was playing with his own True Source of Existence as if it were nothing, with hatred, as he bellowed out in reply.

”I do not deny this!”

…!

He could not.

Melodrass knew the words were true.

And he hated the True Favored Living Thing that made such a thing so blatantly clear as he played a grand symphony.

Cracks… began to appear within the True Source of Sonumortis Requiem at such an admission.

Without life… would he ever be able to become a Primarch, or would his path forever stop here?

His weavings buzzed as at such a moment…

”You do not have an ounce of life, as the music within Sonumortis Requiem will never truly come to life, but I… I have an overabundance of life. I could… infuse the life of my music into your Sonumortis Requiem and give it what it is missing, and you will see how quickly it can become a Primarch True Source.”

…!

What?

Melodrassʼs unfathomably dead eyes vibrated.

He asked himself again.

What?

But from the endless sea of blue…

”I could make you a Primarch in the next few minutes… so long as you truly dedicate your True Source to the grandest Symphony and pay Fealty… to me.”

BOOM!
