Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Hence, Lieutenant Colonel Xia, who didn’t show any mercy to his father, tactfully expressed that his father would probably think of transferring him away. If he got married too late because of this, he didn’t want the old madam to worry. He and Ye Jian would definitely get married, but it might just happen later.

When the old madam heard this, in order to let her favorite grandson marry Ye Jian as soon as possible, she immediately made the decision over the phone. ”Leave it to us, your grandparents. Your father is unreasonable. We’ll teach him a lesson!”

How dare he ruin her grandson’s plans? Hmph, he was asking for it!

It was the old master’s turn to speak. He reminded Xia Jinyuan that he had to pay attention to the impact of his actions. He couldn’t lose the big picture because of small matters. He couldn’t violate the rules either.

Xia Jinyuan remembered everything. He didn’t dare to joke about Ye Jian’s future. He wouldn’t let anyone gossip about her.

A week later, Commander Xia returned to the old residence to visit the two elders. The moment he entered the house, Old Madam Xia swung the whip that the master used to ride horses and fight in the war at Commander Xia.

Commander Xia, who took the time to come back, was shocked by the old madam’s actions. How many years had it been since she used a horse whip to hit someone? Why was she hitting him with it today?

He hadn’t done anything to anger the old madam!

Commander Xia, who was tricked by his son, was at a loss. He couldn’t figure out what mistake he had made.

Looking at the force of the whip, Old Master Xia was so frightened that he hurriedly said, ”Old lady, be careful! Don’t break your waist!”

Then, he saw Commander Xia dodging left and right. The whip couldn’t get close to him. Old Master Xia’s expression darkened as he shouted, ”Do you want your mother to break her waist? Stand properly and let her whip you twice to vent her anger!”

Xia Jinyuan’s uncle, who came in a few steps later, silently retracted his leg and even thoughtfully pulled his wife to the side. ”It’s rare for Mom to be angry. Let’s go later so that we won’t be implicated.”

He wouldn’t even try to stop the fight.

The strong old madam had said a few times on the phone that she was a little free and wanted to find something to do.

Now, she had found something to do.

The eldest aunt was already used to the interactions between the brothers of the Xia family. The elders were like this, and so were the younger ones. They liked to harm their own. Of course, they could only harm their own family members. If the people outside wanted to do bad things, the brothers would work together to teach the other party a lesson!

”Don’t just watch the show. Mom might hurt her waist or sprain her ankle. No matter how strong her body is, she can’t be compared to the young. If she’s not careful, she’ll get hurt.”

The eldest aunt wasn’t worried about her brother-in-law. She was worried that the old madam would get hurt.

Commander Xia was worried too. Seeing that Old Master Xia had opened his mouth, Commander Xia, who was sighing, stood still and took three lashes from the old madam.

Commander Xia, whose calves were trembling, respectfully asked the old madam if she had calmed down. Then, he asked the old madam to tell him clearly so that he would know what he did wrong so that he could correct it.

Who was the old madam? She was used to all kinds of storms and had fought against countless schemes. Although Commander Xia was in a high position now, the old madam was once in a high position too. It was impossible to get anything out of her.

She snorted twice and threw the horse whip at Commander Xia, who was still wearing his military uniform and had gold stars on his shoulders. Her voice was old and authoritative as she said, ”I can hit you if I want to. Why do I need to find a reason?!”

Such a powerful reason made Commander Xia speechless. He could only accept it!

However, Commander Xia managed to find out later. He was so angry that his heart hurt.
