Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

It was said that a father knew his son best.

No one knew a man better than his father.

Fortunately, Xia Jinyuan made the first move. If not, he might really have been transferred back to the military unit in advance. There was no other reason. Commander Xia felt that since Ye Jian could stand alone, Xia Jinyuan, who was sent to guide her, could come back. There was no need for him to stay.

It was like killing the donkey after the goods had been transported.

Why would Xia Jinyuan go back?

He had already said that it was easy to invite a god but difficult to send him away. He was transferred to the northwest without a word. Here, he could meet Ye Jian every day. This was a good thing, so he didn’t have any other plans.

Now that they saw that although Ye Jian was inexperienced, she was completely qualified to be an instructor, they wanted to transfer him back? He wouldn’t cooperate with them every time.

He cooperated when they transferred him here, but he would not cooperate if they wanted to transfer him back!

After the old madam’s whipping, Commander Xia calmed down and thought about it. He even chatted with Major General Yang. His intention of transferring Xia Jinyuan back gradually subsided.

Major General Yang understood why Commander Xia wanted to transfer Xia Jinyuan back. As a father, how could he enjoy setting up traps for his son?

Although Commander Xia never facilitated his only son, he wouldn’t really stand by and watch. As long as it didn’t violate principles and discipline, Commander Xia would use his own methods to silently protect his only son’s growth.

For instance, young people would more or less be a little impulsive. If the two of them made mistakes while living together, once their mistakes were exposed, even if Commander Xia wanted to protect them, countless pairs of eyes would not let Xia Jinyuan off.

”Little Ye has been independent since a long time ago. I’m both happy and worried. If she wasn’t so smart, my Little Six would put away his frivolous thoughts and focus on guiding Little Ye as much as possible.

”However, Little Ye is very perceptive. She doesn’t even need the higher-ups to settle the matters. She can settle the group of soldiers herself. I know what Little Six is thinking. Once Little Ye takes action, he’ll be able to relax and be happy! I want to transfer him back in advance because I’m worried that he’ll be too happy and leave something to use against me.”

After all, they weren’t in the Xueyu unit. If they made a mistake, they would be affected.

This was why Commander Xia wanted to transfer Xia Jinyuan back in advance. It wasn’t because he didn’t believe Xia Jinyuan but because he was worried as a father.

Unexpectedly, even though Commander Xia knew that his only son knew his limits and wouldn’t do anything rash, he still couldn’t feel at ease. He would rather the two of them be separated for a short period of time than leave behind any hidden dangers.

Commander Xia was a reserved person. He didn’t like to tell others what he was thinking. He wasn’t used to telling Xia Jinyuan his worries either. He hid his fatherly love in the depths of his heart. Sometimes, Old Madam Xia felt that he was too ruthless to Xia Jinyuan.

Actually, it wasn’t the case.

This time, if Commander Xia hadn’t suddenly revealed the real reason for his plan, Major General Yang wouldn’t have known what was going on.

After a long silence, Major General Yang said, ”Commander, sometimes, it’s better for you to express yourself. Even the people around me don’t know the real reason. Little Six… probably doesn’t know either.”

No wonder the old madam was so angry that she whipped him three times.

At least, that was what Major General Yang thought.

Commander Xia took a sip of water and replied proudly, ”No, Little Six knows.”

Major General Yang was puzzled. Little Six knew? How did he know?

He had already complained to the old madam. If he knew, would he have complained?

Major General Yang’s expression was very suspicious. He needed Commander Xia to explain.
