Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

At the crucial moment of the final outcome, Yang Zhen’s rapid descent and nimble shooting made everyone’s eyes light up. The appearance of the instructor, Ye Jian, was shocking.

Yang Zhen was a paratrooper. Falling from a high altitude was one of her training programs. Although she had never officially jumped before, she had a good foundation and could complete it easily. Her reaction to other competition subjects was mediocre.

However, Ye Jian was different.

She was outstanding in every subject. As long as she appeared, she would definitely defeat everyone. Her journey was exciting and shocking.

Looking at the approaching battalion commander and political commissar, Xia Jinyuan raised his stopwatch and prepared to announce the final result.

He was the only one who could remain calm.

Battalion Commander Tian quickly opened his mouth to verify. ”How long did it take?”

”Report, the female soldiers won with 16 minutes and 7 seconds,” Company Commander Zhu replied. Although he lost, he couldn’t lose to the point of cowardice! He still needed to have confidence!

Commissar Tang nodded. ”That’s right.”

”How long did Instructor Ye take?” Battalion Commander Tian asked again.

This time, it was Xia Jinyuan’s turn to answer. ”Report, she took 16 seconds.”

It was true!

Battalion Commander Tian glared at Company Commander Zhu and smiled at Xia Jinyuan. ”Announce the results and let them know the time difference!”

”Yes!”

Facing the battalion commander with the rank of lieutenant colonel, Xia Jinyuan, who was also a lieutenant colonel, didn’t put himself in the same rank. Instead, he placed himself in a position far lower than that of the battalion commander.

No matter where he went, he had to follow the rules. The soldiers had their own rules. Even though he was a lieutenant colonel, he couldn’t ride on the neck of the battalion commander.

No matter how big or small a taboo was, Xia Jinyuan would never commit it.

Although Battalion Commander Tian didn’t have any thoughts, he smiled when he saw Xia Jinyuan’s military rank on his epaulet.

Old Tang was a good judge of character. This man didn’t kick up a fuss and just focused on getting things done.

He liked him!

Xia Jinyuan raised his stopwatch and announced the results under the anticipation of the male soldiers. ”The female soldiers took 16 minutes and 7 seconds. The female soldiers won. Instructor Ye Jian took 16 seconds to complete the vertical shooting descent.”

In the end, the male soldiers’ expressions froze. When they heard Ye Jian’s time, they were stunned.

Sixteen seconds!

The vertical shooting was completed in 16 seconds!

Xia Jinyuan smiled and asked the 20 selected male soldiers, ”Did you not expect to lose?”

The male soldiers’ faces tightened as they lowered their heads.

They lost?

They actually… lost?

They didn’t expect to lose. They thought… they would win, and they would win beautifully.

”Don’t lower your heads. It’s a good thing that you lost today. Although it’s embarrassing, it’s a wake-up call for you. You’ll know how to catch up during the next training.”

Xia Jinyuan could accept the result calmly.

The female soldiers were indeed very powerful. However, the male soldiers weren’t bad either. If Ye Jian and Yang Zhen hadn’t performed at the last moment, they would’ve used more than 17 minutes.

Yang Zhen was a specialist who came from a paratrooper background while the other specialized in the comprehensive development of female soldiers. It was not in vain for male soldiers to lose to female soldiers in this subject.

In addition, these female soldiers were outstanding in the military unit. The military was strict with them too. They would get rid of those people who just wanted to come in and collect military merits. Only the female soldiers who were truly capable would not lose to the male soldiers. It would be a joke if they lost in all the competition subjects.

Xia Jinyuan could see the crux of the matter and accept it. However, Company Commander Sun couldn’t accept it. He stood there expressionlessly. Although he didn’t say anything, his aura was terrifying.

The male soldiers lost again!

What pride? It was all gone!
