Abandoned Woman Busy Farming

Chapter 428: Chapter 428: Who coiled up your long hair?

Jiang Yichun purposefully lifted his legs, causing the water to splash loudly. Bai Ruozhu, frightened, yelled, ”Don’t get out! Don’t you feel embarrassed if Little Dengdeng sees?”

Jiang Yichun smirked and said, ”Little Dengdeng and I are both men, there’s nothing to be afraid of.” He stirred the water again, making it sound as if he was really getting out.

Bai Ruozhu squealed and fled, all the while shouting, ”You...you, quickly get dressed!”

Behind her, Jiang Yichun’s victorious laughter lingered on.

Bai Ruozhu returned to the Hot Spring Room, but she was already fully clothed. After the recent blushing episode, the room felt overly stuffy. She unbuckled her collar a bit, but it’s still unbearably hot, which made her even more agitated.

Suddenly, she slapped her forehead and blurted out, ”Damn it, he tricked me!”

She had been so embarrassed earlier that she didn’t want to see a naked man, especially when there was a child present. Now thinking about it, she was sure that he had just been teasing her. He hadn’t really wanted to get out, he intentionally made fun of her!

Thinking of this, Bai Ruozhu stomped her foot and rushed out to scold Jiang Yichun. But as soon as she reached the door, she saw that Jiang Yichun was standing naked, his back to her, wiping himself down.

Bai Ruozhu’s eyes popped open in shock, her head buzzing, and she felt like she was about to faint. But she remained frozen in place, gazing at the perfect figure that resembled a sculpture, her eyes sliding down his muscular back to his narrow waist, and then landing on his sexy buttocks.

Jiang Yichun couldn’t reach the water droplets on his back, and they were trickling down his muscles and over his perky buttocks. Bai Ruozhu’s soul seemed to be hooked by these droplets, and she kept staring at them, even swallowing subconsciously.

Because of the steam from the hot spring, Jiang Yichun’s figure looked somewhat blurry. Bai Ruozhu felt like she had accidentally intruded on a fairy bathing in the heavenly pond.

When she came back to her senses, she hurriedly turned around and made her exit. But her heart was beating rapidly, ’Oh god, did I just peek on him bathing? Did I really drool?’

She wiped her mouth, could not help but swallow again. The heat in her body seemed to intensify, and she became thirsty.

There was no denying that Jiang Yichun had a top-notch figure. As a homebody who had seen many handsome men in modern times, Bai Ruozhu had a highly selective aesthetic sense, but she was completely smitten by him. His allure was a seductive blend of aloofness and temptation—an absolutely enchanting male demon!

Actually, Jiang Yichun had sensed Bai Ruozhu’s presence the moment she appeared. However, he was just as shocked and didn’t know what to do—turn around, stand dumbly or say something? Of course, he was itching to hug her tight, he had been tormented to death. But, he had to remind himself, he must give Ruozhu a proper identity before doing anything.

At this moment, he heard Bai Ruozhu swallowing, and he felt dry-mouthed himself. He wished he could rush over and nibble on her watering mouth to taste her sweetness.

However, Bai Ruozhu suddenly ran back into the Hot Spring Room. He knew he couldn’t follow her; otherwise, the situation might get out of hand. In the end, Jiang Yichun sighed in frustration, took a few deep breaths, glanced at his aroused self, and quickly got dressed.

Little Dengdeng was joyfully playing at the side, completely oblivious what was going on. He was chirping happily, his obsidian eyes clear and bright.

Jiang Yichun picked up Dengdeng and murmured, ”It seems like Uncle has to marry your mother soon, or else this is too tormenting.”

Dengdeng chuckled and reached out for his little beard. Jiang Yichun couldn’t help but laugh, ”You should side with me, don’t get too cozy with other uncles.”

Bai Ruozhu agonized in the Hot Spring Room for a while before finally asking, ”Are you done? Can we leave?”

”Yes, let’s go grab something to eat.” Jiang Yichun said with a helpless smile, slightly bending forward to hide his lingering arousal.

Bai Ruozhu came out shyly, her face still fiery. She kept her head down, not daring to look at Jiang Yichun. She thought that he didn’t know that she had been spying on him earlier, and was afraid that he might discover something.

But seeing her like this, Jiang Yichun found it rather amusing. Didn’t she want to rebuke him earlier? So she was tongue-tied upon seeing his body and grew nervous?

Afterwards, he took Bai Ruozhu to the master bedroom and found a towel to dry her hair. Soon, he had wrung her hair dry. Then he led her to the kitchen, joking, ”It’s crude here, only steamed buns and pickles. Fubo doesn’t cook much here. Please make do for now.”

”It’s fine. I actually wanted some pickles.” Bai Ruozhu replied with a smile.

They went to the kitchen to find steaming white buns and several plates of pickles. Because it was already getting dark, they didn’t bring the food to the main hall, but ate in the kitchen instead.

Throughout the meal, Jiang Yichun was holding Dengdeng, which left Bai Ruozhu free.

Soon after they finished, Dengdeng started to fuss, looking pitifully at Bai Ruozhu with big eyes. Clearly, he was hungry.

Bai Ruozhu took him and grumbled, ”Now you remember you have a mother? Who was the one who abandoned her earlier?”

Dengdeng pouted and burst into tears.

This made even Jiang Yichun feel hurt. He reprimanded her a bit, ”Look at your jealousy, you made the child cry. Quickly go to the room and feed him. I’ll ask someone to prepare the carriage. When you’re done, we’ll go back to the city.”

Bai Ruozhu nodded and took Dengdeng to the inner chamber. By the time she finished nursing and came out, the carriage had already arrived. Jiang Yichun took Dengdeng from her and helped her into the carriage.

As her hair was still slightly wet, Bai Ruozhu tied it up into a simple bun and secured it with the hairpin Jiang Yichun had given her. Seeing this, the corner of his mouth twitched into a smile. He reached over, pulled out the hairpin, and her hair cascaded down.

”What are you doing? I just got my hair neat.” Bai Ruozhu glared at him.

Jiang Yichun handed Dengdeng back to her and grinned, ”The way you tied it wasn’t nice. Let me do it.”

Before Bai Ruozhu could respond, Jiang Yichun had already started to coil her hair into a bun. She stiffened slightly, or maybe she was getting nervous. The lyrics from a song appeared in her mind, ”Who coiled up your long hair, who made your wedding gown for you...” Would the man before her eyes be the one coiling her hair for the rest of her life?
