Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

”Will she join in?” Battalion Commander Tian asked again. ”I really want to see the skills of a female special forces soldier.”

He wanted to see how powerful his good friend’s biological daughter was and if she resembled her father.

”Of course. She’s the new instructor. The soldiers below her are so powerful. As their instructor, if she doesn’t show her skills, the female soldiers won’t listen to her.”

”That’s right. It’ll almost be her turn. There are only three female soldiers in front.”

There were still three female soldiers who hadn’t finished. Battalion Commander Tian was staring at them without blinking.

Xia Jinyuan walked to Ye Jian, who was standing aside and scolding him with her gaze. He said in a low voice, ”This is just a reminder. Battalion Commander Tian is watching from behind.

”Don’t turn around. The company commander said that Battalion Commander Tian likes to observe secretly. Just let him watch.”

Ye Jian glanced at him. ”You shouldn’t have told me, then. At least I wouldn’t feel burdened.”

Xia Jinyuan gave a meaningful smile. Didn’t she see that he did it on purpose?

Ye Jian snorted softly. Of course, she could tell!

Other boyfriends would try their best to protect their girlfriends. As for her boyfriend, he would try his best to let her protect him.

Her position was special. She couldn’t hide under his wings and be protected.

Xia Jinyuan smiled again. This time, his eyes were filled with gentleness.

Ye Jian quickly looked away. Her ears were red. ”Mind your actions. Don’t stare at me.”

”No one saw it.” Xia Jinyuan laughed softly. He saw that even his girlfriend’s ears were red. They were so delicate that they looked almost transparent. He curled his fingers and felt his hands itching.

It was better to stay away. That way, he could control himself.

”14 minutes and 19 seconds. Instructor Ye, are you sure you can beat us?” Xia Jinyuan took two steps back and smiled. He was teasing Ye Jian.

Other people’s boyfriends coaxed their girlfriends, but Lieutenant Colonel Xia was unparalleled in the world. He specialized in going against his girlfriend.

As his girlfriend, Ye Jian had her own personality too. She didn’t alienate him because of this. Instead, she became braver. She would return his provocations.

The two of them broke the inherent love and affection between them and would climb to the peak hand in hand.

”Let’s wait and see, Captain Xia!” After saying that, Ye Jian stuffed the stopwatch in her hand into his hand and climbed the vertical ladder with the last female soldier.

The hand ladders were vertical and formed a ’U’ shape. They climbed while holding the rungs tightly. Those who were afraid of heights would feel their legs turning weak just by looking at them.

As for the soldiers who were training, not only did they need to climb up bare-handed, but they also needed to be fast enough.

The female soldiers were the same.

The female soldier in front of Ye Jian was a lieutenant who was promoted from an outstanding soldier. She was a fearless woman. She said, ”Instructor, I’ll try my best to climb as fast as possible.” Then, she climbed up like a monkey.

Ye Jian was amused when she saw this and followed closely behind.

Halfway through the climb, the lieutenant even turned her head to take a look. She realized that her instructor was just a step away from her. She pursed her lips and revealed a faint smile. Her actions became faster.

As she climbed, she told Ye Jian, ”I’m from Xiang Province. My hometown is filled with mountains and trees. When I was young, I loved to climb trees. I could climb trees that were more than ten meters tall. My parents teased me for resembling a monkey.”

Ye Jian felt more at ease. ”The male soldiers took 16 minutes and 19 seconds. Before I left, we were at 14 minutes and 19 seconds. Yang Zhen, whether we can beat the male soldiers or not depends on us.”

Yang Zhen had the military rank of first lieutenant. She used to be a paratrooper in the army, but she had never really parachuted before. That was why she entered the northwest.
