Abandoned Woman Busy Farming

Chapter 427: Chapter 427: Teasing in the Hot Spring

The hot spring pool was not large, quite petite, in fact, but its white mist in the winter made it irresistible; one may simply wish to jump in and relax.

Regrettably... being an open-air pool, is it not too revealing? In ancient times, women did not swim. Bai Ruozhu looked troubled. Isn’t this too inconvenient?

Jiang Yichun chuckled softly and said, ”Silly girl, there are indoor bathhouses here too. The hot spring water is piped straight into them. Fubo is too old for these baths, but when I arrived, I really appreciated the outdoor pool. Therefore, nobody has ever used that bathhouse.”

Bai Ruozhu blushed at his words. She was the first one to use the bathhouse. Was his intention to show his loyalty to her?

She suddenly cast a doubtful glance at him, then turned to look at the pool outside, raising her eyebrows, ”Since you like the outdoor hot springs and men don’t care about bathing done indoors, why did you build this bathhouse?”

Jiang Yichun’s face turned red, but he soon understood that Bai Ruozhu was misunderstanding him. He quickly retorted, ”I just finished building this bathhouse recently. When I returned to Beiyu City, someone had it built for me. I figured when the weather turns cold, you would surely love this place...”

His face turned slightly red as he spoke, but Bai Ruozhu’s heart filled with sweetness.

Bai Ruozhu fought back a smile and sweetly gazed at him. Jiang Yichun, feeling his own cheeks heating up, frustratingly avoided her gaze.

”I’m going in then, Dengdeng is coming in with me to get warm,” Bai Ruozhu reached out to pick up Dengdeng, but Little Dengdeng refused to leave Jiang Yichun’s arms and grasped tightly onto his neck.

At this moment, Jiang Yichun looked proud. He chuckled at Bai Ruozhu, ”Did you see that? The little guy likes me quite a lot.”

Bai Ruozhu laughed helplessly. While her son was naturally closer to her, he seemed especially attached to Jiang Yichun. How could that be possible?

”Don’t worry, it’s very warm next to the pool because of the mist. If he goes in the room with you, it might get too hot. Plus, it’s troublesome to undress,” said Jiang Yichun, unwilling to let Dengdeng go with Bai Ruozhu.

Bai Ruozhu rolled her eyes at both big and small before turning around and heading towards the bathhouse. After taking some steps, she stopped and, without turning her head back, said, ”A gentleman should avoid looking where he ought not to.”

After saying that, she walked briskly inside, her face flushing and fearing that Jiang Yichun would follow her.

Feeling butterflies in her stomach, she thought that maybe he didn’t mean anything by it, but by mentioning it, she had just hinted at something subtly. But not mentioning it made her scared that he might suddenly rush in. At this thought, her cheeks grew hotter.

Jiang Yichun watched as she rushed off, chuckling at her behavior. Did he look so desperate? Although he was indeed burning with desire, he had already promised to respect her and decided to fully appreciate her after their wedding.

Once inside the bathhouse, Bai Ruozhu managed to calm herself down after a while. She discarded her worries, undressed, and sank into the hot spring pool, sighing in contentment.

In ancient times without showers, being able to bathe in such a comfortable hot spring during a harsh winter was truly a luxury.

Feeling playful, she started splashing around in the bathhouse pool. All alone, she made a few splashes, mimicked a frog swimming, and merely walked around with her feet touching the bottom. In the end, she was even bold enough to pretend to perform a ballet on the water, almost playing to her heart’s content.

”Ruozhu, are you alright in there?” Jiang Yichun’s voice made Bai Ruozhu startled. She hurriedly replied, ”I am fine, I will be done soon.”

”You were quiet, so I thought you had fainted in the bath. Don’t stay in there too long. Come out and eat something,” Jiang Yichun advised.

”Alright, I’ll be coming out soon,” Bai Ruozhu replied and walked reluctantly towards the edge of the pool. She wasn’t done enjoying this. If she had money in the future, she’d buy a small manor like this to stay for half a month at a time. Living like an immortal surely must feel this good.

As Bai Ruozhu was outlining her future of luxury, Jiang Yichun outside was burning with desire. She was oblivious to her actions, but the hints in her tone drove him mad. He was reminded of the moan she had let out that night that almost made him lose control.

Feeling his body heat up, he hurriedly undressed and laid his clothes on the ground, before setting Dengdeng on them. He chuckled while saying to Dengdeng, ”Uncle is going for a swim, would you like to watch?”

Dengdeng began to wave his arms and kick his legs, clearly excited.

Jiang Yichun only wanted to wash himself and cool off to prevent himself from losing control when he saw Bai Ruozhu. However, since the hot spring water was indeed hot, his body felt hotter than before.

Bai Ruozhu, having dressed and with her hair slightly damp, found a large cloth to wipe herself before leaving. To her surprise, Jiang Yichun was soaking in the water, his muscular chest exposed above the water.

Having just experienced the warmth of the hot spring, her face was flushed. Upon seeing such a salivating sight, her face changed from a rosy pink to the color of a sunset. Without thinking, she swallowed and accidentally let out a gulp.

Being a martial artist, Jiang Yichun had better hearing than Bai Ruozhu. When she appeared, he noticed immediately. He was going to get up hastily but he thought about appearing naked. Would that not make him a hooligan? But if he were to crouch down, he wasn’t a timid woman. Why would he hide?

But when he then heard Bai Ruozhu swallow, the corners of his mouth twitched, revealing a victorious smirk. It seemed she was quite happy with what she saw. With that in mind, he took a few steps towards the edge of the pool, exposing the rest of his body above his waist.

She should be even more satisfied now, right? Jiang Yichun thought, being extremely pleased with himself.

Little did he know, Bai Ruozhu thought he planned to get out completely naked. Frightened, she screamed and covered her eyes, turning around to shout, ”Are you wearing anything? If not, don’t walk up here! Men should not look where they should not!”

After finishing her sentence, she herself felt corny. Had she turned into an overly conservative scholar? Was there nothing else she could have said besides ’Men should not look where they should not’?

Jiang Yichun’s face turned pale. Did he seem like an exhibitionist?

”I did not plan on getting out. Why are you so flustered?” He grumbled.

With her eyes covered with her hands, Bai Ruozhu left a small slit to take a peek. Her face reddened as she slowly turned to him, confirming that Jiang Yichun was still standing in the water. Feeling relieved, she dropped her hands from her eyes.

Jiang Yichun, amused by her action, teased her, ”I am coming up now.”

Bai Ruozhu cried out in panic again, ”You, don’t come here!”
