Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse

Chapter 3718: Endless Possibilities! IV

His effects on the external weavings of existence were terrifying to even think about.

Absolute Infinitum Influence of External Existence… it was akin to a sword he could wield, directing the terrifying and chaotic influence of his very being into something of his own choosing.

He could choose to shatter the grief of a dead thing by exposing the cracks in what it stood for… or he could, astoundingly, help that same dead True Source ascend- reaching heights it never imagined possible.

And he presented such a terrifying possibility to none other than Melodrass.

”The level of a Primarch… do you want it?”

HUUM!

His words followed the cadence of a grand symphony playing in the background, each syllable a terrifying hook pulling on the heart of the 9th Mawbearer of the Dissonant Echo.

”If you want it, present your Dead True Source to me. Swear fealty. Leave behind the weavings of the Hollow Concord of Nullity, for what more can they give you but death? I will infuse life into your Sonumortis Requiem and give you something they never could.”

WAA!

His hands moved with grace, playing a grandiose symphony as Melodrass watched, eyes buzzing.

Primarch.

So close, and yet impossibly distant.

True Favored Living Things were unfathomably rare. There was a reason he had sent word through the weavings of the Hollow Concord of Nullity the moment Veltraxis confirmed it.

Now, they had weavings that made the impossible feel tangible. Even with all his power, Melodrass could not bring this True Favored Living Thing down.

And he knew it- knew it so well, he called upon a genuine Primarch: the 6th Mawbearer of the Hollow Concord of Nullity, one who specialized in locking down terrifying True Sources.

The level of a Primarch.

Could he reach it if he...

Melodrass, still weighing the idea and possibilities, hadnʼt realized he was already raising his hand toward the endless sea of blue notes and symphony ahead, drawn by a terrifying power he couldnʼt even begin to understand.

It looked like the cusp of something glorious, but at that moment…

Melodrass!

HUUM!

A booming voice thundered through the Frequency.

Noah frowned, then sighed.

In the blink of an eye, his blue seas were torn apart like parchment- his grand symphony drowned beneath a droning noise as the grandeur of a Primarch rolled down.

A genuine, true Primarch arrived and suppressed his very weavings of existence. From above, piercing through the True Frequency of the Singed, waves of death descended- alongside a massive, archaic obsidian tree with branches twisted into shattered infinity symbols.

The face of a woman appeared on the treeʼs trunk, her voice booming as she crushed any opposing weavings during her descent.

”The True Favored Living Thing you called me to lock down is powerful enough that, upon my arrival, it has nearly ensnared you in its weavings? Good! This is very promising!”

…!

Noah sighed at the arrival of the entity who had interrupted him at the very edge of a grand achievement.

Melodrassʼs face went ashen, his expression twisted in rage as all enticement faded away. He glared at Noah with murderous eyes, as though realizing heʼd been played.

The 6th Mawbearer of the Hollow Concord of Nullity,- Vaethrava, the Withering Sealroot, had arrived.

Melodrass looked to her, weavings heavy with shame.

Noah simply studied her, understanding that even her presence had been triggered by the random external influence of his own existence. He looked at her weavings and spoke, his tone grand.

”Rooted in silence at the edge of the Null Garden… the 6th Mawbearer of the Hollow Concord of Nullity, Vaethrava, the Withering Sealroot. What brings you here?”

He spoke nonchalantly, even as the True Severed Adaptive Power of Existence buzzed- this entity was now added as another one of his targets.

And again, his Complexity and Purity surged forward with accelerating momentum, real-time feedback cascading through his weavings.

So much so that…

The process of the Amalgamation of the True Source of Infinity has received a sudden acceleration.

The True Source of Infinity is transforming to become the Living True Source of Infinity.

HUUM!

”…”

The more powerful the foes he carried, the more exponential his growth would become.

The towering figure of the 6th Mawbearer moved beside Melodrass. Her appearance alone tainted half the True Frequency of the Singed with death- the flames dimmed and flickered out.

Her towering obsidian trunk bore a solemn face with hollow eyes that wept streaks of black starlight. Massive branches stretched outward, coiled with shattered infinity symbols like broken chains drifting in slow motion.

Her Dead True Source of Existence, Annihilock Sapience, embodied absolute stillness- crafted to suppress, bind, and nullify motion, memory, and meaning.

Anything caught within her canopy became sealed beyond time, locked in inert oblivion.

Such a being stood before Noah now, her frown deep as she surveyed the space around her. She spoke.

I have already begun to lock everything down but… why is the stench of death so heavy and thick in this Living Wheel?

…!

Her words echoed through the weavings of their world.

And Noah squinted- because now he saw it. The once-bright gold flames of the True Frequency of the Singed, which had danced with allure… were gone, leaving behind only the scent of death.

The endless extinguishing of flame wasnʼt just due to the arrival of the 6th Mawbearer.

And with a single glance, Noah understood.

He became stern as his voice boomed out.

ʼInfiniverse!ʼ

HUUM!

Infiniverse.

Her body hovered in front of the transforming Wheel of Existence. But now her expression darkened- her gaze hardened, and she stepped back.

Stupid!

…!

A word of admonishment.

Not to Noah.

But to the white-gold Wheel of Existence itself.

Because in that moment, they both realized- led by the words of the 6th Mawbearer regarding the stench of death...a stunning truth.

The Wheel of Existence, said to be undergoing its Last Transformation… was not transforming at all.

It wasnʼt because it couldnʼt.

It was because it wouldnʼt.

It knew the only certainty ahead was its final breaking.

Only death awaited.

Its weavings knew this.

It was a logical construct, so why would it do something so illogical as to jump straight to death?

So instead of truly transforming, it gathered all its terrifying weavings for one purpose.

To save itself the only way it could!

To preserve its core by entering an Absolute Complex True Source just now being born!

One that hadnʼt undergone a Breaking.

One that could succeed in the Transformation.

But it knew it was not wanted.

Because after all its previous breakings, even if it joined another Wheel, it may very well doom that new Wheel to fail its first Transformation due to the weavings of Breakings it carried.

But...the Wheel of Existence had to take the chance of survival!

BOOM!

Cracks shattered across the Wheel of Existence.

From its core- something surged forth!

Noah appeared instantly beside the Infiniverse Megalos Body, prepared to strike with disappointment etched into his features.

But…

WAP!

That wasnʼt its target.

Space split. The golden seas fractured. Dozens of Wild True Sources surrounded the thing that had escaped from the breaking Wheel.

And it appeared before the visage of…

RUINATION.

Then...

BOOM!

It smashed into her chest.

And sank into it.

Irreversibly.
