Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

”Begin!”

The deputy commander lowered his hand. The female soldier pulled the rope tightly and quickly buckled the safety catch. She turned her back to the outside and faced the wall. She squatted slightly with her hips and kicked her feet. Her entire body started sliding down quickly.

Since it was a vertical shooting, she had to shoot during the slide down. Moreover, the number of shooting targets would be different. The first round of shooting might be on the fifth floor, the next round might be on the fourth floor, or they would need to complete the shooting as soon as they slid.

This depended on one’s reaction speed and agility.

Bang… Bang… Bang… The female soldier holding the pistol completed her target shooting as she slid down. After landing, Ye Jian looked at the time. Fortunately, it didn’t take more than a minute.

The male soldiers watching below held their breaths. The female soldiers were indeed very strong.

The company commander took off his clothes for training out of habit. He raised his hand and touched the back of his head. The female soldiers who were selected were indeed different. They completely broke his opinion of the female soldiers.

The female soldiers didn’t just answer phone calls and write documents. When confronted with powerful female soldiers, the male soldiers would blush with shame.

The first female soldier came down and followed the second female soldier down. Third, fourth… Although some female soldiers were delayed due to the shooting, everything went smoothly. There were no mistakes.

When Battalion Commander Tian arrived, no one noticed him. When he saw the female soldiers landing from the sky one after another and shooting nimbly, most of the anger in Battalion Commander Tian’s heart dissipated.

Commissar Tang, who brought him over, smiled and asked, ”How is it? Satisfied? If Zhu Ganggang hadn’t asked the female soldiers to compete, I wouldn’t have known that they were so powerful.

”After Instructor Ye leaves, they will definitely be able to carry the heavy responsibility given to them.”

”Do you mean that Zhu Zhongguo did it on purpose?” Battalion Commander Tian asked without looking away. ”Why do I feel that he’s the one who caused all this?”

Zhu Zhongguo was the company commander’s real name.

”He did it on purpose. He wanted to understand the strength of the female soldiers in advance so that he could have a better understanding of them. After all, these female soldiers are all his soldiers now. As the company commander, how could he not understand them?”

That was true. Zhu Zhongguo looked rash, but he knew what he was doing. Sometimes, when he tried to get information out of people, he would look naive and stupid. But if one was not careful, one would fall into his trap.

However, the new Lieutenant Colonel Xia was a smart person. No matter how Zhu Zhongguo tried to get information out of him, Xia Jinyuan never fell for it.

The anger in Battalion Commander Tian’s heart dissipated completely. He narrowed his eyes and said slowly, ”Zhu Zhongguo’s plan is good. Once the female instructor leaves, he’ll be able to take over as the company commander based on his understanding of the female soldiers. There won’t be a transition period.

”You suggested it back then because Zhu Zhongguo was the most suitable among the three companies, right?”

Commissar Tang smiled. ”If he weren’t suitable, as a battalion commander, you wouldn’t have agreed to it either, right?”

The two old partners smiled at each other. It was fine as long as everyone understood.

”Who’s Instructor Ye? Point her out to me.” The anger in Battalion Commander Tian’s heart had already disappeared. Instead, he felt more at ease. Battalion Commander Tian, who had placed the female soldiers in the company commander’s camp, had some free time. He looked over and could only see the soldiers’ backs. He couldn’t see who his good friend’s daughter was.

Commissar Tang told his old partner, ”The person with Zhu Zhongguo is Lieutenant Xia. One meter away from him is Lieutenant Ye. Both of them are very young. In the morning, the two of them defeated ten soldiers of our battalion, including Zhu Zhongguo. The younger generation will surpass us.”
