Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Why did Ye Jian single out Gao Xiao? Gao Xiao herself didn’t know it, but Qiu Tong knew it.

After the training ended in the afternoon, Qiu Tong, whose legs were as heavy as lead, went to look for Ye Jian alone. She knew that the instructor was waiting for her.

In the morning, the instructor asked all the female soldiers if they would accept her harsh training. Actually, the main point was to ask her. If not, she wouldn’t have glanced at her face.

Ye Jian knew that she didn’t want to be in the same military unit as Gao Xiao. She even wanted to use her family’s connections to see if she could leave the northwest.

Unfortunately, she hadn’t contacted her family yet. Instructor Ye was the one who noticed it first.

Ye Jian guessed that Qiu Tong would come and have a heart-to-heart talk with her. However, she didn’t expect Qiu Tong to come and look for her before the day was even over. Hence, she was worried that Qiu Tong really wanted to leave.

With Qiu Tong’s family background, it wasn’t difficult for her to be transferred from a female soldier class that had just been formed and didn’t have any results.

Looking at the female soldier who was competing with Gao Xiao, Ye Jian narrowed her eyes and asked in a low voice, ”It’s enough to be a deserter once. Do you want to escape a second time?”

Qiu Tong, who sat down, smiled bitterly. ”Instructor Ye, I can’t get over the hurdle in my heart.”

The reason why Qiu Tong and Gao Xiao didn’t get along was because of a two-timing man. Qiu Tong didn’t know that the elegant-looking man was also dating Gao Xiao. After agreeing to the other party’s pursuit, the two of them had only met four times.

On their fifth date, Gao Xiao, who was on leave, held a mineral water bottle in her hand and splashed it at the unsuspecting Qiu Tong.

Fortunately, both of them were wearing casual clothes on the day of their leave. Qiu Tong, whose face was splashed with water, knew the truth of the matter at that time. She was shocked and angry. She returned to the military unit and immediately applied for leave. Then, she left her original position and stayed away from Gao Xiao. She didn’t even explain.

But what could she say?

She was indeed dating that man. Although nothing else happened, she was indeed that man’s girlfriend at that time.

Ye Jian wasn’t good at solving personal feelings. However, she knew that no matter what happened, escaping wasn’t the solution.

”Your escape made Gao Xiao misunderstand you even more. Your concession made Gao Xiao think that everything she saw was real and that you deliberately took the opportunity to take revenge for what happened when you were hospitalized that time. She replaced you in the mission you were supposed to carry out and came back with third-class honors. She thought that you were jealous and deliberately sought out her boyfriend. Even now, she still thinks so.

”I purposely asked her the question this morning because I was worried that she would want to leave too. Gao Xiao is more emotional. I can only calm her down first before calming you down.

”The misunderstanding between the two of you needs to be resolved. If you explain it now, I don’t think Gao Xiao will listen.

”I want to let Gao Xiao know you again through the competition of strength between the two of you. I want her to forget about the past and be able to face you calmly.

”When she can face you calmly, the hurdle in your heart can be overcome. Then, when you talk about the past, it won’t be filled with tension anymore. The two of you will be able to move on.”

Ye Jian said seriously and suggested sincerely, ”Qiu Tong, if you continue to run away, you’ll miss out on your dream.

”Stay for your own dream. In order to realize your dream, it’s not a big deal to suffer a little for the time being. No one will have a smooth journey. Everyone will encounter one or more difficult obstacles. The obstacles in your heart have been making things difficult for you for a year and a half. Do you still want to continue escaping rather than face them?”
