Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

”Scram!” Gao Xiao replied with a smile. She didn’t dare to be distracted anymore.

The other female soldiers didn’t move. They looked at the instructor in front of them.

Only the eight female soldiers in front knew what the instructor looked like. The female soldiers behind only heard his voice and didn’t see him.

The capable male soldiers from the three companies who wanted to fight for the 20 slots had already formed a line and walked to the front. There were 46 of them in total. They were all powerful male soldiers in the company.

Nine of them were the male soldiers who challenged Xia Jinyuan and Ye Jian in the morning and lost.

If nothing went wrong, the nine of them would definitely be selected.

Xia Jinyuan had fought with five of them before and was quite satisfied with their stamina. Ye Jian was also quite satisfied with the stamina of the other four male soldiers. She felt that they had a high chance of becoming one of the 20 elites.

However, Xia Jinyuan’s selection requirements were strict. Not only did he want good combat skills, but he also wanted them to pass in comprehensive physical fitness. Hence, his selection was equivalent to a fitness competition. Besides the obstacle course, there were other competitions as well. Company Commander Zhu said to Commissar Tang privately, ”The special forces are indeed different. If he stays for a few more years, the overall standard of our entire battalion will definitely be raised a few levels.”

Commissar Tang laughed at the company commander for being too greedy.

Captain Xia came very suddenly. The regiment didn’t receive any news about it at all. When they found out, it had already been confirmed that he would come to their guard company. It was even more sudden than setting up a female combat team in the northwest.

It was necessary for a female combat team to be established. This was also the trend. Captain Xia came here to give their guard company some training, but it felt like there was something else going on.

As for what the secret was, they didn’t manage to come up with anything even after speculating about it.

The 46 male soldiers lined up and stepped out. Suddenly, the company commander opened his mouth and said, ”Instructor Ye, do you want to compete with us?”

His question was so sudden that Commissar Tang was stunned for a moment. He reacted quickly and said even more eloquently, ”Company Commander, you just lost in the morning. Are you looking for trouble now?”

Ye Jian didn’t agree immediately. She turned and faced the female soldiers. Her gaze slid past their faces. She smiled and said, ”Let me introduce myself. I’m your instructor, Ye Jian. Nice to meet you.”

The female soldiers were more or less surprised when her identity was revealed.

She was really their instructor. She was young and beautiful. She looked like… an ordinary instructor.

”It’s my first day in the camp. I haven’t familiarized myself with the environment, but I’ve already been issued a challenge. Do you have the confidence to compete with the male soldiers? If you do, I’ll accept the challenge immediately. One person can’t represent our female soldier class. We’ll only accept the challenge if everyone agrees. Do you agree?”

Under the influence of Xia Jinyuan, Ye Jian, who had the aura of a soldier, didn’t lose her aura even when she smiled.

She left the choice of whether to compete or not to the female soldiers. The female soldiers looked at the male soldiers in front of them and wanted to agree. However, the main point was… their instructor said everyone had to agree before they could accept the challenge.

”I’ll count to three. Answer after three.”

Ye Jian glanced at the female soldiers one by one. Just as she shouted ’three’, 21 voices shouted in unison.

”Yes!”

Although their voices were not as loud as the male soldiers, they were still sonorous and full of fighting spirit.

Ye Jian smiled and said to Company Commander Zhu, ”Company Commander Zhu, we accept the challenge.”

The company commander laughed and said, ”Women are not inferior to men. Instructor Ye, your soldiers are very confident.” He waved his hand and asked the male soldiers in a deep voice, ”What about you? Do you have the confidence?”
